Virgin Media Ireland says it doesn’t have a “repair time frame” on a sizeable broadband outage affecting “the Dublin area”. It hopes that the undiagnosed issue will be fixed today as, “given the scale it would be very rare for this to continue for the full day”.

@F_Silvia95 @virginmedia Hi Sylvia, I spoke to James on the Customer Service Team and he has advised that they are aware of an outage in the area. There is an Engineer on site and an estimated repair time is 12 o'clock. Hopefully it will be sorted sooner 🤞

So I just had a call from @virginmedia saying they'd detected that my internet speed is poor (yeah no ****) and that they wanted to take me through a 10 minute process to improve things. I'm at work, in the middle of a task at this point, so I tell them I don't have 10 minutes

@virginmedia hello did a phone contract online I’m sure I passed credit check as it asked me to tick a box completed the whole form then it said there was a glitch your end and you’ll be in touch shortly but on your website it says my orders parked and from previous that’s a fail
