Mark McLaughlin (@MarkMcL60727750) reported from Bangor, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I am not happy with my Internet speeds. I have been a virgin customer for 3 years and have been told that I apparently have too many devices connected which I have never heard of with any previous provider. I have 100mbps and have had nothing but slow lagging stream

  • Garlic_Icon
WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No, I never thought I needed to, I thought the whole point was that's it's wireless broadband. Connecting something and getting a fast reading will make no difference to myself and my family as we struggle to stream or game on our wireless devices.

  • lynnnnseyj
Lynsey (@lynnnnseyj) reported from Bangor, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia hi, how to I make a complaint regarding construction. Office is now closed and the team were in a meeting earlier. Is there an email address?! Really not good enough!!

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

When is @virginmedia going to be called to order by authorities. How is possible they get away with customers on hold for hours, broadband service levels vastly below power and to rub salt in, @virginmedia think it is acceptable to increase their fees? Enough is enough, @CISASUK!

  • peterhkirk
Pete Kirk (@peterhkirk) reported from Ballyclare, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I accept more customers are working from home including myself however after a year I would expect a company such as @virginmedia to adapt and do everything within their powers to improve their service, not worsen!!??

  • DrRichCollins
Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Thank you, but any chance you might actually try to resolve the issue rather than just redirect me to policies?

  • Liver4breakfast
Martin Moore (@Liver4breakfast) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia the irony. The repair date for the TV and intermittent internet problems has been moved, after 2 days of the same problem. Try to send Virginmedia a DM "There is a problem connecting with the server".. That's because of an intermittent internet problem that I have.

  • beezlebum
Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@raycasey2003 Delicious! Having just spent six months of my life battling @virginmedia for the bare minimum compensation I was entitled to and witnessing their atrocious 'customer service', this has delighted me. I know he doesn't own Vigin Media anymore, but he created the monster.

  • HarbourLord
Harbour 💚 (@HarbourLord) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia you have the worst laid out website. All I'm trying to do is speak to someone on chat to figure out why I have zero upload speed right now and honestly thinking of just cancelling my broadband contract because your site is so unfriendly for customers to navigate.

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904
DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Having spent nearly three hours tonight trying to speak with someone with no luck I would like to know how customers get in touch, how they can get a solid service and when @virginmedia will cop onto what is acceptable as a business provider?? 😡

  • beezlebum
Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Nearly an hour trying to call. I have better things to be doing on a Saturday. This is atrocious. All I want is an explanation as to why I have been denied a service for two months and lied to repeatedly.

@virginmedia Can you confirm connectivity issues in Belfast please? I did have to disconnect for new carpet fitting, i put it all together again and it worked. I returned home at 830 to find it down again. #Belfast #VirginMedia #Internet

  • beezlebum
Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No! It's your issue with your equipment. You should be keeping me, as a valued customer, informed. I've spent hours listening to crap music waiting to get information about this. Then being lied to. Do better.

3 days in a row WiFi is down... @virginmedia you need to step up your game. Perhaps I won't pay you 3 months in a row and see if that gets you to get your act together...

  • GeekyHairy
    GeekyHairyBestia (@GeekyHairy) reported

@Simon_Whale @virginmedia Your lucky you got dial up speeds bro. I’m lucky if I get 3-6mb on the GB package and that’s when I have a connection. But yeah customer service has got worse and worse. To point you can not contract or make a claim. Good luck dealing with them,m. Lost my job because of them 🤬

    Cookie (@chrissincl29564) reported

@virginmedia Hi, I have done. Someone said they would call me back then didn’t as your colleague said he couldn’t find a good deal for me… great customer service. You also then tied me into a new contract when I moved home. @Ofcom would be interested im sure Please let me know deals for me

  • TheHashton
    Harry Ashton (@TheHashton) reported

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt I regularly threaten to cancel on renewal, instead of paying £80-85+ or whatever they want me to pay I get it for £30ish. I've been doing that for a decade now but it's just annoying if you miss a month or so. Gonna look into Openreach through

  • TheZacMan2050
    Ishamael (@TheZacMan2050) reported

@virginmedia internet at ch45 has been up and down several times in the last 24 hours. Always that it will be fixed by 16:07 tomorrow. What is going on?

  • DeviousPL
    invs86 (@DeviousPL) reported

@DeviateDefiant @virginmedia @MoneySupermkt It’s mind-blowing anyone is still using Virgin, they are absolutely awful, network is held together by string and tape and customer services do their absolute best to infuriate you - either dropping the call, long holds or arguing. “Technical faults” are a weekly occurrence.
