@NickCantle @virginmedia I know what you mean, they used to be reasonable but within the last year or so, there’s been a big change in their customer care, or lack of.

@virginmedia is there something wrong with your blueyonder mail service??? Nothing is sending. My dad’s is also the same. Your website says you’re doing work but emails shouldn’t be affected yet clearly they are 🤔😟

@virginmedia Yes, the speeds are making out at about 94mbps… I used to get up to about 240Mbps. If for some reason those speeds are no longer possible, how about my service plan being changed to reflect this?

@virginmedia Sure thing, let it be known that I think it’s pretty irresponsible of your management to be taking on lots of new accounts whilst the customer service is actually running at a reduced capacity! Credit to you guys in the social media team and those in the call centres 🙏

@virginmedia 7 days since total loss of service / engineer says there is a damaged cable.. @virginmedia best offer is to book for 14 July. That would be 21 days of total loss of service - no phone, no internet, no work, no school for kids isolating…. Can complain but won’t change!! Poor form

@virginmedia over a week now with internet not working, your status page says no issues in the area but your customer support say it’s a known issue in the area and being worked on. Why is the status page not being updated to say there is an issue rather than “no known issues”

@virginmedia customer service team are all incompetent, constant liars and a total waste of time. Virgin Media have overcharged me more or less every month and BROKEN all their promises, they offer ZERO customer service. I strongly recommend DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM, TRY SKY OR BT

@randy_silver @virginmedia Report them to Ofcom/CISAS, that's the only thing they fear and can punish their bad behaviour. Trying to reason with them here doesn't work in my experience.

Tom Hanson 🦭

@AMGitsKriss @virginmedia Typically 18 month. I think the real crapy part is that if you move to an area that isn't covered by Virgin Media (which is pretty common), they make you pay for the remainder of your contract. Because they have crap coverage, the consumer has to pay out of their nose...?
