@virginmedia You’re missing the point. The process needs to be simplified. Through sheer persistence I’ve managed to finally book a technician. I got directed back to self help at every turn, which was no use. You need to look after your customers better who pay a lot for the service.

@virginmedia Thanks. I just looked and your site actually says “in areas where there’s no mobile coverage, our Emergency Backup Line won’t work”. That only reinforces my concern: if a major power outage or a storm affects the local mobile mast(s), there will be no longer be a way for anybody
