WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia No, I never thought I needed to, I thought the whole point was that's it's wireless broadband. Connecting something and getting a fast reading will make no difference to myself and my family as we struggle to stream or game on our wireless devices.

Gareth O’Hare (@GarethOHare3) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia Oh for many a useless hour. We then spotted engineers outside. He said he wasn’t here to install internet, but to find Toby box. I said it’s there, someone dug it up 3 weeks ago. He said someone couldn’t find it during the week. Short story, it’s found please help

WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland
I see I'm not the only unsatisfied customer of @virginmedia out there. Twitter full of disgruntled customers who are effectively being defrauded paying for a service they don't get.
-
Conor Huddleston (@Hudd84) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
No Internet for 2 days now @virginmedia no facility to speak to anyone, book a technician or anything else for that matter. Your help text is quite frankly useless in this situation. Please provide a method to get this resolved ASAP. Awful service.

Dermdog ☭ (@Dermo1888) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia I'm shocked how poor you treat your customers. I cancelled my service 10 days ago and somehow you talked me into staying... but then failed to live up to your promises again... I have cancelled today. Thank God for the 14 cooling off period. #Broadband #complaint
-
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia It's been off for 3 days now!! Absolutely nothing. Had problems when I moved also a few months ago, kept taking the wrong address down and I basically paid for 3 weeks without service, now this.
-
WTF! (@Garlic_Icon) reported from Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia "aren't guaranteed?" They've been terrible from day one. After 6 months as a customer you clearly overpromise on your capabilities. My speeds at the moment are probably no better than dial up
-
Victoria Gillespie (@Torig1983) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

-
Seán MacAoidh (@SeanJPMcKee) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia I opted out of marketing, it’s from your sales team trying to stop my from switching my service, it’s overkill especially as I’ve already had the conversation with your agents about it.
-
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia The link only states there are problems in the area, not why or how long we should be expected to be without the service.
-
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia It may be an issue you're already aware of but it's going on for 3 days now and not even as much as an email to explain why.
-
Nadean (@nadean_ni) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland
@virginmedia @TaylorMod Yes we've checked, the world and its granny knows VM is down in Belfast but this has been since Monday now. Absolutely ridiculous. Cost me a fortune on data when I moved and VM kept getting the addres wrong, was well over a month without the service and this was 2 months ago.

@virginmedia Actually never mind I have had enough nonsense from your company and I have waited long enough for a response to my complaint. Escalating my complaint now.
-
Loren Jones (@3c545a9c4c1a45e) reported
@Cuttsrich @virginmedia Try saying for 6 months with no action by @virginmedia Actually, they did send an engineer who didn't fix the intermittent issue, but said he would return but didn't, neither reported his visit to virgin. So back in the never ending and unfruitful customer "service" loop. Ofcom
-
Richie (@richiebyte) reported
@virginmedia See instead of sending me daft emails telling me that you are going to charge me £5.75 more because you are losing too many customers, could you maybe respond to my complaint that I sent you on the 3rd of Dec before I have to go to CISAS.
-
Sharon Potter🖤💛 (@ArlandriaLamb) reported
@virginmedia ..... Again??? Why don't you inform your customers of an outage instead of them finding out through looking on the Internet??
-
Jayne nightingale (@JayneNight) reported
@virginmedia @jdms999 No point ours says no problems but when we eventually tried calling there is a problem in the area ! A problem that’s been going on for days and on and off since November - working from home is becoming untenable. Lots will be jumping ship at thus rate total joke
-
Toby Schuster (@TobySchuster) reported
@virginmedia Thanks, the number helped. The fact that apparently after more than 24 hours the issue hasn't been fixed less so.
-
Sally Campbell (@SallyCampbells) reported
@virginmedia So how can I avoid the same thing happening again if I ring tomorrow? The customer service person said the fault team could investigate and send someone out if necessary, then the fault team said they couldn't do that.
-
Iain Whitaker (@iain_whitaker) reported
@virginmedia 8 hours waiting on online chat today to speak to a customer retention specialist with no reply. One way to not let customers leave…
