@MarkPaulTimes Problem is RTE Newstalk and Virgin Media see ISAG as presenting the settled science...Don't question the assertion they repeat..."If last July we had implemented zero covid.. would need no lockdown for last 6 months"...Media see anyone against them as some sort of covid deniers

This time last year I was working a delivery job just to survive and pay my car insurance/mobile bill and basic food shops. Fast forward a year. Now working 2 brilliant jobs with DIY SOS and Virgin Media, which I never would've got had I quit on Irish Football Fan TV.

Virgin Media Ireland says it doesn’t have a “repair time frame” on a sizeable broadband outage affecting “the Dublin area”. It hopes that the undiagnosed issue will be fixed today as, “given the scale it would be very rare for this to continue for the full day”.

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK I’m so sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how hard all this is. For your info with regard to your issue - virgin media have just been fined £28m for preventing people ending their contracts. Perhaps talks to the culture internally that you are describing

  • citizen_first25

@virginmedia why have you got rid of Channel 150 that's TV does a price go down on my subscription ? As this is one of the channels, I watch every day very disappointed

  • ChrisJordan1002
    Bob (@ChrisJordan1002) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Virgin Media are unambiguously the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They had the recent ruling against them for a reason. Profit over Compassion every single time…

  • mattflack90
    Stato (@mattflack90) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia contract was up for renewal, new company offered me better terms, told Virgin im leaving, followed the rules on cancelling at end of contract. then got billed again, virgin said id signed up to a new 24mnth deal, couldnt provide evidence, had to go to the ombudsman to cancel it,

  • AlexBass08
    Alex Burton (@AlexBass08) reported

More issues with @virginmedia. My nan was out of contract and they repeatedly called with "better deals". She wanted to lower her bill but ended up paying more after being sold 500Mb broadband and Sky Cinema. She lives alone. I called back and said it felt like elder abuse. Why?

  • JuliaCoombcj
    Julia Coombs (@JuliaCoombcj) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia Unfortunately this is standard procedure. Tried to cancel Sky TV just before contract ended as price had risen, watched the date like a hawk. They advised me to take out the 2 years again and cancel on the date. Hope you never notice. Why isn’t this illegal?

  • ExCathedra44
    JS. (@ExCathedra44) reported

@virginmedia I have just installed your 360 platform. Got it working but starting this AM the set top boxes ( I have 2)do not switch on automatically and show a No signal sign.Been on to your help line for hours as thought it might be software upgrade. Manual no use.

  • Craig_Higgins
    Pazuzu (@Craig_Higgins) reported

Hey @virginmedia we've recently just renegotiated our internet with yourselves after the price became completely unaffordable but based on the news Ofcom has found you guilty of deliberately mishandling customer calls, was this an unwise move?

  • Prab188

Third time in the space of about 3 ish weeks that my WiFi has gone down again. Why are you so ******* dogshit @virginmedia??

  • _James_Jones_
    Jimmy Jones (@_James_Jones_) reported

@AdamT1875 @virginmedia Correct! I managed to use Starbucks WiFi to send the message. I reckon their own staff are also suffering with poor connections due to not responding after requesting info... they are currently arguing the toss on chat saying, you sure its not in the box? GAPING HOLE SAYS NO!
