It is not just a TSB problem 3 of my other banks I have accounts with have the same problems. Maybe Base24 system needs a reboot ;-)

Basically been made out 2b some sort of scam artist or fraudster by ur supposed CS team - complete and utter lack of empathy or understanding. Would my grandad be able to deposit it or does my nan need to be there or can she sign something to give consent?
