    @NHUB40 I paid for the full amount with my debit card so I thought I had some protection but apparently I don't meet the criteria for a card dispute. so even @santanderuk can't help

    @NHUB40 @santanderuk Thanks for your help. I don't think it's going to be a quick fix. I don't know how these people sleep at night. They knew my circumstances with my work and my children and still sold me an unroadworthy car.

    The Mrs 1 hour and 10 minutes on hold to @santanderuk can’t wait till it’s time to change mortgage I bet they answer first time then shocking service

    @santanderuk Nearly 2 hours trying to get through to fraud department, each time cut off after 1/2 hour giving another number. Disgraceful service!! You asked me to call you!

    @nicperrins @santanderuk I've been with First Direct for 15 years or so. Call centre in Leeds. Never any issues

    @santanderuk I've been on hold for 20 minutes. Your 'customer service experience' is absolutely abusive. Stuck at a service station with a card problem. You will be losing yet another customer. Pathetic spectacle of retail incompetence. Do one!

    @no9bus @nicperrins @santanderuk I’ve been with first direct since the day it opened I’ve never had bad service they are always friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try

    @santanderuk Have been customer since 1979 ( Ex Girobank). Very unhappy with recent service: queues of up to 12 in Leeds Briggate. Long wait on telephone to deal with a fraud issue. #Santander Still on call after 80min.

    @nicperrins @santanderuk We use Metro at work, about 15 different accounts, and they at least answer the phone pretty quickly. Website is a bit basic but it works!

    @santanderuk some people take years building their credit files. Your one MISTAKE has bought my credit down to 30!!! I was on 500! It’s important to me, that you remove it. As I pay, so DONT SAY I DONT. Take my money & LIE. #Cancel
