@virginmedia I spoke to an advisor called Gillian from Sheffield and she escalated my numerous complaints on Saturday. Promised a manager call crack but I got nothing . It’s getting to the stage that the best course of action would be to cancel the lot but that won’t get my landline back

Are companies hiding behind the #dataprotection act because of poor ill thought out protocols? I've just experienced this trying to sort out no phone service for my Mother trying to get them to test the line for her panic alarm! @virginmedia get your act together!

@virginmedia Thanks for getting back to me! I saw the link to the status checker in your reply to someone else, ran it and somehow fixed it. Still a mystery as to why it went off suddenly but good to know I can get help with a tweet!

@virginmedia You couldn't make this incompetence up - had another call, chasing 2 mths costs for a phone not used in over 2 yrs, unable to cancel via website or previous Twitter conversation, and then cuts me off. It's a mthly sim only, if I don't use it don't charge me - simples.

Imagine your internet going off at 2 minutes past the hour every single hour like clockwork and having to listen to Virgin Media play crap pop music down the phone for 30 minutes to probably not even fix it. 🙄

@virginmedia I have not been able to use my internet for the majority of our contract. I contacted you multiple times to be advised to pay an additional £5 per month for a better service to now find I am being charged £56?! I am in my cooling off period and i wish to CANCEL.

@virginmedia I have tried that text service for the last two days. ‘Terri BOT’ is no use. I need to speak to a real person . All that needs doing is the issue of a new bill without the £35 activation fee. This is becoming the worst decision I’ve ever made in relation to switching broadband

@virginmedia hi - I have a sim only mobile contract that's not been used for at least 18mths. I've stopped the DD as I'm unable to simply cancel via website and the number quoted to call doesn't work. I've got nowhere to go with this problem now.

@virginmedia I finally got through to a real person via text today and booked a landline appointment, although It’s not the anytime plan that I wanted . Never had so much trouble switching provider. Almost not worth it.

@virginmedia We don’t use any wired connection. So no device is connected via lan cable to the virgin router. In the study with open doors, I cannot get a stable signal to the original wifi, it appears only sometimes.

@virginmedia I submitted a complaint to @CISASUK and you agreed to issue £200 compensation by cheque (ridiculous that you’re still using cheques) within 21 working days “due to the current ongoing situation”. That was 07/07. Why hasn’t this been actioned yet?
-
Urban Kaos

@virginmedia No, there was an Open Reach van at the top of the street today but not sure if thats to do with Virgin, also i’ve had this issue now for weeks and i’m fed up of resetting the Hub3 and reconnecting 35 devices every time! may be an issue with the box in the street?

Hey @virginmedia just spoken to your wifi support desk and never had such useless and rude service from a company before. Absolutely disgusting and issues still nowhere near being fixed. Terrible customer service. @TravelodgeUK you really need to pick a better supplier.

@virginmedia But it’s not a new account it’s a change of address. It’s still a monthly service which I’ve paid for. Surely it should just continue as 27 per month apart from the additional £20 admin which would be £47 for that one month only? What am I missing?

@virginmedia Do me a favour please? Get some better staff on your technical support team please, I asked someone to check if a port was being blocked your end because it just stopped working and they say you don't block ports!! It worked one day and now it doesn't!!!

@virginmedia Well done. My premier inn which uses your services (Sandown in IOW), had an outage for the past few days. It doesn’t really help that you can’t get that good of a service in a place like that.
