@GTOpoppy @Plusnet Going from +net to TalkTalk we had to stay a month without any broadband as the first engineer made a mistake in creating the new line. 3 engineers later (with the company close to charge £65 for the (dis)service) they solved it but what a massive pain!

@TalkTalk Our home number is 01895 713295, account holder is my partner Dorothy Arundel, we have been in contact via chat bot and trying with telephone, we keep getting cut off, all inside house checks have been completed numerous times and the problem is the line.

Who would have thought a 'free' speed upgrade for being with both @virginmedia and O2 would cause so much trouble. 1Gbps isn't worth the hassle for staying with Virgin. Back to TalkTalk in May I think.

aha, so now @TalkTalk are saying no engineer visit was ever booked (even though we have emails from the customer “service” team saying it was) and that it’s been fixed (it isn’t). Can you please advise how we raise a formal complaint please?
