@Raphaelite_Girl Just been through same with TalkTalk. I proved that it wasn't the router but they refused to call openreach as I refused to pay if they couldn't find a fault...for an intermittent problem. I ended up with ftth from BT for only a marginal increase in price. That told em.

@TalkTalk I don’t know, because I haven’t tried it when I’m on a call. I just say it’s a bad line, end the call & redial. I’m more concerned about it dropping out frequently when I’m using the internet or on my mobile. I live in an old farmhouse in rural Cornwall, which doesn’t help. 1/2

@Talktalk disappointed with Talktalk service I’ve called 020 3441 5550 spoke with an agent who said No you can’t have FTTP on Friday your agent said not a problem he was cancelling my Fibre install from BT 7the July 🤔 Ps can you reinstate my BT order

Are TalkTalk good for fibre? Never used them before but they are quoting 63Mbps at £23pm for my postcode, which would make that the fastest internet I've ever had.

@bijalsanghani @TalkTalk These are speeds you'd get on ADSL1 with poor line quality. And unless TalkTalk owns the lines, there's nothing they can do & complaining won't help. You'd be better off switching to a fixed wireless option until you can get FTTP.

@TalkTalk bloody disgusted with the present service, Internet dropping off for hours on end and no way to report it or get an update on any outages. Tried self test online on my mobile and it can't even do a line test properly, phone line crackles constantly too

@TalkTalk In my experience this is not the case, does it really take that long to give a customer the information they needed, and then in the last call, which took almost 60 minutes to complete I had to provide the same information 4 times. So much for seamless communication
