The @talktalk advisor has now muted the call and is not answering - presumably in the vain hope that we'll hang up. Call has been muted for easily 15 mins. We keep saying "hello Elisa?', then hearing clicks as mute keeps being pressed. This has easily been going on for 15 mins

Husband is on the phone to @TalkTalk, trying to sort out his dad's email and complaints. The advisor really did just use the "all the managers are in a meeting" line after he asked her for her manager on the phone in order to escalate. Their customer service is truly pathetic

@TalkTalk Since you upgraded my fibre connection on Friday I've been unable to access my sky sports boost. I've spent hours trying to sort this with your help desk and I'm no nearer to getting it fixed

@TalkTalk What you could do is get your advisors to stop pressing mute and ignoring your customers in order to get them to hang up so they don't have to deal with the problem, though.

@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup I’ve tried going through your customer service to no avail. I am not a customer but my email address has been given for a broadband account. You have now emailed to say you aren’t getting payments, you may want to shut it down.
