@virginmedia I am not happy with my Internet speeds. I have been a virgin customer for 3 years and have been told that I apparently have too many devices connected which I have never heard of with any previous provider. I have 100mbps and have had nothing but slow lagging stream

  • RobTuomey

@CatrionaKing1 @virginmedia I'm a total tech idiot 🙈 It's a huge part of the reason companies like Virgin can take advantage

  • mfearonmusic
Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Then I noticed that I was missing the children’s channels. I called and got it sorted but I was told the new bill will show as £150 odd but not to worry a manager will be applying discount, that never happened.

  • DenMagic
Den (@DenMagic) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

Down again @virginmedia in BT17. Came back on but I am paying for a service that cuts off several times a day. Not on.

@theboardlfc @virginmedia It’s terrible. Mine was fine until lockdown started then it dropped to on average 8mb! Called a few times to be told it was fine. Only for preferring Virgin TV I would have changed a while back. There are many with the same story

@virginmedia the wifi connection in our home has been terrible the last few months. Anytime my mum calls she gets frustrated because she doesn’t understand the questions, but she is the only person staff will talk to as she is the account holder. Any suggestions??

  • SeanJPMcKee
Seán MacAoidh (@SeanJPMcKee) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I opted out of marketing, it’s from your sales team trying to stop my from switching my service, it’s overkill especially as I’ve already had the conversation with your agents about it.

  • Conor1971
Sam “Ace” Rothstein 🇪🇺 (@Conor1971) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

@martinmcnally53 @virginmedia It’s supposed to be some super fast internet but it’s broken more than it works and can’t change because of the contract

  • aaronmacn
Aaron (@aaronmacn) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia if I’m gonna follow you support service, to text a problem to you, surely me waiting 48 hours later with no reply is a bit too long?

  • beezlebum
Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No! It's your issue with your equipment. You should be keeping me, as a valued customer, informed. I've spent hours listening to crap music waiting to get information about this. Then being lied to. Do better.

  • courtexplores_
Courtney Briscoe Photography📸 (@courtexplores_) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia hi, I’d like to file an official complaint about a manager who refused to pass us higher than his position, tried to force us to cancel our service and threatened to close the case while it’s still unresolved

  • nadean_ni
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia @TaylorMod Yes we've checked, the world and its granny knows VM is down in Belfast but this has been since Monday now. Absolutely ridiculous. Cost me a fortune on data when I moved and VM kept getting the addres wrong, was well over a month without the service and this was 2 months ago.

  • johnpbell
John Bell (@johnpbell) reported from Bangor, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Broadband is very temperamental. I’ve tried all the suggestions, reset the hub etc. It fixes the issue temporarily but seems to often revert to very poor speeds. Hub 3. Sometimes speeds show as fine, but on all devices the speed is poor.

  • belfastkoala
liz (@belfastkoala) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia @Sathnam What about helping the original poster @PippaCrerar as well, or do you only help famous people?

  • DenMagic
Den (@DenMagic) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

I wonder how many times today my 'superfast' @virginmedia will slow down and cut off? Lodged complaint and passed it onto BBC Watchdog. #virginmedia

  • nadean_ni
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia It's been off for 3 days now!! Absolutely nothing. Had problems when I moved also a few months ago, kept taking the wrong address down and I basically paid for 3 weeks without service, now this.

@virginmedia Wrong. Insurers got slaughtered for this sort of behaviour and rightly so. I’m still paying a third more than the price you would offer a new customer. Case number is C-2906261078.

@y_alibhai @virginmedia The arrogance. You don’t get preferential treatment Yasmine due to your ‘awards’. Btw If you agree with SM ban for kids meaning we will all have to sign in to access SM then get used to this.

@virginmedia The service status page now says. 17.07 - you also sent a text to my wife who is the account holder at 08.07 today to say everything is fixed. So you clearly haven’t a clue what you are doing and yet you expect your customers to be patient. Time to give Virgin the boot I think.

  • Some_Nick1976
    Some-Nick1976 (@Some_Nick1976) reported

@virginmedia It happens almost every evening from around 8pm to 9.30pm. It is also quite poor on a Sunday afternoon for a number of hours.

  • Hockeymum5

So @virginmedia send me a new hub router coz my old one needed a "boost" and it's worse! Can't even mirror my phone to TV to play a short video for buffering, jumping, stopping which I NEVER had an issue doing with my old router! Pointless "upgrade", want my old router back!
