Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England@virginmedia The text service is a bot so doesn’t understand what I want. I don’t understand how posting on a community forum will help me order wifi pods. I’ve posted but just get replies from other members. I want to be able to contact someone at Virgin not other customers.
-
Safetypenfold (@SteveRiches4) reported from Leicestershire, England@virginmedia No. I’m done with text, on line and anything except talking to someone. You’ve had the opportunity using the bot, Twitter and online support, now we need to communicate in person. #realpeople
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Tigol (@bigoltiddies) reported@JU51LNS @TalkTalk It was never YOUR email, it belonged to TalkTalk and they simply rented it to you as a perk of being subscribed to their service. You've cancelled or are cancelling so they're no longer giving you a free email and instead asking you to pay. BT does/did the same. As did/does Sky. Virginmedia just straight delete the email address after 90 days. You're making a deal out of nothing. Pay the fiver a month and use the time to port out valuable emails by forwarding them to your other email then when you're confident you've got it all transferred, cancel the payment.
-
CymroGlyn 🏳️🌈🏴🏉🍾♿️ (@cymroglyn) reported@virginmedia You should be keeping an eye out for this sort of criminal activity, creates profiles for most large UK companies so they can reply to any complaints and get the customer to download software so they can compensation…and rob them. Report them to X
-
Joel Sheppard (@joelshepp) reported@virginmedia @bobbyfriction Don't send a private message Bobby - have the conversation in the public domain so every current and potential customer can see how useless Virgin Media are.
-
Martinayres65@outloo (@Martinayres65o1) reported@virginmedia My complaint has been ongoing and so far you have failed to address it. I have your handler my complaint ref no and he promised I would receive a call back from a manager at 3:00pm. As usual your managers fail to ring back.

Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia Whereabouts are you out of interest? My daughter is working from home today at our house and says Virgin broadband has packed up. I'm in hospital for a few days so out of touch but wondering if problems are localised or nationwide. Thanks!
-
Joel Sheppard (@joelshepp) reported@virginmedia How do I stop the constant messages telling me to upgrade to a diabolical 360 box (which I will never do)?
-
Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia I've done a postcode check and it says intermittent problems. My daughter says if it doesn't improve she can go back to her flat as it isn't too far away. We are in London. We signed up for virgin party as they were to pay £50 incentive to use & my father for both of us signing
-
Peter Carr (@PeterCa35536841) reported@djspeedy34 @virginmedia Don't, I did it 2 months ago & now lose wifi every night from 10pm until 6am. 4 engineers checked the issues, still there

Spamhaus (@spamhaus) reported@orange 151.217.0.0/16 AS62016 AS198198 AS42987 AS22879 AS199524 AS62016: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS198198: Telefonica Global Solutions 🇪🇸 AS42987: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS22879: Sirus, Inc 🇺🇸 AS199524: Gcore 🇳🇱 Location is Chicago. However, this case is slightly different. 151.217.0.0/16 is a "bogon", which means the network is not assigned to anyone at this time (and so nobody should be using it). After the first announcement, new (presumably fake) carriers were inserted into the BGP path as a decoy. The general modus operandi suggests that this is the same gang in action

BH (@Welshyyyyy) reported@keithapearson @virginmedia Couldn't agree more, awful company to deal with
