  • SeanJPMcKee Seán MacAoidh (@SeanJPMcKee) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I opted out of marketing, it’s from your sales team trying to stop my from switching my service, it’s overkill especially as I’ve already had the conversation with your agents about it.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No! I've just spent 26 minutes trying to get through, so I'm just going to pester you on here instead. I've raised three separate complaints to no avail. My only recourse is public humiliation. For a communications company you're really very poor at it.

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia you've surpassed yourselves this time! 50 days without broadband and yet another promised date of reconnection passed with no communication or explanation. I refuse to waste another sunny weekend waiting for your useless 'customer services' to lie to me.

@virginmedia I'm shocked how poor you treat your customers. I cancelled my service 10 days ago and somehow you talked me into staying... but then failed to live up to your promises again... I have cancelled today. Thank God for the 14 cooling off period. #Broadband #complaint

  • beezlebum Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Nearly an hour trying to call. I have better things to be doing on a Saturday. This is atrocious. All I want is an explanation as to why I have been denied a service for two months and lied to repeatedly.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • flvral millicent bystander (@flvral) reported

i honestly think virgin media are the worst, least transparent, most unintuitive wi-fi providers in the uk. i’ve had to speak to 5 individual people today already just to try and close an account, and now they want another month of money for a house i don’t live in! fraudsters.

  • TheShannimal_ TheShannimal ➡️ #i69 (@TheShannimal_) reported

@virginmedia @BonaFideHiro Wow, your service is actually dreadful. It doesn’t even have a date or time on his picture ffs

  • YeetVali Mike The DigiFloof (@YeetVali) reported

@virginmedia Well, I can't believe that the cable would be broken as no one has touched it once today. The internet just ended up slowing down in the afternoon, and when I went to do a speed test, it stopped all together, and just kept returning "No RF Signal".

  • davidbriscoe70 David Briscoe (@davidbriscoe70) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for the reply ! I am a current customer and just want to upgrade my hub.

  • HStricklandSLT Holly Strickland (@HStricklandSLT) reported

@virginmedia It’s just not good enough. This was YOUR mistake. This is having a significant negative impact on all of us in many ways during this house move. No one on your team is taking responsibility for the error, we are just being fobbed off at every turn, making a complaint does nothing

  • wassup_ese WassupEse (@wassup_ese) reported

Thanks @virginmedia for nothing, I have had no internet for the whole day, how long does it take to fix a certain issue?!

  • perdikitty KittyXSquirrel (@perdikitty) reported

Nice one @virginmedia. Appalled with your service levels, I’ve decided to switch provider after 10 years with you. Apparently, I have to call you to let you know I’m going… except every time I try, I get stuck on hold then cut off. Bravo. As if I wasn’t resolute enough already.

  • YeetVali Mike The DigiFloof (@YeetVali) reported

@virginmedia The website is showing that there are TV issues in DL1 3EX but not internet issues

  • YeetVali Mike The DigiFloof (@YeetVali) reported

Hey, @virginmedia my internet just went down and its giving me "No RF Signal Detected" What's going on because the website shows no issues in my area, and I have to stream in 2 hours.

  • landers711 Lynn (@landers711) reported

@virginmedia Trying to reset my password and being told it doesn’t meet requirements no matter what I try to use but no clue given as to why. From what I can tell it does meet the requirements listed. Can anyone help?
