  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Two calls to 150 left me with little confidence that issue would be resolved. Neither seemed to know what was going on... VM have my number so I would appreciate if someone with some technical knowledge could call me. You’re currently not providing the service I’m paying for

  • DAVIDBUZZ2904 DAVIDBUZZ2904 (@DAVIDBUZZ2904) reported from Lisburn, Northern Ireland

  • lennylinfield Leonard Totton (@lennylinfield) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@theboardlfc @virginmedia It’s terrible. Mine was fine until lockdown started then it dropped to on average 8mb! Called a few times to be told it was fine. Only for preferring Virgin TV I would have changed a while back. There are many with the same story

  • Fionnominal Fionntán BP Clarke. (@Fionnominal) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Multiple people across different parts of the city I’d say yes there was an issue. 14hours ago. But I’m not reporting a fault I’m making a complaint.

  • lilmissymoo90 Lauren Blair♥ (@lilmissymoo90) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Thank you, but any chance you might actually try to resolve the issue rather than just redirect me to policies?

  • deewoodvalemufc David Simpson (@deewoodvalemufc) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia your broadband is a heap of **** . Cakesmackers

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I called again on Saturday to resolve this again and I was told this was a crazy amount of discount and that any TL or manager would find it difficult to approve. After hours on the phone and all Managment unable to help, I’ve now been advised to make a complaint.

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia And I was also advised if it wasn’t resolved soon I should show the contract agreed to ofcom. Hopefully you can fix this or escalate it, thanks.

  • JaneHolohan Jane Emir Holohan (@JaneHolohan) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Yes I have - it happens every evening around 10pm - a friend in BT7 has the same problem, we are BT10 ? What happens at 10pm ?

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Then I noticed that I was missing the children’s channels. I called and got it sorted but I was told the new bill will show as £150 odd but not to worry a manager will be applying discount, that never happened.

@jeffdance1 @virginmedia Only this past week? You lucky sod Jeff, ours has been doing that for the last 8 months now and at night they must be switching it off themselves, counting the days till I can cancel my contract with them, were great in the past but have been woeful this time round.

  • Matt_Mark2 Matt (@Matt_Mark2) reported

Hi @virginmedia. Seeing as you've made it completely impossible to contact anyone by phone, thought I'd try this. Just wanted to know how you'll be compensating me for loss of earnings whilst you're not providing the service I pay for?

@virginmedia ...so to help people Virgin make them willingly dox themselves? Are they ******* mad? It's WV12 4RU, this company is an absolute joke.

  • MaggieH_UK Maggie (@MaggieH_UK) reported

@virginmedia #broadband is currently shite and my @EE #4G is being shite as well. I mean I know it’s 21st century problems but it’s bloody annoying when I’m accustomed to (and PAYING FOR) continuous internet access.
