@virginmedia Just tried to phone again and when they transferred me to the complaints department they just hung up. Your customer service is actually appalling
-
Gavin Wilson (@nextofkindler) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia We have had new boosters sent out and recently a new hub to try to solve the problems but still they remain unresolved. This situation needs addressed as we are currently paying for a service that we aren’t receiving
-
Aine Murray (@AineM15) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia for anyone who is thinking about switching to virgin media don't. Their £50 refer a friend credit doesn't work and they charge £35 for the activation fee and take the first and second month in advance. So now looking at a bill of over £100. Tried to phone but no use
-
Andrew Fleming (@BelfastTory) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@jst_jelliott @virginmedia Same here. Network is fine but router isn't able to connect to the internet. This happened recently around this time of night a week or so ago. Getting annoying.

Agnieszka Golonka (@a_golonka) reported from Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland
@jadey_voorhees @virginmedia They really are, I don’t know how they still exist! Try sky, and because you work within abbeycenter guys will give you discount, they did for me as well. Means if any issues as well you don’t have to phone customer services, they will be able to sort it out for you on the spot!
-
Agnieszka Golonka (@a_golonka) reported from Whiteabbey, Northern Ireland
@jadey_voorhees @virginmedia Honestly they are horrible, we changed to sky. Their customer service is terrible, up to 1 h waiting on the phone after having to press all the options... just for them to put you on hold and hang up! Took me over 1 week of phoning to finally cancel the contract!

@virginmedia Already did that , you are pretty much lying to people taking the first and second month in the first bill. Only have been with you for one month. Your customer team said this was in the terms and conditions. Can guarantee you it's not as I wouldn't have signed up if it was

I've just had someone claiming to be from @virginmedia on the phone, yelling at me in broken English that my router has been corrupted & they need the details of my mobile phone to send me a new router. Feels like a scam so I hung up but I wouldn't put it past Virgin TBH.

@Cassetteboy @virginmedia I thought Ofcom ruling is that you can cancel a contract with no penalties if you cancel within 30 days from notice of a price increase? That was definitely the rules recently if it hasn't changed.
