@griptmedia @john_mcguirk From RTE point of view cheap price...Means they never have to have John McGuirk on again for fear of libel....Newstalk and Virgin media can use the same excuse....

@virginmedia if you are going to buy the rights to an international sporting tournament,at least have your online player be able to stream a decent quality. What is this? 480p? 720p?You're a god damn Internet service provider! This stream looks like Minecraft graphics! #6nations

@John_B_Stewart @British_Airways Having worked in Support for 25 years, unfortunately I know all of the maths. Outsourcer gives good price, undestaffs, survives QBRs with client. Company saves, customer and call agents are all in hell. See also: NTL/Virgin Media and all iterations thereof.

@leekpee @Gojairu Man they pretend to be professionals but they are not they hate our success they hate not being part of any success they hate losing all the time. You think BT is bad! I watch the match on virgin media, you would think City wasn't even playing.

  • darkdiver
Dave Kerr (@darkdiver) reported from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Leinster

@Dublin_Suzy @MaiaDunphy @VodafoneIreland Only if you're switching provider on the same network - if switching to/from Virgin Media to eir/sky/Vodafone/Pure you might need to cancel with your existing provider too - so always check just to be sure (there are a total of 7 networks and more providers)

@theashrb It isn’t at all and they’ll still think they can get away with it. The government should intervene in this matter to ensure that all public goods cannot outsource their customer service. A few months ago, I had a horrible call with virgin media after my contract finished

  • unia_x
    unia (@unia_x) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia Hartlepool, Swindon, Reading - 3 places where I know for a fact a VM connection has packet loss. They’re selling a broken service and are getting away with it.

  • _James_Jones_
    Jimmy Jones (@_James_Jones_) reported

@AdamT1875 @virginmedia Correct! I managed to use Starbucks WiFi to send the message. I reckon their own staff are also suffering with poor connections due to not responding after requesting info... they are currently arguing the toss on chat saying, you sure its not in the box? GAPING HOLE SAYS NO!

  • DoctorDisco63
    Owen Luckhurst (@DoctorDisco63) reported

@MartinSLewis @MartinSLewis hearing about Virgin Media today I’m not surprised. They did the same to me around 2020, except they lied to me about my cancellation date. By the time I called to cancel, they said it was too late. So I disconnected everything and didn’t pay them a penny more.

  • stuzig
    Stewart Hunt (@stuzig) reported

@virginmedia why is my Internet and TV cutting out several times a day, every day? Was told it would be fixed and to call back if still having problems and now completely unable to get through to anyone. This is not acceptable service
