Why can I not get into my online banking app @santanderuk it just keeps freezing on the login page after I enter my pin. There doesn’t appear to be any way to close down or log out!

@santanderuk Not only did you put extra money in my account last week and then took it after 24 hours later, I cannot log into my banking due to this issue - although can confirm that contact payments (Apple Pay) work!

@santanderuk have really screwed up - if you need proper IT support please get in touch. In the meantime you need to prepare to compensate customers who cannot access their money or make purchases.

@santanderuk Online banking is down. Businesses run on weekends too and not having access to online banking is not a good look

@EACharles12 @santanderuk I have a watch and phone with Apple Pay. Did nothing. Nor does it help with online purchases. A full Tesco basket online and I was buggered.

@santanderuk Sent £300 from my @monzo account to Santander this morning (before I knew it was down). Just managed to see my Santander balance and there's only £90 in there despite the £300 coming out of my Monzo this morning. Thought it'd send the £90 to Monzo so I've got some money to hand.

@santanderukhelp Understand issues happen, for this length of time though is ridiculous however, the fact that you haven’t arranged to contact customers via text or email to inform them & they only find out once cards are declined or via social media isn’t acceptable. @santanderuk
