Virgin Media Ireland says it doesn’t have a “repair time frame” on a sizeable broadband outage affecting “the Dublin area”. It hopes that the undiagnosed issue will be fixed today as, “given the scale it would be very rare for this to continue for the full day”.

@virginmedia @vmbusinesshelp Hi, if you check Twitter this has been reported by a number of Virgin Media customers in the Ballsbridge area. It it a network issue so it should not matter if its a Corporate or Private account.

@F_Silvia95 @virginmedia Hi Sylvia, I spoke to James on the Customer Service Team and he has advised that they are aware of an outage in the area. There is an Engineer on site and an estimated repair time is 12 o'clock. Hopefully it will be sorted sooner 🤞

The service & lack of loyalty @virginmedia is beyond words. Paying just shy of £150 per month and they aren't willing to offer to match new customers deals is crazy. Then to charge me £35 for me to install the router only for it to fail a week later..shocking service!
