Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia Then I noticed that I was missing the children’s channels. I called and got it sorted but I was told the new bill will show as £150 odd but not to worry a manager will be applying discount, that never happened.
-
Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia Two calls to 150 left me with little confidence that issue would be resolved. Neither seemed to know what was going on... VM have my number so I would appreciate if someone with some technical knowledge could call me. You’re currently not providing the service I’m paying for

Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia I called again on Saturday to resolve this again and I was told this was a crazy amount of discount and that any TL or manager would find it difficult to approve. After hours on the phone and all Managment unable to help, I’ve now been advised to make a complaint.

Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia Thank you, but any chance you might actually try to resolve the issue rather than just redirect me to policies?

@virginmedia your broadband service has been s**t the last 4 days in the BT8 area. Any chance of a fix as I am trying to work from home and having to use hotspot on my phone to ensure I can stay online. A trip to BT when my contract is up.

Jennifer McKiernan (@_JennyMcKiernan) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia Your complaints team appears to have lied to me. They've failed to register my formal complaint about harassment & what appears to be a criminal data breach. This is all over a router that was returned a year ago. Can you help?
-
Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia And I was also advised if it wasn’t resolved soon I should show the contract agreed to ofcom. Hopefully you can fix this or escalate it, thanks.

SueB (@littlemissileo) reported
@virginmedia just spoke to someone who was supposedly in your contact centre. Line was terrible, sounded like they were outside and she kept saying I can see on your account but I'd not given any details, then she asked me if I was the wife of a named person. Very odd, I hung up!
-
Captain Baptain (@BaptainCaptain) reported
Surely a complete loss of services paid for @virginmedia is a breach of contract? Is it only Belfast you’ve let down this time? BT is still working, I will be looking into switching asap
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia 2/ Despite that issue being due to a junction connection in the cabinet in the street, the op seems to refuse to look at that and just wants to reboot my router. Also claims it is due to my use of Modem Mode. Is there anyone in the UK I can contact regarding this?
-
Paul McClure (@chiefmackers) reported
So be careful ppl…if u buy a package deal with @virginmedia and @o2 and neither provide the service u bought, they will still lock you up in a contract they aren’t adhering to and charge you. Thank god for @ThreeUK or I would be completely without internet for 5 months at home
-
lucifer (@Lucifer878) reported
@virginmedia wasted about 3 hours waiting for customer service this week including calls getting mysteriously cut off mid call
-
Captain Baptain (@BaptainCaptain) reported

Even when it feels like the whole world is going down the toilet @virginmedia still manage to stand out as a shining example of how not to do things and treat your customers. Extraordinary.
-
Paul Watson (@paulwatson72) reported
@virginmedia changes my contract without any request from me. I use the WhatsApp service to query this. ‘Very sorry extremely high call volumes…’ 2 hours later and nothing. Are they allowed to be this rubbish?
-
Evan Davis (@EvanD) reported from Solihull, England
@virginmedia Just called your offshore call centre regarding my internet connection. I’m having the same issues as I had when I got a £154 credit from you. /1
