@tescomobile No it’s just where I live as I’ve been further afield and it works , I just felt like I wasn’t important enough to be a customer I expect people to be helpful and want to help me out but it didn’t feel like it

@tescomobile I didn’t subscribe. That’s the point. How do they have my details. Why are TESCO billing me? It’s an Android. I don’t have a SPAM text folder. Yes, I’ve spoken to customer service, but they were of no use to find out how this happened and how I can get my money back.

  • MyWords2021 Michael Chandler (@MyWords2021) reported

@tescomobile Just under 4 hours talking to customer services about PAC number & unlocking. Constantly cut off and not called back by a team who would have trouble spelling the word 'A' So delighted to leave this joke company

  • gomark Mark! (The Herald Angels Sing) (@gomark) reported

@tescomobile Actually, just to clarify on this: I can see on my device how to do a manual network selection, but would texts & calls on another network incur additional charges? (Can't see a way to switch to 2G or 3G only - my options appear limited to 4G as baseline with 5G 'on' or 'auto'.)

  • gomark Mark! (The Herald Angels Sing) (@gomark) reported

@tescomobile Yeah after looking into it, I don’t think you can force 3G on iPhone 12 - they might support it in the background but you can’t limit them to it exclusively. Pretty sure they don’t even support 2G any more.

  • Lainie1970 Lainie Rogers (@Lainie1970) reported

@tescomobile Hi I'm a Tesco Mobile customer. I have received a text saying as a loyal customer I have received a £5 e voucher. Can you tell me if this is legit. I called customer service but the guy wasn't very professional and was vague. Worried its a scam

  • KateBlahRah Katy F (@KateBlahRah) reported

@tescomobile I would like someone 2 investigate how this happened. That a premium rate text service can just start charging a person & TESCO bill their customer. When that customer (me) has had no contact, no texts & did not subscribe to the service. Does Tesco billing have a security issue?

  • michelle07844 Michelle Collins (@michelle07844) reported

@tescomobile Yes, one email and then zilch! I’ll send a pm and hopefully get some kind of resolution.

  • rophnode dero (@rophnode) reported

@tescomobile Thanks for that. It now seems that I will have continued disruption to my service until Friday 17th December. No-one can phone or text me, I can't make any phonecalls and have no connection to the internet unless I'm connected to WiFi. Merry Christmas 👎

  • KateBlahRah Katy F (@KateBlahRah) reported

@tescomobile Also, I have never received any texts from this number. How will sending STOP help? I don’t receive texts. I don’t understand how I can be billed for this, when I don’t receive or send texts to this number. How is it possible.

  • awayfromthesun_ Vix ❄️ (@awayfromthesun_) reported

Absolute daylight robbery from @tescomobile with my data. I’d only used 2.5GB of my monthly data yesterday and now they’re saying I’ve gone through it all + my buffer. Their customer service response is “it happens”. Excellent.
