    @simonrim @virginmedia You wait for the actual service and dealing with support when you get cut off unexpectedly! Worst mistake I ever made going with them, ended up with no service for a month and eventually changed provider for half the price and more reliable.

    @VirginMediaIE Since moving to virgin media I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars of coverage! Sometimes it just knocks off which is very worrying especially if I’m in an area with no WiFi. I’m in Dublin City so and haven’t changed location so I don’t know what the problem is

    @geekygirldawn @virginmedia Happened at my house a few months ago. Turned out a local farmer cut the fiber with a backhoe while trying to dig a trench. They fixed it, but didn’t acknowledge the outage until after it had been resolved...

    The actual hack of Irish TV at the moment. Bridget and Eamon on RTE and the laughably appalling Darklands on Virgin Media. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as hideously bad on Irish Television.

    In #mobile news, Virgin Mobile launched a new offer of 40GB of data, unlimited 📞 & unlimited texts for just €5p/m for five months for existing Virgin Media customers & just €20p/m for non customers. All on a 30-day, SIM-only plan. Not bad!

    @virginmedia I wasn’t waiting to get through, the problem is related to communication skills, being able to listen to exactly the customer’s needs and being able to evaluate what is required, checking in with the customer to clarify needs- good listen and analysis needed

    @p_burnzzz @pauldonaldillon @irishfabian @NUJofficial @rte Agree - if they were all removed RTE would still have financial issues. If it’s like the rest of the public sector, salaries are probably 40% higher than equivalents in Virgin Media, Communicorp, etc.

    Everyone should seriously consider changing their virgin media passwords if they use it in another place (common sense really) but yall should consider finding another ISP until they finally fix this

    @virginmedia I have being doing this for the 6 months, the broadband is awful. I want to speak to a human not a robot and I don’t have time to keep holding on and going through numerous options to just be told the same thing with no resolve!

    @virginmedia 48 hours of complete loss! So I pay for something and it has to not work for 48 hours before I get compensation??? Again my Internet is still not working, this means my phone doesn't work. I am struggling to get phone signal and you are seriously restricting my ability to work.
