@guardian The nonsense doublespeak here is shocking. The justification of "investment in their network" is disingenuous at best. TalkTalk don't have a network to invest in! They, like Sky, and every other landline provider with the exception of Virgin, use and resell BT/ Openreach.

@TalkTalk I still got no internet been off all day , I have only been with talktalk since 24/03/21 and not had a good service from you ,1st tv box didn't work so had to wait for new 1 and now no internet not happy need to cancel my contract @TalkTalk

@TalkTalk How much of your support staff is based in Philippines? Cost cutting at every turn.. imagine my trying to understand what one of your Philippines was saying, with her voice audio being interrupted by noise for half a second in every second.. now imagine same for deaf customer..!?
