    This time last year I was working a delivery job just to survive and pay my car insurance/mobile bill and basic food shops. Fast forward a year. Now working 2 brilliant jobs with DIY SOS and Virgin Media, which I never would've got had I quit on Irish Football Fan TV.

    @John_B_Stewart @British_Airways Having worked in Support for 25 years, unfortunately I know all of the maths. Outsourcer gives good price, undestaffs, survives QBRs with client. Company saves, customer and call agents are all in hell. See also: NTL/Virgin Media and all iterations thereof.

    @virginmedia Crap WiFi for last few weeks with calls dropping, poor audio, get replacement modem which I installed after calls finished today and set it up-CONNECTION PROBLEM & of course tech support only until 6pm! Tried FAQs - STILL NOT WORKING!!

    @OConnorOisin Bad news sells. Positive news doesn’t. RTE is almost as bad as Virgin Media when it comes to putting scary stuff in titles, and burying fact.

    @SkyIreland unbelievably poor service. New SkyQ upgrade - spent over €2k per year for last 10 years of loyalty, box faulty & best service you can give is engineer out in 6 days. I’ll be off to @virginmedia unless this changes. #CustomerService

    To setup everything here is a puzzle, they just expect you to know how it works, bad user experience with almost everything @virginmedia I don't know what my username and password is yet I got a link to login, how do I link an account to my usage?

    @DowndetectorUK found alternative ways of watching ITV1. get a clearer constant picture than Virgin Media. Several sources at zero cost. With the constant problems and ever increasing costs, I don't mind if I get interrupted tv at such an enormous discount.

    @virginmedia your customer service is atrocious. Tried to get an engineer visit as not getting barely any channels. On the phone now for 30 minutes This problem has happened before . Only an engineer can fix this. HELP
