@simonnread @virginmedia I'm having the same issue. For the period of lockdown I could broadly rely on the signal to my home office. The last 2/3 months I haven't and I am constantly having to tether my mobile at my expense. The router hasn't moved and neither has my office. The service has just worsened

@Jake_BHughes @virginmedia apparently we have a blockage where they need to connect us, which is what we would need fixing by thursday. being that unreliable we decided to cancel everything with them fully. a shame because what they offered was great. customer service department is not easy to get round 😭

@Jake_BHughes @virginmedia we had similar issue. they came when we were on holiday, no communication. we rang, were told they were coming yesterday to connect us, they didn’t arrive. told they’re coming today, didn’t arrive. spent 2 hours on the phone cancelling and was hung up on 3 times.

FINALLY!!! After raising a serious complaint with @virginmedia with the prospect of the ombudsman getting involved... They've finally got my services up and running Now all that remains is for them to sort out some compensation and then we can pretend this never happened

@virginmedia 5 days no internet, promises of 24 hours it will be running, then told a little maintenance, yesterday at 9:30am we were told in 9 hours you will get a call guaranteed (didn’t happen). All day today no work has got done! Poor internet for years and now none!! WTH!!

I’ve been a @virginmedia customer for YEARS. Fred on the phone suggested that I plug my laptop in via Ethernet cable, if I’m having internet problems. I can’t sit on my stairs for 8 hours, for my working day! Virgin have sent me new routers in the past, why not now? ….

@virginmedia They didn’t. I had issues a few weeks ago, and again today. I can’t be offline for hours during my working day. I minute lots of meetings (often back to back). The internet cutting out is a huge problem. I can’t let the people in work down like that. I need to log the meetings

@virginmedia What a surprise still no internet and no phone since Wednesday. This is unacceptable and you should be sacked. As you are failing to deliver a service we should be able to move to a supplier that can provide this service and not just hang around waiting for you to sort!! #lastleg
