@virginmedia If 8 of your operators and an engineer cannot fix my Virgin Broadband I dont think the forum is going to do a lot unless they come to my house and repair it

  • NikkiPearman Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia That’s my problem. I can’t get to speak to a person and your automated system doesn’t allow me to discuss the issue properly.

  • Dog_in_a_hat Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia So let’s think about this, I have a hub, it’s in one room, I have numerous appliances which run of Wifi, which are portable ie can be used everywhere, but you feel I should only use wired device! Not really selling your service well are you!

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Thurmaston, England

@virginmedia I rang Virgin again after work, redirected to technical advise, done some things from his end and he said it would settle down and be just fine .... the internet is dropping off just the same, no improvement

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia Nothing that springs to mine, but ive never known it to constantly drop off, some of the reasons the operators are giving me are silly and I told the lady it was rubbish.. im sorry but I am fed up of ringing every day and getting nowhere. I think i will have to move broadband

  • NikkiPearman Nikki Pearman 💙 (@NikkiPearman) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia I have an issue with my wifi signal being weak upstairs - until last 2 mths it was perfectly fine. However it’s impossible to speak with anyone - I don’t want the automated system or a broadband check as service is fine it’s just range. Unhappy customer

  • dergal Gerry White SEO geek (@dergal) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

    @virginmedia I tried - I assume it doesn't work on a mobile!?

  • yogi7592 Yv (@yogi7592) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia been on live chat hold for nearly 30 minutes and it’s still saying 45 minutes wait as it did at the start. Not very good customer service since pandemic.

  • NimeshDave7 Nimfresh.exe (@NimeshDave7) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia @vmbusiness why does my RTC internet connection disconnect every hour and connect 10 seconds later? It’s been happening for weeks, every hour it will go down for 10 seconds then reconnect??!?!? It’s problematic for my work!

  • rachlb33 Rachel Biddles (@rachlb33) reported from Glenfield, England

Always good when @virginmedia take your internet down on a Friday to ‘improve the service’ without any warning, when you’re working from home!

  • dergal Gerry White SEO geek (@dergal) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

@virginmedia helping out my 74 year old mother, when she resigned with you at Christmas, you also promised to send out a new V6 box, it never arrived, I chased this up and then you sent an older TiVo box. I spoke to the guy and he told me they're the same !?

  • lizdixon77 Liz (@lizdixon77) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia Have done it both ways. It isn’t just the speed it is dropping out completely for long periods of time and the staff in your call centres are if no help unless you want to buy a new service and you do not get promised calls back.

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Loughborough, England

@virginmedia The other issue your engineer was in yesterday surely he would have checked these things out ? Personally i dont think he was very experienced or didnt know how to do his job properly.

  • Dog_in_a_hat Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia Why would I run a wired speed test when I have no wired appliances? I pay for a wifi service...

  • faizalmom Faizal Momoniat (@faizalmom) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia rang up yesterday for disconnecting phone & broadband very bad attitude from the lady i spoke too from the beginning off the call when i first said hello.

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Thurmaston, England

Broadband has been failing since Sunday, phoned Virgin Media at least 6 times ! Engineer came today said he had fixed it, hour later exactly the same problem. Very poor service and they say I should use broadband less

  • jnlangton joseph langton (@jnlangton) reported from Braunstone, England

@timofnewbury @virginmedia there is an outage here in middle england 16:00 ETR

  • red_dog14 Steve Barlow (@red_dog14) reported from West Bridgford, England

@dannyboy71 @skytv Good luck with that Dan @virginmedia without doubt the worse company I’ve ever had to deal with. Absolute shambles of a company who don’t give a flying toss about customer service. Can’t even be arsed to respond even if u put a complaint in writing.

  • breadf2man Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Thurmaston, England

@virginmedia It said Internet not working and to stick cables in which I did and then it said it was fixed like magic but its not ... still not working

  • Dog_in_a_hat Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England

@grayomtb @plusnethelp These broadband providers should be made to repay people for such poor service... I have constant issues with @virginmedia ...

@virginmedia No complaint reference, no reply.

  • Mr_Saurabh_Rana Saurabh Rana (@Mr_Saurabh_Rana) reported

@virginmedia Do I need to explain my problem with every tweet? And what is the use of Virginmedia tweeter handle, when you can not handle anything? #virginmediadown

  • AaronPStephens Ä-Ron ⚒ (@AaronPStephens) reported

@virginmedia @zoebartlett They’re terrible, refused to honour my deal, diddled me out of about £200 worth of benefits. I had to take them to their ombudsman and ended up getting about £75 out of them

  • zoebartlett Zoe Bartlett (@zoebartlett) reported

@Falco_ALF Even that doesn’t work. They just don’t give a ****. The guy I actually got though to @virginmedia who couldn’t deal with my query and promised the call back, said “yes we do look after new customers over old!” That’s the way it is #Shocked 22 years I’ve been with them

  • kirac_98 Kira (@kirac_98) reported

@virginmedia Terrible. You're minimum speeds look to be a long way off seeing as I can't even connect to Ookla.

  • Liam88714344 Fight Milk (@Liam88714344) reported

@virginmedia It is now back on, experienced the whole of yesterday without it on and this is worse as we have people working from home here, we pay a lot for your service so I would hope there would be some sort of compensation

  • omarinthought Omar Butt (@omarinthought) reported

@virginmedia Is your community held to a service guarantee? What part of the £60 a month I pay is going to pay their salary? Why is speaking with a company who take money from me for the provision of a service not willing to provide any service other than tweet?

  • Sweee42 Sue Lockwood 💙 (@Sweee42) reported

@virginmedia It’s ok at the minute but it’s only a matter of time until it happens again. The signal seems to drop out and then I have to reboot. Don’t mind once in a while but not several times just to get through a film!

  • clintskeeey Clint (@clintskeeey) reported

    @virginmedia Website live help

  • Jon_Tom75 Jon_Tom (@Jon_Tom75) reported

@virginmedia So basically you are trying to twist the truth by saying all your current services are essential when it's a fact they are not. Installing a TV box for a new or existing customer is non essential yet you still do it for new ones. Fine when it suits you !!
