@GTOpoppy @Plusnet Going from +net to TalkTalk we had to stay a month without any broadband as the first engineer made a mistake in creating the new line. 3 engineers later (with the company close to charge £65 for the (dis)service) they solved it but what a massive pain!

@TalkTalk Today, in the hope of a resolution for my friend I DMed again. Alas, a very unhelpful person fobbed me off with the same tech number. My friend still can’t get through to a human on that number. No resolution. I am not a Talk Talk customer thank God. Appalling customer service.

WORST customer experience I have ever had in my entire life at @TalkTalk today. 6 different departments to resolve my issue and still not sorted. Makes it much more difficult to explain myself 6 times when I have Covid too! Now just sat listening to a silent line. Fuming.

@Polymate3D @TalkTalk So you gave them 30 days notice and they want another 30 days? I'd cancel the DD and write them a letter to inform. I had a similar issue with gym membership, my bank told me to make a DD 'charge back' which gets a refund and apparently puts a black mark on their account.

@TalkTalk I have called 4 times already to cancel. Why couldn't they do it the first time. Why should I have to keep calling. More to the point, why AREN'T they annealing when they say they are? Total joke.
