@John_B_Stewart @British_Airways Having worked in Support for 25 years, unfortunately I know all of the maths. Outsourcer gives good price, undestaffs, survives QBRs with client. Company saves, customer and call agents are all in hell. See also: NTL/Virgin Media and all iterations thereof.

@donie At midnight CNN went blank. Apparently Virgin Media, my network, has lost their contract to show CNN. I'll miss you Donie, and all the other presenters and correspondents. Have to consider moving to Sky, but I've resisted that move for years. 🖐🖐🇮🇪

@MarkPaulTimes Problem is RTE Newstalk and Virgin Media see ISAG as presenting the settled science...Don't question the assertion they repeat..."If last July we had implemented zero covid.. would need no lockdown for last 6 months"...Media see anyone against them as some sort of covid deniers

  • RobertMoloney13
Robert Moloney (@RobertMoloney13) reported from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, Leinster

@SkyHelpIreland @SkyIreland My skybox is dead and the AI wants me to pay for an engineer. No. I am paying for a service that I am not receiving. So either Sky replaces the box or refunds me for a service I am no longer getting and I can move to my broadband provider virgin media

  • finto182
Finto182🇮🇪 (@finto182) reported from Firhouse, Leinster

@BlodAxeMox @ItsRusherr I had a similar issue about 18 months ago and it was actually Virgin Media at fault! Congestion on line and old splitters coming from the box on the street into my apartment! Might be worth a call to the ISP rush! For me it was timeouts on the line causing it .

  • IrelandPhoto
Tomás 🇮🇪🏴‍☠️🇺🇦🇵🇸 (@IrelandPhoto) reported from Firhouse, Leinster

This time last year I was working a delivery job just to survive and pay my car insurance/mobile bill and basic food shops. Fast forward a year. Now working to brilliant jobs with DIY SOS and Virgin Media, which I never would've got had I quit on Irish Football Fan TV.

@MachineGunLuk3y @virginmedia Majority’s of the ISP’s in my area run off the BT network so I’ve got fibre to the property with about 1GB down. I’ve had Virgin before and didn’t rate it, had issues similar to yourself as well mate.

  • KP_1886
    KP (@KP_1886) reported

@virginmedia Your broadband outages are absolutely unforgivable. We’re paying good money for your internet only to be denied the ability to do our jobs because we have no WiFi. The fix date keeps changing. It’s not improving. Yet we’re still paying. What are you doing about this?

  • davidclbyrne

No work phone for 3 weeks, Over 20 calls to “Customer Service”, AI that doesn’t work, Technical support that doesn’t work, Incompetence at a level impossible to describe, And no call back since Monday. I’ve had same number for 32 years-until I went to @virginmedia

@Pugsie1960 @flyabout7 Honestly what is it with these people? If they're not hacking your X or FB account they're sending scam emails. When that doesn't work they phone and tell you they're Henry from Virgin Media and your Internet is down. To quote Jim Royle Henry my a**e xxx
