@virginmedia terrible customer service, my box is overheating, has done for around 2 days, we have to switch the box of for 5-6 hours then it comes back on, according to customer services nothing can be done until it happens again, then they will look at it. What a shambles

@gm8arv @2m0sql @M0VGA @SOTAbeams @TalkTalk @virginmedia The VM system I have here causes no problems from DC to 23cm (as high as I go currently) the only issue I had was when I tried using a mains data network from Argos and it destroyed 6m. Scrapped once identified.

@virginmedia Thanks for the reply. On both occasions there's apparently been no issues, and none shown again this morning. It's more the fact that even though it happened twice in a week, and having waited on hold for 30min each time, I just get told to call back if it happens again.

@virginmedia Yes I have contacted Virginmedia a couple of times. It looks like there is a problem in Nottingham NG16 area again. This is a common issue. Disconnections and lack of a quality service.

@RobBooth96 @alexh882 @virginmedia Everything was fine until we upgraded to Virgin 360. We have the same box just a software upgrade so definitely not a hardware issue. Tried many work arounds, optical cable, fiddling with the settings and even have a new 4k TV. I cannot use my Sony sound bar at all. Gutted

@virginmedia Wired is fine and seems to work well, just the WiFi is bad, and every time I have an issue then you send a new hub 3 and it works OK for about a month and then the WiFi just gets really bad

Virgin broadband fiber down & using a mobile hotspot 😞 Reported it to @virginmedia & instead of dealing with it, they used the opp to try to sell me a data sim card for £12month 'to be prepared for times like these'. My home phone is connected to my router so that is down aswell
