  • maddie_dunn Maddie Dunn (@maddie_dunn) reported from Hastings, England

3/3 @virginmedia just imagine being 80-90 years old and patronised by a text message ‘chat’ service which goes round and round in circles all to just try and stay ‘connected’ 🤯 #virginmedia #virginmobile

  • OggyGhost Oggy The Ghost (@OggyGhost) reported from Camber, England

Come on guys sort it out I should be able to get online without restrictions if I’m a virgin media customer

  • maddie_dunn Maddie Dunn (@maddie_dunn) reported from Hastings, England

1/3 I’ve never come across such appalling ‘customer service’ & disregard for its customers than that of @virginmedia currently trying to help my 78 & 92 year old parents navigate a series of dead end automated lines rerouted to generic links that don’t cover the issue

  • BraisbyI Ian Braisby (@BraisbyI) reported from Hastings, England

@timfprice @annembee @virginmedia I have a similar problem with TalkTalk, I have had no broadband or landlines since 17th Feb, they disconnected me because I was upgrading to their fibre to the house, except that got delayed but they still disconnected my normal service. Their web chat service is a joke

  • maddie_dunn Maddie Dunn (@maddie_dunn) reported from Hastings, England

2/3 @virginmedia I have now requested to speak to a human on numerous occasions since Monday to no avail. I have no issue with waiting and being allocated a time to resolve this due to the current situation but the lack of care for customers of 20 years + sums up the robot era!

  • OggyGhost Oggy The Ghost (@OggyGhost) reported from Camber, England

@virginmedia @BitBuzzOnline right NOT HAPPY I am a virgin media customer & I can’t use the WiFi by bitbuzz anywhere without paying or having freetime I thought if it was a network by virgin I could use it without restrictions free if I also downloaded the profile but no

  • OhThisBloodyPC Oh This Bloody Computer (@OhThisBloodyPC) reported

@virginmedia Well the offer was made on the same day that they withdrew the offer so it’s hard to agree a resolution. Thanks for the number. What’s the average waiting time?

  • spechtboy jody specht (@spechtboy) reported

@virginmedia Intermittent service for last week and nothing today. But more frustrated with the mixed messages and poor information about the service. And poor customer service. Hence rant. Only want a clear answer!

  • craigmdennis Craig Dennis (@craigmdennis) reported

@Trev_Morris @bt_uk @virginmedia Thankfully they let him out of his contract (after a lot of fighting). I'll never go near them, that's for sure.

  • spechtboy jody specht (@spechtboy) reported

@virginmedia And you have just sent me to why I am ranting! That page says no issues but when I phone it says they are. When I speak to someone they say there is an issue, follow the link you sent to check, which says no issue. Argh

  • nomadpad25 Andy (@nomadpad25) reported

@virginmedia No thanks. You're absolutely useless! Another compaint is in regarding the existing complaint. customer service on social media is different when other people can see your replies. Weird that!

  • spechtboy jody specht (@spechtboy) reported

@virginmedia If its not working I can deal with that. If is working, brilliant. But to be told to keeping checking an app for details that is not conveying the same message is ridiculous!

  • deanophoneop jon dean (@deanophoneop) reported

@virginmedia What is frustrating is I’ve worked all the time during covid I have a lateral flow test every few days so why can’t your technician s do the same. If you are expecting me to wait until June 21 before I even get a date then I will terminate my contract with you.

  • KJCheshire Kelly Cheshire (@KJCheshire) reported

@virginmedia hi please can you confirm if there are any problems with landline for TF4 2HY? My line is dead. Thanks

  • John_B_Stewart John Stewart (@John_B_Stewart) reported

@Ofcom @ICOnews Currently inundated with calls claiming to be from Virgin Media. Are you guys tracking this? Doing anything to stop these obvious scam campaigns? Last number 01454602368 Surely you have network powers to stop these people at source?

  • spechtboy jody specht (@spechtboy) reported

@virginmedia When I called, the customer service agent said they new about it 2 days ago! I've had issues all week. So not sure what virgin media timescales rate as new? I suppose time is quite subjective really 🤔
