  • buntyhoven Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia Just rang and it did say there's an issue but it's been a few days now and my husband works from home which is causing a bit of stress. Hopefully it'll get sorted ASAP.

  • thejpwphotos Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia Complaint - package price is wrong and everyone keeps promising to sort, but still haven't. Broadband - keeps dropping out. When issue occured last time router swap fixed it. I need an engineer to come out and fix today but nobody can help.

  • thejpwphotos Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia But no TV service for another 2 days. Not acceptable, and this is being paid for. No offer to even send a quick install box I can do myself.

  • chris_greenf Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England

@TeaKayB @virginmedia My son endured similar circle of hell cancelling his account with them when the Uni’s shut down in person teaching and he returned home. Have numerous screenshots of hr long waiting. In the end, he cancelled his direct debit and complained to Trading Standards.

  • thejpwphotos Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England

The service I've had from @virginmedia has been absolutely awful! If I treated my customers this way I would be out of business. Complaint has been dragging on for 2 months now, with loads of empty promises. Now I'm being messed about with my broadband service not working ->

  • chris_greenf Chris Greenfield (@chris_greenf) reported from Wymondham, England

@TeaKayB @virginmedia They were quick enough to chase the cancelled payments, but given their shoddy customer service, we were not worried. Sent a letter to their registered address, saying politely ‘go forth’ with the screen shots etc. Would never, ever use @Virginmedia after that experience.

  • juliettealicex Juliette (@juliettealicex) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia please DM for help as I am having continued problems with the wifi that are just unacceptable

  • WayneDi51533240 Wayne Dixon (@WayneDi51533240) reported from Norwich, England

  • sockformation Tim (@sockformation) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia I’m trying to install my broadband, but don’t have the right socket at home. I was told I wouldn’t need an engineer which is why I booked it in now. Also, my password isn’t working so I can’t do anything. Please help because at the moment I’ll be paying for nothing

  • nick_murrell Nick Murrell (@nick_murrell) reported from Norwich, England

18 months after stopping #BT BB due to shocking service returning as @virginmedia don't serve new home. Terrible sales experience with @bt_uk promised delivery date & mobile back up if couldn't be met. Delivery date delayed, no interim service offered as promised. @BTCare

  • juliettealicex Juliette (@juliettealicex) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia Yeah tried that, says it should be working but the router is still not working

  • Airc83 Aaron (@Airc83) reported from Spixworth, England

@bobbert_ @RTGraves @virginmedia Wow... this is appalling... I really do feel that the world doesn't care anymore. Went to a garden centre a few weeks back and the check out girl was on her phone with her back to me.. I **** you not. The manger was told.

  • thejpwphotos Jon P Watson Photography (@thejpwphotos) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia Your auto comp service is ridiculous. And besides, it's not just about the fact it's a paid service - it's the fact no service for several days. This doesn't need an engineer, I just need a box. You have a base just up the road from me, maybe I should go knock on their door.

  • JohnK83489203 John K (@JohnK83489203) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia @ravaldhiren My bbc1 hd still not working

  • buntyhoven Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia It's no problem really - we have the TV remote for the volume so it's OK. Is there no way of programming the remote or is it just that it's faulty?

  • LawaLaura Lady Laura (@LawaLaura) reported from Norwich, England

@virginmedia Yup. We got an email saying you were switching us off and then switching it all back on again this evening. It’s a planned outage.

  • buntyhoven Hannah O'Hanrahahanrahan (@buntyhoven) reported from Norwich, England

How easy is it to pair a new Virgin Media remote to a TIVo box? My current remote is not working very well anymore so I've ordered a new one and now I'm panicking. (YES I've changed the batteries/checked the sensors etc)

  • FutJacques Jacques (@FutJacques) reported from Norwich, England

Virgin media are awful. Wi-Fi should’ve been installed on 19th of August, and the full installation has been pushed back to past November despite still paying for the Wi-Fi. Shocking.

  • MikeReynolds8 Mike Reynolds (@MikeReynolds8) reported from Norwich, England

    @Denise09262928 @vallyrogNCFC @virginmedia Down to zero.

  • Rabby81671440 Rabby (@Rabby81671440) reported

@virginmedia So if this is ongoing and I'm not being Rude here but should o not be entitled to some sort of compensation. I think you can agree with me I'm not getting the service I signed up to. And how long will I have to put up with this?

  • TheProlificPen Louise Steel (@TheProlificPen) reported

@virginmedia No joy from your service pages, but I'm Day 2 with on and off broadband. Trying to wfh on video production and it's not happening. Can you advise please.

  • ArsenalRadar ArsenalRadar (@ArsenalRadar) reported

@virginmedia I am keeping my 17 Dec slot and I will be getting the engineer to arrive....but I can't help that engineer once on site, if I do not have the keys. Will also be calling VM each day

  • sophontrack ✨Sophie😷✌️ (@sophontrack) reported

@virginmedia Hiya - it took about an hour but was back on before 10.30pm - there will be planned maintenance tomorrow but I'm not sure how much time that will mean the internet is down for

  • Rabby81671440 Rabby (@Rabby81671440) reported

@virginmedia I haven't done it just yet. I've noticed with the link you sent me there was a problem and it was supposed to be fixed by 5pm yesterday. I just wasn't sure whether to bring an engineer out to my poperty over something like this.

  • HerenesM Richard Stringer Music (@HerenesM) reported

@virginmedia @Cwedol I have done all this and have two boosters from you. The broadband signal isnt clean and wired and wireless are worse than my last provider

  • shumel0318 SCX (@shumel0318) reported

@virginmedia I have been without internet for 12hrs with several household members working from home. And no technician until 3 days time. And no compensation offered. If you can't provide the service, does that not void the contract??

  • MasqYGO Masq🛹ENVtuber (@MasqYGO) reported

So apparently. Follow up to my problem with virgin media. There’s something called an FN outage in my area. And on top of that the engineer tasked with fixing out issue doesn’t even know what that means. Actual trash company lmao.

  • leezieb Elise Bulger (@leezieb) reported

Constant outages and snail speed internet over the last fortnight, customer service pages all 'broken' and now they don't even keep their appointment to collect the old router...@virginmedia what the hell is going on and where's the compensation for such shoddy service? #pathetic

  • imwasim Wasim Raja (@imwasim) reported

@virginmedia I have raised this with @broadbandchoice only and also tag #virginmedia as I'm still a virgin media customer. If any third party is selling your product with false promise than there should be a way you hold them responsible and help to get the issue resolved.
