@virginmedia No, I never thought I needed to, I thought the whole point was that's it's wireless broadband. Connecting something and getting a fast reading will make no difference to myself and my family as we struggle to stream or game on our wireless devices.

  • radiogeordie
Geordie On Your Radio 📻🔊 (@radiogeordie) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia any update on the cabinet outage in BT39?

  • Garlic_Icon
WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia "aren't guaranteed?" They've been terrible from day one. After 6 months as a customer you clearly overpromise on your capabilities. My speeds at the moment are probably no better than dial up

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I accept more customers are working from home including myself however after a year I would expect a company such as @virginmedia to adapt and do everything within their powers to improve their service, not worsen!!??

  • radiogeordie
Geordie On Your Radio 📻🔊 (@radiogeordie) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia The status page says everything is ok but when I phoned the advisor said there was a problem in the area.

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Having spent nearly three hours tonight trying to speak with someone with no luck I would like to know how customers get in touch, how they can get a solid service and when @virginmedia will cop onto what is acceptable as a business provider?? 😡

  • radiogeordie
Geordie On Your Radio 📻🔊 (@radiogeordie) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia could do with hiring a load of people out of work to work from home. The call wait time is horrendous. About the 10th attempt to get a problem resolved...

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

When is @virginmedia going to be called to order by authorities. How is possible they get away with customers on hold for hours, broadband service levels vastly below power and to rub salt in, @virginmedia think it is acceptable to increase their fees? Enough is enough, @CISASUK!

  • radiogeordie
Geordie On Your Radio 📻🔊 (@radiogeordie) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@onairwithgareth @virginmedia Seems to be network wide mate, stations VM business line keeps dropping too.

  • Garlic_Icon
WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

I see I'm not the only unsatisfied customer of @virginmedia out there. Twitter full of disgruntled customers who are effectively being defrauded paying for a service they don't get.

@virginmedia hello, I’ve been having WiFi problems for some time now. I already have a WiFi pod in the home but if I move it then we get another dead spot. I have called about this but was told that I need to have a speed test below 30mbps.

@virginmedia Good morning, many thanks for your help! I didn’t realise I could do that!

@virginmedia Well I’m at work now but it was working then going off for a couple minutes then back on all day. Then about 9pm went off for 20 mins then back on. Went on your page to check the service and it was saying nothing was wrong.

  • Hamsolo1977
    Paul (@Hamsolo1977) reported

@O2 your app has been absolute garbage since the @virginmedia account integration, it’s a nightmare to login and payment options consistently fail to work, I’ve been a customer for many years but it’s this kind of nonsense that makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

@hamchester44 @_HenryMill You don't get why people are so into it. Did you see the price of f1tv? It's literally a fraction the price of Sky.... If you don't have a classic TV service like Sky or Virgin media, which many don't, you're only option is rubbish NowTV sports pass for over £30 a month!!!

  • john1mccarthy
    John M (@john1mccarthy) reported

@virginmedia I'm shocked!! Someone actually called me just now. Albeit 4 days late, but I guess that's just how you guys work. No real news, I'm still not due any form of service from you until May 14th, so a bit of a waste. Amazing what a bit of negative pr on X can do

  • rchcool
It's mom not mum (@rchcool) reported

@virginmedia @sabrevan Yes can you please explain the issue? Repeated occurrences means we can’t rely on the service until you confess the problem and whether it has actually been solved or if you’re just applying temporary fixes to avoid paying compensation to customers
