@NHUB40 I paid for the full amount with my debit card so I thought I had some protection but apparently I don't meet the criteria for a card dispute. so even @santanderuk can't help

@NHUB40 @santanderuk Thanks for your help. I don't think it's going to be a quick fix. I don't know how these people sleep at night. They knew my circumstances with my work and my children and still sold me an unroadworthy car.

Praise where it's due... fabulous chap called Barry in the Complaints Department @santanderuk sorted out my ranting exasperation with 100% exemplary customer service. Make him head of the Bank of England to take care of the **** show of shoddy service & disappearing branches!

@santanderuk u advertise 2 help put astop 2scammers but my account got hacked &even though it was from a very dodgy site udidn’t pick up on it!!! I’m on the phone now trying 2sort it currently waiting to speak to a 3rd person I have been trying 2 sort it 4 nearly an hour now 😡

@santanderuk u advertise 2 help put astop 2scammers but my account got hacked &even though it was from a very dodgy site udidn’t pick up on it!!! I’m on the phone now trying 2sort it currently waiting to speak to a 4th person I have been trying 2 sort it 4 nearly an hour now 😡

@santanderuk This is rich coming from Santander who support fraud, by refusing to address or respond to attempted fraud, and stating that the Fraud Act definition of "fraud" is wrong

@santanderuk 3 Weeks since you closed one of my accounts in error causing £1000 to go missing. I was told it would be sorted by the 24th October and now told today that there can't be a timescale put on when I will get my money back despite the fact I have rent due out tomorrow!

@Tamchlo @santanderuk My business account was hacked and disabled too. Appeal never worked, I uploaded my ID cards, my photos, and gave them my mobile numbers, I got no response from support, not until someone referred me to @malcomm_55 on Twitter who helped reactivate my account

I thought opening a savings account was pretty simple and fast but @santanderuk really are slow. I applied on the 15/10/22 with an email I’ll be contacted in 3 working days. I did get that email saying there was a delay….I’m still waiting for an account 🙄
