I proved that it wasn't the router but they refused to call openreach as I refused to pay if they couldn't find a fault...for an intermittent problem. I ended up with ftth from BT for only a marginal increase in price. That told em.

I’m more concerned about it dropping out frequently when I’m using the internet or on my mobile. I live in an old farmhouse in rural Cornwall, which doesn’t help. 1/2

The issue is when the internet is not available, sending a SMS link to report a fault to a website is of no use when a customer cannot access the internet! Do better!

James Pianoman (@oldskoolbiz) reported@TalkTalk 100% DOGSHIT. Worse internet provider in the UK. Charge you more for guaranteed all round the house internet and it cuts off. Reddit threads about it and they still do nothing. Worse company I have ever given money too. Useless customer service.

Finiasfinn (@Finias) reportedI urge everyone to steer well clear of @TalkTalk for wifi. Just go check their feedback. EE couldnt do more to help me when TalkTalk treated me badly after DECADES with them. Even claimed my wi fi was working when not and that they would cut my phone line off when not linked!!

Customer care says my account was disconnected due to a TalkTalk technical glitch, and I’m now being treated as a new customer, meaning my contract is gone and I must place a new order. Nicko (@lillywobbles) reportedAbsolute nightmare trying to cancel a contract with @TalkTalk . Was told on the phone my contract had been transferred to 02 and to ring them . Couldn’t tell me exactly when. Eventually through ‘ chat’ managed to cancel. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
