Sarah Jane Thomson (@SarahjThomson18) reported from Smithton, Scotland@TalkTalk why is your solution always 'We'll send a new router'. Coincidental drop out of service following opting to end my contract in a couple of weeks. 😡
-
Federica Stefani (@Nescaphe) reported from Inverness, Scotland@GTOpoppy @Plusnet Going from +net to TalkTalk we had to stay a month without any broadband as the first engineer made a mistake in creating the new line. 3 engineers later (with the company close to charge £65 for the (dis)service) they solved it but what a massive pain!
-

-
Angela (@angelajazz2) reported@PaulUtd16 @TalkTalk Tech is great when it works. Trying to speak to a human these days to sort problems out is nigh on impossible! Hope your parents are sorted soon
-
MaggieTat (@maggie_tat) reported@tesssummers98 I've just spent over 4 hours talking with a TalkTalk chatbot. Eventually managed to resolve my issue by cancelling the service. If I'd spoken to an actual person the problem would have been solved in two minutes. It's absurd.
-
John Jobling (@Preacherman56) reported@billyredhead1 @TalkTalk Bad backs are the worst. Take it easy Bill.
-
Azraël (@azrael_options) reported@FirstSquawk TalkTalk headlines are a classic deal-premium trap — retail sees a spike and forgets the network arm is being carved out. Market makers will pin price while algos front-run the headline, but the real bid only shows once Octopus puts terms on paper. If those talks collapse, the gap down burns every late buyer — and that's exactly when the smart money quietly steps in.

Darren Jenkins (@Villa51Darren) reported@TalkTalk @Ofcom since “planned maintenance “, my 90 yr old visually impaired, widowed mum has been left without a house phone line working for 12 days. Daily updates to say not fixed is not good enough in a modern tech world for an extremely vulnerable customer. DO NOT USE/Help!
-
Kerrie (@WF2K_) reported@TalkTalk I know because I've been told exactly that by your team and I never said I was frustrated? So I'm not sure why you assumed that.
-
john stewart (@johnstewar88) reported@CruellaDeBreck2 @TalkTalk That's awful, absolutely terrible. Company @CruellaDeBreck2
-
Dave O (@llqdave) reportedFor the second month running, @Talktalk have tried closing a complaint ticket by pretending not to have received a reply. The quality of @TalkTalkGroup's (presumably outsourced) African support centre is appalling. #TalkTalk should be avoided.

Catherine Arthur (@CatArthurian) reportedUpdate... They want my 82 yr old mum to send a speed test result by connecting the computer (upstairs) to the router (downstairs) via ethernet cable (which they don't have). 🤨 I explained that they won't be able to do that - they don't have a laptop, and it's not practical to unplug their pc and relocate it next to the router - they just can't physically do it. TalkTalk were not interested and insist it's the only way they can check if they are not receiving the correct speeds – although they did tell me during my first call that they could see the speed was only 12mbps...🤔 They will send an ethernet cable by post anyway, or could send someone out to do it – £150 call out fee. Never mind. Contract ends in October and won't be renewed... Nice service for the elderly, what?

Susan 💜🤍💚 (@HoneybourneFarm) reported@theospreyuk @Shiv_who_burns It's difficult to get hold of someone to actually talk to on this. All I want to know is if I cancel my BT landline (as I don't need it), will it cause problems with my separate Talktalk broadband! I shall persevere!
