Virgin Media says its broadband outage issue is resolved. - It’s advising people with issues to ‘reboot’ - It’s telling UK customers they can claim a “loss of service credit”; unclear for Irish customers.

@brian_y33 @virginmedia Well I upgraded and doubled my broadband speed, supposedly; but it seems worse than ever. Can’t get through by phone. Emails are all ‘no reply’. So @virginmedia has my money, but I don’t have my improved service. 🤯

@brian_y33 @virginmedia Thanks. @virginmedia is sooo slow, I can’t even access my banking app. Not fair. I’ve played the game, jumped through their loops, paid for an upgrade. And absolutely no improvement and no service. Still on hold to @virginmedia by phone incidentally. Over an hour now!

@virginmedia my daughter has finally got a new home in supported accommodation but can't move in until a telephone line is connected so her carers have access to a 24/7 phone. The earliest appointment is currently a month away. Can you help us so she can start her new life?

@virginmedia An assortment of issues. Appreciate you asking, but rather than explaining them on repeat to the Nth social media / whatapp / webchat / phone agent, I’d rather just speak with CR and speak with them. Been chasing you a lot about it so far and silence despite requests 4 call back.

@vmbusinesshelp @vmbusiness I hope you're joking - I've spoken to that team four times already, each person rude and/or unhelpful.

@virginmedia That link takes me through to check the service status in my area. I can't access my virgin media online account as you haven't managed to actually install my broadband yet. I'm not a new customer, I've had VM for several years. I've simply moved house.

@virginmedia Who can I speak to about getting my complaint escalated? You still haven't sent an envelope and your site won't let me order a new one. I'll just bin the router at this rate and I'm not paying the charge you've added to my account

@virginmedia Is it possible to have a new remote for the 360 box sent to me? The current one has a problem with the OK button not working all the time.

@virginmedia Is there some sort of compensation or something? This is the 2nd week this is happening. It's not even a one-time thing its constantly in my area. How can engineers not simply fix the problem and leave it alone?
