@Dublin_Suzy @MaiaDunphy @VodafoneIreland Only if you're switching provider on the same network - if switching to/from Virgin Media to eir/sky/Vodafone/Pure you might need to cancel with your existing provider too - so always check just to be sure (there are a total of 7 networks and more providers)

@MarkPaulTimes Problem is RTE Newstalk and Virgin Media see ISAG as presenting the settled science...Don't question the assertion they repeat..."If last July we had implemented zero covid.. would need no lockdown for last 6 months"...Media see anyone against them as some sort of covid deniers

.@VirginMediaIE Imagine a service provider tells you your billing cycle is the 8th - 8th each month. Then adds 3 extra weeks to your bill and says it’s charging you from the 27th - 27th of each month but hasn’t changed your billing cycle! #VirginMedia #Virgin360 #doublecharging

  • Actuarial_Tutor
    John Lee (@Actuarial_Tutor) reported

@virginmedia I'm afraid the phonecall with the team was very poor yesterday: saying there was no engineer appointment, then saying there was & they'd been (when they hadn't) & then that the problem was resolved (when we're still connected via our neighbours cable stretched over their lawn).

  • MatOmbler
    Mat Ombler (@MatOmbler) reported

@DamienMcFerran @virginmedia Sack em off mate. I found a better phone with more data and a cheaper price and they refused to beat it and their customer service rep just said “but how can you be sure the new provider’s signal will be as good as ours and is changing worth the hassle.” Swapped soon after.

  • Fryguy64
    Mark "Fryguy64" Kelly (@Fryguy64) reported

@kingmonkey25 @DamienMcFerran @virginmedia We dropped them for TalkTalk last year for the same reason. We'd been with them for about 6 years and while the service was good when it worked, it often cut out.

@virginmedia can’t get through to you on the phone. Your customer service number is deactivated. Got price rise email that goes against the previously agreed contract details. Need to speak to someone to resolve this - or leave the service. How can I speak to someone?
