@virginmedia Yes I hung up on that line and called again. Waited another hour and got through! Ongoing issue with landline not able to receive calls which is still with your tech support. Over 3 hours on the phone to VM yesterday - clearly need more customer service agents. 👎🏻

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • after_tastes Josh Rhodes (@after_tastes) reported

@virginmedia Login from your website/app immediately goes to timeout page. Phone number on your "thinking of leaving us" page is a wrong number (can't be dialled at least). Internet doesn't work. How can you provide a service this bad?

  • DavidSkeete3 David Skeete (@DavidSkeete3) reported

@virginmedia It's saying that there does not seem to be any issues. This still does not explain having no service yesterday and the fact that the service is forever dropping day after day after day.

  • LornaDavies62 Lorna Davies (@LornaDavies62) reported

@virginmedia Thank you for your reply. That’s good to know. I have checked on this. No one has mentioned this before. We were told we would get a call back by a manager the next day which didn’t materialise- l think your team need better training rather than fobbing off a customer

  • Jax_Dagger JaxDagger (@Jax_Dagger) reported

@virginmedia Can I not get someone to call me then? because ive already now gotten a late fee trying to sort this issue out its ridiculous, i very specifically said i wouldnt bother with the new hub if i had to pay an activation fee and they said it would be waved

  • BugsieGiven Richard Given (@BugsieGiven) reported

@0_microbear_0 @ruskin147 @virginmedia I have the same and works wonders as fail over when my main broadband stops. I use a UniFi Security Gateway (combined with a UniFi switch) to load balance so I don’t lose my session when it does a “fail-over”

  • Laura74531322 Laure (@Laura74531322) reported

@virginmedia Fair enough but I cannot afford the extra £5 a month. I think I pay enough for a poor service already and am not making myself poor.

  • Nightrain10 Nightrain (@Nightrain10) reported

@virginmedia the chat closed itself. i ran a status check on the website it says looks like your having trouble connecting to the hub

  • ABealing Andrew Bealing (@ABealing) reported

@ruskin147 @virginmedia At least you get a personal response from Virgin. More than I managed in recent days near Southampton. Can you use tethering for WiFi? No good for me as I rely on broadband for phone signal too. It needs to be reliable, it's expensive enough

  • RachelJ57015297 Rachel Jones (@RachelJ57015297) reported

Yet again @virginmedia broadband issues .checked my service status and saying no known issues ..yet I have had no connection for nearly 3 hours? I've turned off the router twice and still no connection..shocking..am I gonna get compensated for this

  • Loulafanoula Loulafanoula (@Loulafanoula) reported

@virginmedia Yes. Although I'm almost out of data trying to sort this issue!
