Vonnie Sandlan (@VonnSand) reported from Glasgow, ScotlandInfuriating experience trying to put money into my bank account today. @TSB branch on Paisley Road West has reduced opening hours due to COVID so close at 1.30pm, the ATM was down so couldn’t accept deposits, the branch at Braidcraft Rd was closed and ATM doesn’t accept deposits.

We've got a financial guardianship, issued by the Sheriff Court in Glasgow. Peter doesn't have capacity to run his accounts, so we were given the order so we could deal with it. I have contacted you to arrange a payment plan for an unplanned, un arranged overdraft and have been advised I will be paying 66% interest on my monthly payment so £10 would go to the balance £20 interest??

If you're going to flag online transactions and proceed to block my account then I expect to be able to access it quickly otherwise left with no account and money!

You outsource your customer service to some third world country, where none of the advisors can speak English. Then expect poor elderly people to go to the branch when you mess up. It's shocking and shameful.

It’s just after 9.50pm, I’ve gone to transfer my son money to get a train ticket and can’t. This is terrible, especially with being a new cust. The service should be available. What am I to do?
