@virginmedia please DM for help as I am having continued problems with the wifi that are just unacceptable
-
Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia Your auto comp service is ridiculous. And besides, it's not just about the fact it's a paid service - it's the fact no service for several days. This doesn't need an engineer, I just need a box. You have a base just up the road from me, maybe I should go knock on their door.
-
Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England
How easy is it to pair a new Virgin Media remote to a TIVo box? My current remote is not working very well anymore so I've ordered a new one and now I'm panicking. (YES I've changed the batteries/checked the sensors etc)

Jacques (@FutJacques) reported from Norwich, England
Virgin media are awful. Wi-Fi should’ve been installed on 19th of August, and the full installation has been pushed back to past November despite still paying for the Wi-Fi. Shocking.
-
Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England
@TeaKayB @virginmedia They were quick enough to chase the cancelled payments, but given their shoddy customer service, we were not worried. Sent a letter to their registered address, saying politely ‘go forth’ with the screen shots etc. Would never, ever use @Virginmedia after that experience.

Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England
@TeaKayB @virginmedia My son endured similar circle of hell cancelling his account with them when the Uni’s shut down in person teaching and he returned home. Have numerous screenshots of hr long waiting. In the end, he cancelled his direct debit and complained to Trading Standards.

Lady Laura (@LawaLaura) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia Yup. We got an email saying you were switching us off and then switching it all back on again this evening. It’s a planned outage.
-
Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia It's no problem really - we have the TV remote for the volume so it's OK. Is there no way of programming the remote or is it just that it's faulty?
-
Wayne Dixon (@WayneDi51533240) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia Most channels are back still having problems viewing a few of the HD channels.

The service I've had from @virginmedia has been absolutely awful! If I treated my customers this way I would be out of business. Complaint has been dragging on for 2 months now, with loads of empty promises. Now I'm being messed about with my broadband service not working ->
-
Mark Standbrook (@Tall2D) reported from Norwich, England
Three years with @virginmedia involved runaway price hikes, terrible customer service and promises of higher speeds that never materialised.

@virginmedia I’m trying to install my broadband, but don’t have the right socket at home. I was told I wouldn’t need an engineer which is why I booked it in now. Also, my password isn’t working so I can’t do anything. Please help because at the moment I’ll be paying for nothing
-
Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia But no TV service for another 2 days. Not acceptable, and this is being paid for. No offer to even send a quick install box I can do myself.
-
Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England
@virginmedia Just rang and it did say there's an issue but it's been a few days now and my husband works from home which is causing a bit of stress. Hopefully it'll get sorted ASAP.

@bobbert_ @RTGraves @virginmedia Wow... this is appalling... I really do feel that the world doesn't care anymore. Went to a garden centre a few weeks back and the check out girl was on her phone with her back to me.. I **** you not. The manger was told.

The_Seeker1962 (@TheSeeker1962) reported
@virginmedia @LozzaFox I’ve been TRYING for 11 MONTHS. NOTHING! @virginmedia are USELESS and I’m seriously thinking that I should just stop paying you and switch to a service that gives me WiFi I can actually use. It might not be as fast as you offer but any speed is better than you actually provide!
-
Lee McLoughlin (@leedmc) reported
@LozzaFox @virginmedia They're useless. Our is always breaking down
-
Kev F Comic Artist (@KevFComicArtist) reported
@virginmedia We seem to have worked it out: the system now just gives one wifi signal (not 5G & 2G options). We've had to retune all our devices. Is that what the dropouts were? Making those changes? Did we get a message about it that I missed? All working fine, for now.
-
Jeremy White (@jeremywired) reported
As always, @virginmedia says this is because it's "constantly investing" in its network. As constant investing obviously equals constant price rises, maybe you should point out on your TV ads that the price will constantly increase for all users?
-
danielle greyman (@DanielleGreyman) reported
@virginmedia : We’re going to increase your contract price for no other reason than we can! Also virgin media: if you have any issues contact us. Also also virgin media: *closes helpline and understaffs message service so it takes hours to fix anything*
-
Christopher Grainger (@ChrisG_MBK) reported
@virginmedia virginmedia I am still waiting on a call back from a manager since Thursday and you are expecting a payment today. Can you arrange for a phone call as the customer service is terrible and you end up going in circles for hours
