@creppermint @virginmedia 2/ maintenance or scheduled maintenance, but just turning it off no warning when people are trying to work from home is just poor service. The website is useless, no faults showing and call centres closed, no way to contact them...

@Omi1974 @sky @virginmedia Sounds like it's a sync issue. Hopefully reset should sort it. If it's one device try connecting with wps button. Should be front of hub and there should be one on ur Q box. Press n hold the one on hub for a few sec then same for Q box.

So cancelled my @zeninternet order last Wednesday when they failed to activate on time, went to @virginmedia instead, activated yesterday. Asked Zen to confirm they have processed refund and still to hear back... Would def stay away from them, nothing but problems from start!

Broadband is so frustrating. Family going nuts! I’m sure VM staff are trying their best to fix but not good enough. Been on off on off in BT4 (Belfast) for weeks. Router switched on and off with no improvement. Seriously thinking of closing top home package account.#virginmedia

@virginmedia Well good news, my V6 box lost signal as well for 5 minutes, and when it came back again, so did the broadband. The Virgin van was parked near a cabinet, so maybe that was him fixing a fault there.

@virginmedia I appreciate the quick reply, however we've been given estimated fix dates many times and they never turn out to be true. This needs to be escalated please. I'm still paying £76 per month for a service which is unusable half of the time, and I'm not the only one.

@virginmedia It shows no issues with internet but poor WiFi connection with varying numbers of devices, sometimes while in the same room as the router and within a few feet of it. It definitely looks like the WiFi and not the fibre connection

@virginmedia I do this constantly and it always says service is great. 271 on wired connection is great but I paid for wireless connection as well which is what we use predominantly and as you can see it was only offering 10mb last night

@virginmedia Your site reports no issues, and yes I have the phone plugged in to the router. I get a dial tone but cannot make or receive calls. The internet has been unstable since this VOIP move at the beginning of July. Rebooting the router sometimes help. I’m in modem mode if that helps?
