@virginmedia @Ofcom Just rechecked with VPN off - absolutely no better !!! But I need the VPN because the assigned IP address is blocked on some websites and @virginmedia are telling me it’s not their problem !!! @ofcom is this the way a service provider should behave - 3hours in the phone yesterday

@virginmedia Calls and texts are fine data is the problem can't even use the old SIM it has been cancelled! Tried getting through on 789 but just can't get through!

@Omi1974 @sky @virginmedia Sounds like it's a sync issue. Hopefully reset should sort it. If it's one device try connecting with wps button. Should be front of hub and there should be one on ur Q box. Press n hold the one on hub for a few sec then same for Q box.

@virginmedia They left me to fend for myself, the new sim wiped out my APN settings, @virginmedia were no help at all, got settings from a third party 😱

@virginmedia @Ofcom So surprise surprise call through to support - automated service says hub needs to be restarted AGAIN !! (8th time since Monday) but instead of the option that used to be there that allowed you to get connected to someone - now gives instructions and hangs up #badcustomerservice

@creppermint @virginmedia 2/ maintenance or scheduled maintenance, but just turning it off no warning when people are trying to work from home is just poor service. The website is useless, no faults showing and call centres closed, no way to contact them...

@virginmedia Well good news, my V6 box lost signal as well for 5 minutes, and when it came back again, so did the broadband. The Virgin van was parked near a cabinet, so maybe that was him fixing a fault there.

So cancelled my @zeninternet order last Wednesday when they failed to activate on time, went to @virginmedia instead, activated yesterday. Asked Zen to confirm they have processed refund and still to hear back... Would def stay away from them, nothing but problems from start!

@virginmedia First was they wer waitin on a tool, then it was a gas issue, then waiting on a survey…none of it true. The engineer came out & told nothing stopping the work, they’re just reli behind. Last reason was a car was parked over the access point. So They delayed me another month.

@virginmedia Yes. Nothing works. This does not usually happen - it is more intermittent than slow. One minute it works then it doesn't then it does and it is super slow. It's ridiculous, we even got a new WiFi not that long ago
