I did three days worth of being your engineer, to fix th problem. Then a further two days calling numbers and getting nowhere. Instead of email, RING ME.

The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

Natalia (@TallyWalshy) reported@alex_weel @TalkTalk I went 2 weeks over Christmas with no wifi and no 4g - nothing. I was never reimbursed by @talktalk for this. I was told my current issue would be fixed by an engineer today.. Apparently are relaying all fibre in the area and didn’t think to notify anyone about it. Shocking

Michael Trew (@MichaelTrewYork) reportedTalkTalk broadband was great but we’ve changed provider. Their customer service is the opposite of their broadband. Calls on 10/07, 14/07 and again today to cancel service. On my third person (so far) on today’s call. Send help and chocolate before I lose the will to live.
