Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Antrim and nearby locations:

  • _JennyMcKiernan Jennifer McKiernan (@_JennyMcKiernan) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Your complaints team appears to have lied to me. They've failed to register my formal complaint about harassment & what appears to be a criminal data breach. This is all over a router that was returned a year ago. Can you help?

  • DenMagic Den (@DenMagic) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

Down again @virginmedia in BT17. Came back on but I am paying for a service that cuts off several times a day. Not on.

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Then I noticed that I was missing the children’s channels. I called and got it sorted but I was told the new bill will show as £150 odd but not to worry a manager will be applying discount, that never happened.

  • DenMagic Den (@DenMagic) reported from Dunmurry, Northern Ireland

I wonder how many times today my 'superfast' @virginmedia will slow down and cut off? Lodged complaint and passed it onto BBC Watchdog. #virginmedia

  • Fionnominal Fionntán BP Clarke. (@Fionnominal) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia internet down. Newlodge Belfast. It’s hard to tell though because it’s speeds sometimes are slow and stop.

  • lennylinfield Leonard Totton (@lennylinfield) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@theboardlfc @virginmedia It’s terrible. Mine was fine until lockdown started then it dropped to on average 8mb! Called a few times to be told it was fine. Only for preferring Virgin TV I would have changed a while back. There are many with the same story

  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Thank you, but any chance you might actually try to resolve the issue rather than just redirect me to policies?

  • RobertMulligan5 Robert Mulligan (@RobertMulligan5) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@newsmulg @virginmedia John, having the same issues this weekend and specifically today in the Lisburn Road area..

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia And I was also advised if it wasn’t resolved soon I should show the contract agreed to ofcom. Hopefully you can fix this or escalate it, thanks.

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia I called again on Saturday to resolve this again and I was told this was a crazy amount of discount and that any TL or manager would find it difficult to approve. After hours on the phone and all Managment unable to help, I’ve now been advised to make a complaint.

  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia hi, how do I escalate a complaint through customer service please? New service connection as of Monday... tv service still not working despite 2 calls (and v long waits) to customer service number. Not happy and considering cancellation.

  • deewoodvalemufc David Simpson (@deewoodvalemufc) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia There’s been issues with it ever since it was installed! K for keck . Richard balloon head sort it out to ****

  • DrRichCollins Richard Collins (@DrRichCollins) reported from Castlereagh, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Two calls to 150 left me with little confidence that issue would be resolved. Neither seemed to know what was going on... VM have my number so I would appreciate if someone with some technical knowledge could call me. You’re currently not providing the service I’m paying for

  • Fionnominal Fionntán BP Clarke. (@Fionnominal) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

@virginmedia Multiple people across different parts of the city I’d say yes there was an issue. 14hours ago. But I’m not reporting a fault I’m making a complaint.

  • mfearonmusic Michael Fearon (@mfearonmusic) reported from Belfast, Northern Ireland

Imagine being miss sold a product and no manager can resolve the issue, even after a month!, shocking @virginmedia #virginmedia

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • YorksHillbilly William Hancock (@YorksHillbilly) reported

@virginmedia I don't want to have to speak with someone. I pay, you deliver. That's the contract we both agreed to. If you can't deliver and insist on hiking your prices what's the point of your existence? This crap is exactly the same reason you had to pay me £500 in compensation last time.

  • ColinJudkins Judders (@ColinJudkins) reported

@david_witty @virginmedia It never used to. It's not moved since I moved in in September.

  • Wafaseha Wafa Sehailia (@Wafaseha) reported

@virginmedia And I have already gave you the reference number so please stop wasting my time by asking the same question if you are not going to help

  • nkrs87 nkrs87 (@nkrs87) reported

@virginmedia Tried that already and it says it’s fine, but I obviously can’t check my connection if the WiFi has cut out in the part of the house I work in. It’s a pain when your on an important call and the WiFi drops completely

  • hadfuckin_tight J. Chapman, what a yessa (@hadfuckin_tight) reported

@virginmedia Surprisingly it says no known issues but when I ring the number you sent me it says there is an issue. Typical of your company, put out lies in the open and make you work to find out the truth.

  • angryhusk Andrew Huskisson (@angryhusk) reported

@virginmedia Hi I'm sorry but I'm an expert in using your service status page as I've had to do it so many times over the last year or so. This is a newish hub 3 that was fine for the first month or so. Just started to have problems this week but its been every day

  • david_witty The Wit (@david_witty) reported

@ColinJudkins @virginmedia Obviously ghosts then. I shelled out for a google web mesh system and turned my router into a hub. Haven't and any issues since. Worthwhile investment IMO.

  • julie_jah Julie Harris (@julie_jah) reported

@virginmedia I’ve clicked the link & it’s taken me to my login page not a web chat!

  • MikeJTaylor96 Mike Taylor (@MikeJTaylor96) reported

@virginmedia The usual Unreliable and unstable. We have also logged a complaint and was due a manager call over a week ago. Still nothing.

  • Hunner6times Hunner (@Hunner6times) reported

@monstroso @virginmedia Might as well chat to me. I haven’t got any either and I can’t help but I won’t charge you as much
