@TheDrstand @SaffronKim @TalkTalk I work in telecommunications and there is very little they can do. I appreciate it’s not nice for your parents, but I don’t think it’s too bad for a company not to want to pay for peoples mistakes when they fall for scammers. It’s awful what’s happened to your parents though

@BoldGerg @SaffronKim @TalkTalk I didn't expect them to pay anything, though that wouldn't be unreasonable, I wanted help blocking the numbers.

@TalkTalk Hi, can someone message me please, my Dad who is in his 60's has been without Internet since Wednesday, he has made multiple phone calls and been on multiple live chats and no one has helped him get his Internet back, absolutely shocking service!!

Horrendous experience with @TalkTalk. My parents, in their 90s have been getting bills of 90 pounds some months. They've been scammed into calling premium numbers. Rang talktalk for help. They didn't want to know. As bad as the scammers. Makes me furious.

Doesn't help that @TalkTalk representative I was talking to was based in Manilla. Disgusting service.

@BoldGerg @TheDrstand @TalkTalk “a nice touch”?! Surely they could help vulnerable customers with blocking scammers at least? You’re not displaying much empathy, tbh.
