@OrrCollins @virginmedia Try plugging into the router using Ethernet. It could be a WiFi issue only.

  • vickyshilling
Vicky (@vickyshilling) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@simonrim @virginmedia You wait for the actual service and dealing with support when you get cut off unexpectedly! Worst mistake I ever made going with them, ended up with no service for a month and eventually changed provider for half the price and more reliable.

Dermot Keenan (@DermieK) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@vmbusiness @VirginMediaIE #VirginTV total waste of time #360box 360box doesn’t exist waited over 10 days then when it arrived I had to wait 6 hours online trying to get resolution which never happened. Total disaster in customer service.

John003 (@john003) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@griptmedia @john_mcguirk From RTE point of view cheap price...Means they never have to have John McGuirk on again for fear of libel....Newstalk and Virgin media can use the same excuse....

  • DermieK
Dermot Keenan (@DermieK) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@VirginMediaIE Don’t do it… I’m now heading into day 13 without full service. Should have stayed on my existing package rather than upgrading. #bringOnAmazing more like #bringOnDisaster @virginmedia @VirginMediaIE #virginmedia

  • john003
John003 (@john003) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@MarkPaulTimes Problem is RTE Newstalk and Virgin Media see ISAG as presenting the settled science...Don't question the assertion they repeat..."If last July we had implemented zero covid.. would need no lockdown for last 6 months"...Media see anyone against them as some sort of covid deniers

@LeeHarris @virginmedia The fact you seem shocked by this means 1 of 2 things. 1) You're really dense & didn't research how truly terrible VM services are 2) You went for the cheap option & this is the result

  • GauciReports
    Gauci Reports (@GauciReports) reported

@LPXIOP This isn’t anything new tbh. The two copper networks are basically BT & Virgin Media. They’ve been migrating across to VOIP (Voice over ip) for a long time now. Unfortunately copper networks have become old and expensive to maintain and quality of service just deteriorates over time with fault calls, replacing cables and customer complaints etc.

  • lionking2014
    Martin (@lionking2014) reported

@LPXIOP They say VOIP is more reliable than the the old PTSN network... Gonna be using my @virginmedia Broadband which goes down more often than the telephone so don't see how it will be!????

  • fahadiiae
