Been an @Barclays customer for over 30 years. Love the online banking (they one of the first) and app, but the chat and video call functions are hopeless. Only want to open an account for my daughter, but too difficult. Going to @santanderuk now instead.

It’s my understand that you can be in possession of a Help to Buy ISA AND a LISA, but can only use the government bonus from just the 1 account. Is this still correct? Friend was told by a staff member at @santanderuk branch that this is wrong ?? @MartinSLewis

@MorganBroadcast I hope you get things sorted. Sounds horrendous. Worst thing I ever did was go to @santanderuk. My bank a known for their customer service, can recommend first direct. I won't go anywhere else now.

@MorganBroadcast I would keep writing this on Santander and Virgin social media accounts. Customers of @santanderuk and @virgin need to be warned about their horrible customer service. Good luck.

@MorganBroadcast This is just terrible. Completely violating. Then for the bank to accuse you of negligence, is the icing on the cake! @santanderuk do better! Sort this out.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk @VirginActiveUK Did you have face recognition switched on for your banking app too? If so and they had a way of getting through this, perhaps a pic of you? They could then access your banking app, get your pin from within that, and receive any calls they need to change your banking details

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk They can access your PIN number via the Santander app. How did they get past facial recognition and passcodes?? I’ve separated everything. My bank app has extra security also.

@MorganBroadcast @santanderuk But to access PIN they’d need your 6 digit security passcode (the banks one) I can’t fathom how they did it. Unless it’s an inside job at virgin they’d have your deets via membership
