The actual hack of Irish TV at the moment. Bridget and Eamon on RTE and the laughably appalling Darklands on Virgin Media. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything as hideously bad on Irish Television.

I will never, as long as I live, use Virgin Media or indeed anything related to that horrible brand. Have been treated appallingly by Virgin Media Ireland. Cancelled a service of theirs only to be billed for 3 successive months *and* receive a threatening letter.

@geekygirldawn @virginmedia Happened at my house a few months ago. Turned out a local farmer cut the fiber with a backhoe while trying to dig a trench. They fixed it, but didn’t acknowledge the outage until after it had been resolved...

@simonrim @virginmedia You wait for the actual service and dealing with support when you get cut off unexpectedly! Worst mistake I ever made going with them, ended up with no service for a month and eventually changed provider for half the price and more reliable.

@VirginMediaIE Since moving to virgin media I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 bars of coverage! Sometimes it just knocks off which is very worrying especially if I’m in an area with no WiFi. I’m in Dublin City so and haven’t changed location so I don’t know what the problem is

@p_burnzzz @pauldonaldillon @irishfabian @NUJofficial @rte Agree - if they were all removed RTE would still have financial issues. If it’s like the rest of the public sector, salaries are probably 40% higher than equivalents in Virgin Media, Communicorp, etc.

@virginmedia The initial was during the wait and one of your twitter team. Took to a direct live chat. Offered compensation and written apology. Credit couldn't be given until first bill and new account live. Then no credit given and had to raise new complaint via live chat on website

So @virginmedia , you literally suck. Delayed install costing me earnings. Over 20 days late on 2 days notice. Promised compensation and written apology direct from live chat twitter team. Conversation "Lost" another complaint filed. No credit given & that's it.
