This time last year I was working a delivery job just to survive and pay my car insurance/mobile bill and basic food shops. Fast forward a year. Now working 2 brilliant jobs with DIY SOS and Virgin Media, which I never would've got had I quit on Irish Football Fan TV.

@VirginMediaIE why are some channels not available on my #virginmedia TV Box. For some odd reason the #FACupFinal is not available on any of the #virginmedia channels and @BBC1 is one of the channels in which the signal is down.

  • IsMiseMarcas

@OConnorOisin Bad news sells. Positive news doesn’t. RTE is almost as bad as Virgin Media when it comes to putting scary stuff in titles, and burying fact.

@marmulades oh it's very tenuous if I'm honest. mostly about keeping the ipv6 of virgin media in ds-lite ipv6 w/o breaking PlayStation Network by subbing in some nice ipv4 connectivity from digiweb. pings / routes in inex are much better for digiweb so I wfh with it too

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PGriffinFC
    Paul Griffin (@PGriffinFC) reported

Watched the awful England game on Virgin Media. Judging by my timeline, the commentary of Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon was a lot worse. They're getting a right pile on. RTE's punditry is terrible for the WC. No choice elsewhere. I have never seen analysis so bad.

  • alexanderjordan
    alexander jordan (@alexanderjordan) reported

. @virginmedia network down since Tuesday. Entirely down Tuesday, intermittent Wednesday, down again today, you keep changing the status and then advise to wait 21 hours to book an engineer, that would mean earliest visit Monday provided you don’t change the status again.

  • The_real_Jambo_
    Jambo (@The_real_Jambo_) reported

@O2 @KerZE87 O2 has went downhill since they merged with Virgin media. I constantly have issues logging into myo2 app because I use a different email address for my o2 and virgin media accounts. Constantly asked to link the accounts which I do then I cant log into the apps.

  • ColinFenn45
    Colin Fenn (@ColinFenn45) reported

@virginmedia Hi, poor signal strength is wifi only, if I am streaming on my laptop it becomes unusable, with a msg not enough bandwidth, and will last for about 15mins. The signal strength notification struggles to make any bars, and eventually clears.

  • plushchris34
    Chris (@plushchris34) reported

@virginmedia Thats another problem (still unresolved) I cant log in to my account, I get a message saying I cant log in because I dont have a passkey, then when I try to log in with a password it wont let me, if I request a new password I get stuck in a loop

  • ScepturaMelody
    Melody Lane-Hayman (@ScepturaMelody) reported

@virginmedia I realise that could of been without your control but they are still available on sky so I should of gone with sky obviously never mind I found movie channels I didn’t even realise I had as they were below the already greyed out ones that were paid for channels

  • Joeparki
    Joe Parkinson (@Joeparki) reported

@virginmedia can you confirm if broadband is down in WN3 area?

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@London_W4 The trouble is that O2 are now in bed with Virgin Media, who also have dreadful Indian 'Tech Support', who can't sort anying out and just read from scripts. Like many companies these days, if you can even find a phone number, they just give loads of messages, telling you to go to their website. The UK could do with a dose of American style customer service!!

  • Peerabeee
    TB (@Peerabeee) reported

@virginmedia I can't send direct messages right now; I've shared all the information, I don't understand why you keep asking for DMs. Please cancel my contract immediately due to the service you're failing to provide. @Ofcom #VirginMedia #Ofcom #Broadband
