@virginmedia My mum and dad are having issues with you guys. The broadband has been very slow yet they pay for 350, the upload speed is half the download which says it all. A technician came out and tried to install a new TiVo box, they have been charged £30 even though he didn’t

@gm8arv @2m0sql @M0VGA @SOTAbeams @TalkTalk @virginmedia The VM system I have here causes no problems from DC to 23cm (as high as I go currently) the only issue I had was when I tried using a mains data network from Argos and it destroyed 6m. Scrapped once identified.

@virginmedia They have not even acknowledged my complaint. Not even a “we are looking into this “ the only replies I’ve had have been your platitudes.

@virginmedia Then you can continue imagining how disappointed I am and look forward to my cancelling your contract at the 1st available opportunity. I, on the other hand, can only imagine that your competitors enjoy your customer service standards far more than I have.

@Louise4Mh @virginmedia You wait till they try and rip you off by allowing reverse unsolicited text messages to your devices and charge you a £1 a message for a message never sent or received. Criminal.

@virginmedia Doing it again tonight! It’s like 5pm comes and all speed disappears, tonight both download and upload are impacted! Throttling I understand for network reasons but there’s something else happening here

@virginmedia There is no fault listed on the website yet when we call we get an automated message saying there's been problems in our area, we can't even use the internet due to the connection being awful

@virginmedia Oh see, it’s up to me to chase you is it. I hadn’t realised that the delay in you contacting me was all my fault. I’ve logged my complaint (48 hours now) and still heard nothing back. Good to see Ofcom are on the ball.

@virginmedia This could not have happened at a worse time for me. I'm happy to make them cups of tea if they fix the fault a little sooner.

@virginmedia What would be really good is if you send out a message to your customers telling them there is an issue rather than leaving it to them to find out that they cannot use your services.

@virginmedia There is no issue in the area as neighbours with virgin are using the service without problem. What should I do to resolve the service

@virginmedia terrible customer service, my box is overheating, has done for around 2 days, we have to switch the box of for 5-6 hours then it comes back on, according to customer services nothing can be done until it happens again, then they will look at it. What a shambles

@virginmedia I repeat. I have made my complaint through your website, the bit where it says “make a complaint”. Perhaps you could explain why I need to make the same complaint twice. I take no joy from discussing this on an open forum either, I want a response from someone who can help.

@virginmedia I just want to report an open cabinet on my street, and it's hard work, I don't want to sign up to your "community" as I have tried now twice and had to do the damn not a robot thing both times which takes ages and it says my email is not valid

-
Ben Fraser
(@BenMFraser) reported
@virginmedia Surely it's cheaper just to post a new Hub? Instead you're sending an engineer, compensating me for lack of service, and leaving a dissatisfied customer. Do the maths, tell me I'm wrong. @bt_uk what would you do?

@Mcollinson72 @virginmedia I’ve been having the same issues! Absolutely rubbish service. Looking to cancel and go with Sky!
-
Vicky Mew

@virginmedia You have increased my package from £45 a month to £75 as I am at the end of my contract. If I hadn’t called today to negotiate it to £59 you would be charging me £75 when a brand new customer can have the EXACT same package for £39. You are only helping virgins profits not me!

Have had the most appalling service from @vmbusiness upgraded to the higher speed broadband on Monday, no service and now phone lines turned off since… have a business to run from home and no service just an excuse the cable is damaged until 28th November, terrible service!!!
-

@virginmedia I don’t understand your status updates on the website it’s different. When I put my postcode is says everything’s fine then when I select test my hub it still shows issues. The SMS text updates is always delayed as well. Why are us customers not getting adequate updates!?

@virginmedia So what your saying is your doing the minimum required by the regulator, and failing your vulnerable customers. As previously stated VM will be mentioned in courts when people are pressing their emergency assist numbers and get a VM message saying their call can’t be connected!
