@OConnorOisin Bad news sells. Positive news doesn’t. RTE is almost as bad as Virgin Media when it comes to putting scary stuff in titles, and burying fact.

@Andrewkdublin @SkySports Seems to be a Virgin Media issue, Sky customers can watch it no bother.

Dave Kerr (@darkdiver) reported from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Leinster

@Dublin_Suzy @MaiaDunphy @VodafoneIreland Only if you're switching provider on the same network - if switching to/from Virgin Media to eir/sky/Vodafone/Pure you might need to cancel with your existing provider too - so always check just to be sure (there are a total of 7 networks and more providers)

  • john003
John003 (@john003) reported from Fingal County, Leinster

@griptmedia @john_mcguirk From RTE point of view cheap price...Means they never have to have John McGuirk on again for fear of libel....Newstalk and Virgin media can use the same excuse....

  • callderone
    JacquieB 💚🤍💜 (@callderone) reported

@virginmedia why can’t you cancel or reduce your package online? @Ofcom is it legal to try and delay any attempt to cancel your TV package by failing to respond to requests on messaging apps or keeping you holding on a call for hours?

  • Urban__Groove
    Urban Groove (@Urban__Groove) reported

@virginmedia How dare you give your crap partners O2 @O2 permission to set up a direct debit in my account without my permission? 😡 Next time you pull a stunt like that i will end my contract immediately and go else where, You thieving B******* 😡

  • unknownkd99
    KD (@unknownkd99) reported

@virginmedia Any reason an engineer hadn't managed to fix our internet issue and instead delayed the fix estimate twice now leaving us without internet for 2 weeks and trying to charge us £700 to leave when your not providing your service?

  • ashlet87
    Joshua Oliver (@ashlet87) reported

Tired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8K_Best_IPTV40 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies

  • petepedwards
    pedwards (@petepedwards) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia They are on a separate network to most other providers so you can get a contract with someone like BT/Sky etc while Virgin dispute is sorted. Three also offer a 5g based home internet service that's dependent on mobile signal.

  • RSpurs1980
    R.A. (@RSpurs1980) reported

I can’t watch the game. Not because I’m scared of the outcome. But @virginmedia has been down in my area since Thursday. Ya kunts

    Mark Dickson (@4bff1d43443741a) reported

@virginmedia still waiting on email 1.5hrs later. Appalling customer service #joke

  • Bingerz123
    Bingerz (@Bingerz123) reported

@OliverGMcManus @virginmedia Go on the open reach network my man. Essentially all providers use it except virgin meaning the competition is high for retaining customers. Usually aim for a 24 hour service visit from an open reach engineer. Virgin are the worst BB provider, period.

  • benev91
    Ben Evans (@benev91) reported

@virginmedia we have been without internet for a week now. Rinsed through mobile data. Fix date apparently (4th date given) now on 3rd June. We have received compensation but an easy fix would’ve been to give us unlimited data on our mobiles (both with o2) for the month.

  • nbevans
    Nathan B. Evans (@nbevans) reported

@BenZaranko This is just how network operators roll now in hyper-consumption economies I saw a Reddit thread the other day where one guy had ended up paying Virgin Media £130/month just for basic cable broadband. Just because he hadn't challenged any of the price increases for 3 years.
