I ordered @virginmedia 10 days ago. I’ve had 4 points of contact since. And not once was I told that my address wasn’t able to get broadband. They even had engineers out to check, but never bothered to let me know, until today, installation day.

  • jennysinead Jenny (@jennysinead) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

I just had the worst customer experience with @virginmedia so I’m obviously going to tweet about it since they haven’t even had the courtesy to give me a call/email/letter and apologise 🙄

  • karldbradley Karl (@karldbradley) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Issue is over my WiFi, had a look and everything seems to be ok using my post code on that link.

  • jennysinead Jenny (@jennysinead) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia On 3 occasions I wasn’t made aware of the issues with my street, and was lead to believe there was no problems, never mind received promotional leaflets to my address. Now I have no internet with two babies. But thanks for the pathetic apology @virginmedia

  • SeanGibbons_1 Sean Gibbons (@SeanGibbons_1) reported from Derry, Northern Ireland

@TonyRoddUK @virginmedia When it works @virginmedia is great when something goes wrong they are a disaster and customer service is absolutely dreadful. Hope you get sorted soon tho 👍

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Stanplatt Stan (@Stanplatt) reported

@virginmedia I spoke to your retentions last night and £37 a month is the best they can offer after being quoted £52 by your renewals dept. but if I was anew customer I could sign up for £24 per month. That doesn’t seem fair to me some how. What do you think?

  • Vee_Arr me (@Vee_Arr) reported

@virginmedia I don’t know what this means. What is a complaint holder?

  • dagmardnoe Dagmar Noe (@dagmardnoe) reported

@virginmedia And our original appointment was the 4th of March. You just moved it to the 29th? Nobody really knows why? Poor customer service @richardbranson awful! And people don’t know what they are doing.

  • sambaomaps Sam (@sambaomaps) reported

@virginmedia broadband still down in Amersham since morning. Have tried all steps up to resetting router, service status page says it’s fine, but it’s clearly not! Any estimated time for it to be back up and running?

  • rawnuk7 Rawnuk (@rawnuk7) reported

@virginmedia morning started of with slow connection speeds over Ethernet and now I’ve lost all internet

  • bjsboyce Ben Boyce (@bjsboyce) reported

@virginmedia I want a detailed explanation of why your service keeps going down. I’ve asked repeatedly. All I get is “Have you tried this?” or “We can’t guarantee no faults ever”. What is the problem? It is not a problem at my end or with my equipment.

  • Binxford Bubbly Callard 💙 (@Binxford) reported

2/2 I was not offered better BB despite several complaints about it over recent months. I didn’t ask for faster, you see, just for it to work. Very poor @virginmedia. I’ll be gone as soon as I can get out.

  • billosmond bill osmond (@billosmond) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Just tried that. Endless waiting and ended up exactly where I started. Just can’t speak to a human and explain my specific issue.

  • C_CWarrender Claire Warrender (@C_CWarrender) reported

    @Gregflucker @virginmedia And isn't their customer service GREAT! 😬🥺🤨

  • Benzo86lfc Benzo (@Benzo86lfc) reported

@virginmedia Can you also explain why you're directing customers to an sms service which is a bot pretending to be a person. I was even told I was being transfered to an advisor who then said they needed half an hour for their lunch? This is absolutely disgusting behaviour
