@virginmedia Yes it just wasn’t laid in front of our apartments they went around instead so they can’t be connected to the virgin line and they want me to pay for moving to a non virgin area when it clearly is if the entire street has the line down bar this small section

@virginmedia They already have and said they can’t offer the service but they still want me to pay saying I moved into a non virgin area but it is a virgin area and the clause says if you can’t provide the service in an area I don’t pay the cancellation fee which I think this is covered by

@seatzie @internetsense @virginmedia Even still the Max power is determined by Radited power from the antenna. But yes antenna position and placement will help . Putting a small one inside the box isn’t great, To be fair their routers are pants. They can’t even handle the throughput of 350meg in router mode

@virginmedia hi I’m about to move to a new apartment but it appears the apartments aren’t connected to virgin and can’t have it installed what can I do if I’m not able to bring virgin with me can I cancel?

@internetsense @seatzie @virginmedia Plusnet last I checked where just BT, they also have a habit of putting customers behind CGNAT which means no public IP bad for gaming etc

@uc_stan @virginmedia Can’t get a hold of them to cancel the fee tho they said it’s a non virgin area but they have it at every house on the street then it just ends at our apartments and starts again next house up like they went around the apartments purposely so it’s in the t&cs that’s their fault

@virginmedia yet another example of horrendous service from @virginmedia - “too busy” to deal with my call so disconnected me..... online service that I was directed to .... cannot make the changes I need .... not providing service but guess what .... still charging me !!!

@virginmedia Couldn't finish the conversation. No have received a email saying "disconnection virgin, and states will be disconnected on agreed date" when no date was agreed. Really terrible customer service

@virginmedia put my bill up without notice despite five months trying to get a tv box fixed and poor internet except in one room. No record of my.complaint in December. Advised a manager would ring back today and that was four hours ago. Shocking. 5 months of appaulling service

@virginmedia awful customer service just now. Pay £70 a month, TV box making a constant noise, 25mins on phone to be told there’s nothing you can do & call in April when you have boxes. Can’t schedule a call but can schedule a complaints call? Stuck paying for a box we can’t use
