@TalkTalk Hi Charlotte, thanks for getting back to me. After two hours of reboots & scanning for issues an automated test of my line from your helpline bizarrely resolved the issue.

@TalkTalk we've had 3 automated calls this morning so far, claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying our Internet line is to be disconnected. These calls are coming from different numbers 0121, 0126, 0128 codes so barring is not working!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a bad do with TalkTalk quite a while back in that I was sold a contract only to be told afterwards that the free calls would only be to others on the same contract. Could I cancel it - no. In the end I went into the shop and raised my voice at which the assistant ...

@TalkTalk …and another example. I’ve just spent 3 hours on a chat that was completely unfruitful. This on top of 12 days of repeating myself; oftentimes on the same call. Just make sure that it’s fixed tomorrow. I’m done repeating myself. Just sort the issue.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a similar experience with TalkTalk a few years ago. There was simply no way of cancelling and when I eventually got to speak to someone they hung up. I will never sign up for anything until I know what the exit strategy is.

@TalkTalk Talktalk use eero routers on FTTP, on these routers the two Wi-Fi signals ( 2.4ghz and 5ghz) cannot be split as with the vast majority or routers. Anyone with IP CCTV cameras will lose the connection as they need a 2.4 signal. You should inform the customer about that.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK stroppy letter to CEO office before they would sort it out. (EDF Energy, by contrast, were sympathetic, helpful and efficient.) Means I will never have an account with TalkTalk. 2/2
