  • Garlic_Icon
WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No, I never thought I needed to, I thought the whole point was that's it's wireless broadband. Connecting something and getting a fast reading will make no difference to myself and my family as we struggle to stream or game on our wireless devices.

Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No! It's your issue with your equipment. You should be keeping me, as a valued customer, informed. I've spent hours listening to crap music waiting to get information about this. Then being lied to. Do better.

  • BeauSooth
Gerry McCrudden (@BeauSooth) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia "I am really so sorry that you are looking to cancel the services which I will need to get you connected with our customer relations team who will be able to help you further..." I had to ring on a different day as I had no more time that day

  • courtexplores_
Courtney Briscoe Photography📸 (@courtexplores_) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia hi, I’d like to file an official complaint about a manager who refused to pass us higher than his position, tried to force us to cancel our service and threatened to close the case while it’s still unresolved

  • ScottD_DJMS

  • HarbourLord
Harbour 💚 (@HarbourLord) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia you have the worst laid out website. All I'm trying to do is speak to someone on chat to figure out why I have zero upload speed right now and honestly thinking of just cancelling my broadband contract because your site is so unfriendly for customers to navigate.

  • tomdkeating
Tom Keating (@tomdkeating) reported from Carryduff, Northern Ireland

@Seanlpmccabe @virginmedia It was down early Thursday morning, 10:30am(ish), no snow then. Very poor that both TV and BB are down for so long.

  • davmacfc
Dale McDonald (@davmacfc) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia can you please explain why the best price as a loyal customer for years is 30 pound more expensive than a new customer. Can’t even get through to right department to cancel

@virginmedia Still no WiFi in the house and no on hold for another 55min today all I need is an engineer out as the boost you keep doing is not working no matter how many times I boos reboot the system? I’m sure an engineer can solve the problem please just send one out.

  • beezlebum
Sir Bee (@beezlebum) reported from Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia No! I've just spent 26 minutes trying to get through, so I'm just going to pester you on here instead. I've raised three separate complaints to no avail. My only recourse is public humiliation. For a communications company you're really very poor at it.

  • mfearonmusic
Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia The housemate who's connection it is has been in contact many times, apparently on Monday he was told permission was needed from the account holder of the new connection, who jas not been contacted about that, and it also sounds too stupid to be true

@ZDangermouse @virginmedia If you have a decent data plan, you can use your phone as a hot spot for your smart tv. I’ve done it for an Xbox a few times when my internet went out. Games are a little slow, but Netflix and other streaming services were good when I did it.

  • UFinlay33392
    Iran,Houth,Hez,Hams & Sky/BBC Lies#NeverAgainIsNow (@UFinlay33392) reported

@virginmedia @Dudley1uk How we supposed to register for compensation when your stupid site and service doesn't even work properly to register a complaint? Pathetic in not ringing you so you can. Charge me £1.50 that I won't get back.

@Simon_Whale @virginmedia I’d never consider virgin too expensive, and can never get in touch with them.

  • RednalNut
    RednalNut (@RednalNut) reported

@Simon_Whale @virginmedia If you have a good mobile signal consider a LTE router & buy a unlimited Data Sim. I left Virgin after 23 years for similar reasons as above. With EE & happy with the service.

@phil66uk @virginmedia You aren’t alone internet has been spotty today and now completely down @virginmedia

  • christobinsings
    Cristoir Toibin (@christobinsings) reported

@virginmedia happily giving new customers FREE #Netflix but happy to lose a customer of 26 years to #Sky because they won't give it to a long-standing customer who has given them thousands of pounds over 26 years. Make it make sense.
