@1CathyMcKeown @santanderuk I read today that the lady has received an apology from Santander and they will cover the loss plus £750 compensation. It makes me wonder though what would have happened if it was someone that didn't access Twitter or have media connections.

@santanderuk on hold to your consumer finance for am hour and half already! Also trying your online chat and that's been an hour! Not something I can do online need to speak to you but also working till 5 so can't ring later! Shocking

Hello again @santanderuk. After spending more than an hour on hold last week I was provided some details to pay into a mortgage account that don’t work with bacs transfers. Do I need to repeat the whole process again, or can someone get in touch with me to correct the error?
