Ruth Pudney (@ruthpwasb) reported from Porthtowan, England@TalkTalk I don’t know, because I haven’t tried it when I’m on a call. I just say it’s a bad line, end the call & redial. I’m more concerned about it dropping out frequently when I’m using the internet or on my mobile. I live in an old farmhouse in rural Cornwall, which doesn’t help. 1/2

Very Grumpy Girdle🇪🇺🏴 (@TanyaAGT) reported from Grampound, England@AliButcher @Raphaelite_Girl Wouldn't touch Sky with a bargepole, or TalkTalk, BT, Virgin, or any of the big names. Zen's customer service is fab, they are so lovely

Ruth Pudney (@ruthpwasb) reported from Porthtowan, England@TalkTalk 2/2 The service should be better, no matter where I live.

grannyluvsdub (@grannyluvsdub) reported from Porthtowan, England@Raphaelite_Girl Just been through same with TalkTalk. I proved that it wasn't the router but they refused to call openreach as I refused to pay if they couldn't find a fault...for an intermittent problem. I ended up with ftth from BT for only a marginal increase in price. That told em.

Angus (@Angus_02) reported@TalkTalk awful service. My 89 & 91yo grandparents (one with Parkinson’s) tried to upgrade their internet & are now left with no working phone line. The engineer admitted he wasn't "very familiar with phones." Now told it's 3 working days just to get a case manager. 👏

Paul Wales (@PaulWales897674) reported@MartinSLewis #talktalk has been doing this for years, never agree to a contract extension and always source your own phone

☮️ John Fielder - #NeverAgain for anyone (@JohnFielder1) reportedHad @talktalk full fibre for 9 days now. Not impressed as it has never worked. They have set up their end incorrectly, and seem in no hurry to fix it. Their engineer not coming until Tuesday pm Not sure why they insist on an engineer to my house as the problem isn't here
-
Cam 🇾🇪 (@UTDCamm) reported@paulivory1963 @TalkTalk trust me mate leave them, gave us a terrible service for years and was impossible to get hold of someone who actually cared and wanted an issue solved. Cutting us off half the time, switched to Virgin Media this year and was the best choice

𝒽. (@hayleykling) reportedWe’ve been talking for months, but never in the same room #talktalk

G (@gilbertsanchz) reportedReal world weight, then the fix. SQL injection has powered some of the largest breaches in history. The 2017 Equifax era of breaches, TalkTalk, Heartland Payment Systems: hundreds of millions of records, much of it through injection flaws. It has sat at the top of the OWASP vulnerability lists for two decades. The fixes are well known. For SQLi: parameterized queries, which keep user input permanently separated from database commands. For XSS: input validation and output encoding, so anything a user submits gets treated as text, never as runnable code. Never trust user input. Sanitize and validate everything, every time.

MaggieTat (@maggie_tat) reported@tesssummers98 I've just spent over 4 hours talking with a TalkTalk chatbot. Eventually managed to resolve my issue by cancelling the service. If I'd spoken to an actual person the problem would have been solved in two minutes. It's absurd.
