@gaythorpe @virginmedia It's been down all down for me too, all you have to do is scroll down the tweets and replies and it's clear virgin media are having problems across the UK, they haven't seemed to acknowledge the fact and keep copy and pasting the same replies to everyone.

@virginmedia The usual - a simple issue turned into a frustrating time wasting exercise. Needed to ask a question, took over 24 hours of random delays to finally get to ask it, all sorted 5 minutes later. Thankfully it confirmed I'll no longer be a customer in 2 weeks. So a happy ending.

@virginmedia Well you said you can't help on here yesterday and the number you gave me is a robot reply system, and to be honest BT can get-out on Monday and provide service I've contacted the ombudsman and they say I'm due compensation because of missed appointments and waiting 6weeks soooo.

@virginmedia Best part is Business customers aren’t owed anything unless the service can’t be resumed within 48 hours of Virgin acknowledging there’s a problem, so they don’t acknowledge it until the very last minute My last outage was 47 hours, it would be funny if I didn’t work from home
