@VirginMediaIE @SamiHaahtinen Ack, it totally makes sense to delay a page based on dependent service; but last time I recall it was a lot of time. This is one of many times my home is not affected by ESB outage, just the Virgin Media service. Anyway, now you know some affected homes don't lose power :)

  • AilbheC7 Ailbhe Conroy (@AilbheC7) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@VirginMediaIE Since moving to virgin media I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars of coverage! Sometimes it just knocks off which is very worrying especially if I’m in an area with no WiFi. I’m in Dublin City so and haven’t changed location so I don’t know what the problem is

  • COSiorain Carol-Ann O' Síoráin PhD (@COSiorain) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

@virginmedia I wasn’t waiting to get through, the problem is related to communication skills, being able to listen to exactly the customer’s needs and being able to evaluate what is required, checking in with the customer to clarify needs- good listen and analysis needed

  • vickyshilling Vicky (@vickyshilling) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@simonrim @virginmedia You wait for the actual service and dealing with support when you get cut off unexpectedly! Worst mistake I ever made going with them, ended up with no service for a month and eventually changed provider for half the price and more reliable.

  • DaveyDonn Davey Donnelly (@DaveyDonn) reported from Dublin City, Leinster

The actual hack of Irish TV at the moment. Bridget and Eamon on RTE and the laughably appalling Darklands on Virgin Media. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as hideously bad on Irish Television.

@virginmedia Do you know? Funnily enough, after trying your text support (see above) and you phone customer services, I didn't try a third way of posting on your forum. I lost a bit of faith in your systems I'm afraid.

Very annoyed at the amount of stream quality issues I’m having recently. Anyone at Twitch able to help me optimise my settings on @streamlabs? Doesn’t help that I just did a speed test and my usual 200+ DL speed was at 3MBPS?!?!?! Cheers @virginmedia

  • walchyboy russell (@walchyboy) reported

@virginmedia They don’t want to do anything at all to resolve the situation, I have spent over 2 hours on the phone Tuesday and Wednesday, hence wh I end up on here trying to resolve the problem, call centre overseas really not very helpful. Please resolve. Thank you

@virginmedia 2 days later - down again. surprise surprise. so infuriating. how many times does this have to happen before I can exit my contract?

  • robs_burns Rob Coombs (@robs_burns) reported

@virginmedia No. I was waiting for my Mrs to calm down from the TV360 box deciding it wouldn't let her watch the recording of the friends reunion this morning. Most of the feedback from the forums, in regards to the hub4, are to buy a new router and use the hub as a modem as they're useless.

  • lalabiso Mollichella💙 (@lalabiso) reported

@virginmedia Last communication I had a a couple of weeks ago, basically saying, for the second time, that you tried to contact us but couldn't get through. Which isn't true as we didn't have any missed calls either time. On here I've been told to look for help on the forums....
