I need to give a HUGE shout out to @VirginMedia. Had a fault with broadband and from reporting the fault to fixing it was 48 hours. And the engineer extremely knowledgeable and polite. I have been 3 years with Virgin and the service simply astounding. Well done @virginmedia

@virginmedia So the technician that was confirmed in a text that was coming today was automatically cancelled with no notification to me. Just called again and now been told I will get a technician on bank holiday Thursday - so a week without service and my weekend ruined - nice one

@virginmedia In my original tweet I explained that I was placed on hold and then transferred to an automated service, I'd describe that as rude. Further, being told I was be transferred to somebody who could help, but then transferring to a automated service is rude. 1/2

@virginmedia Also, being placed on hold without being asked, and then transferred to an automated service because the advisor said and I quote "it appears I don't have all of the instructions".

@virginmedia I’m pretty much done with this issue with you guys, I’ve done every test under the sun and it sounds like the general issue is the new router for 1Gb. It’s been reasonable up to now but it can’t cope with the amount of devices.

@virginmedia U agreed a new contract deal via the phone then didn't activate the deal, when the customer called U denied any knowledge and try to offer the same deal for £20 more! U cannot connect the customer to Glasgow customer services who agreed the deal. #Sharp_Practice

@virginmedia I dint mention when I was moving, there was some miscommunication and the operator whoever spoke to mentioned it as 30th, I just called the customer team and they mentioned this. How can such things happen, and they mentioned for reconnection it would take 3 days.

Brian McGilligan

@virginmedia I renewed my Virgin Media contract online at the weekend and received email confirmation that all previous channels would still be available; however, this is not true as I have been without ca. 20 HD channels for two days and no resolution has been forthcoming
