However I explained no one was home as I was away travelling - made no difference, Santander only had this useless method of βhelpingβ me. Iβm close to giving up.

If you try to buy something online, send money from savings to current account, answer questions and say you have not seen the item in person, they lock the account. Absolute pain trying to help relatives with this. It took ages
