Liz (@lizdixon77) reported from Mountsorrel, England@virginmedia Have done it both ways. It isn’t just the speed it is dropping out completely for long periods of time and the staff in your call centres are if no help unless you want to buy a new service and you do not get promised calls back.
-
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England@virginmedia Thanks. The text service doesn’t work well to say the least. How do I post a question on the community to get an order placed please?
-
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England@virginmedia Always seems to come back after a router reboot. Maybe you could send me a new one, see if that resolves the issue?
-
Liz (@lizdixon77) reported from Mountsorrel, England@virginmedia constant problems with broadband over past few weeks, still not up to 500mb speed I should be. Calls to your call centre are pointless and no promised calls back received!

-
smallpauldj (@SmallPaulDJ) reported from Leicestershire, England@virginmedia I'm paying over 50 pounds just for 100mg broadband already! Why can a new customer get TV etc to for just 30? Conveniently the phone lines all seem off.
-
NoGuyTest (@NoGuyTest786) reported from West Bridgford, England@virginmedia @virginhelp any help with this yet?
-
helen (@helen6253) reported from West Bridgford, England@virginmedia @BBCBreaking Is there a complete outage of Virgin Media email. All customers unable to get in? I have rung the call centre and have been given up to 48 hours for a fix!
-
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England@virginmedia The text service is a bot so doesn’t understand what I want. I don’t understand how posting on a community forum will help me order wifi pods. I’ve posted but just get replies from other members. I want to be able to contact someone at Virgin not other customers.
-
jennie walsh (@W4lshy_85) reported from Chadwell, England@virginmedia once again absolute outstanding useless customer care 👌🏻 #virginmedia #gotosky 👍🏼
-
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England@virginmedia The reboot only works until it goes down again so it doesn’t really ‘work’. Anyway, I spent 40 minutes on the phone yesterday and they’re sending me a new router, hopefully that will sort the problem out. Cheers
-
paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England@virginmedia Yes, your phone operators speak poor English and you have closed your shops so I can no longer go in and physically hold a phone!
-
Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England@virginmedia Why would I run a wired speed test when I have no wired appliances? I pay for a wifi service...
-
Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England@virginmedia I’ve had to call you in the past week 150 & you had to reset the router ... I shouldn’t need to do this! It’s your responsibility to ensure I have the service I pay (a lot) for!!!
-
Richard Adams (@Pogit) reported from Chadwell, England@virginmedia @VMO2News please with pay for someone capable to fix your custom super hub firmware or get rid of it! Hub5 won’t release IP addressed and your middle ware completely messes up Wi-Fi naming and password changes (even the first use one which isn’t even a change)
-
Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England@virginmedia So let’s think about this, I have a hub, it’s in one room, I have numerous appliances which run of Wifi, which are portable ie can be used everywhere, but you feel I should only use wired device! Not really selling your service well are you!

-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@Oldbloke74 @virginmedia I have to admit the bloke on the call centre helpline was really nice and helpful but the problem was he seems to just have been making up stuff to make me happy with what I heard as what he said and what has actually happened aren't even close to being in the same postcode 😢
-
Calvin Isaac (@Ca1vin1saac) reportedHi @virginmedia — there’s no internet at my home in Derby,UK. I’ve already restarted the router but still no connection. Can you please check if there’s an outage or help resolve this ASAP? Thanks!
-
Jason Caine Smith (@jasoncainesmith) reported@VirginMedia No response on X or WhatsApp after hours. Cannot get through by phone due to your system issue. -
CrankyGeek (@pepetideo) reported from Oxford, England@virginmedia @FuzziePieRat Yes.. And how ****** up is it that you treat your existing paying customers so badly they have to attempt to do these hacks to get what you are freely giving away to new customers?
-
Spamhaus (@spamhaus) reported@orange 151.217.0.0/16 AS62016 AS198198 AS42987 AS22879 AS199524 AS62016: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS198198: Telefonica Global Solutions 🇪🇸 AS42987: Virgin Media 🇬🇧 AS22879: Sirus, Inc 🇺🇸 AS199524: Gcore 🇳🇱 Location is Chicago. However, this case is slightly different. 151.217.0.0/16 is a "bogon", which means the network is not assigned to anyone at this time (and so nobody should be using it). After the first announcement, new (presumably fake) carriers were inserted into the BGP path as a decoy. The general modus operandi suggests that this is the same gang in action
-
Matthew Belcher (@rinnerville) reported@youfibre so leave virgin media cos they were crap and now you guys have sold out to them. Time to look for a new supplier.
-
Daniel Taylor (@DanAaronTaylor) reported@virginmedia VM/O2 account locked for security reasons. Spoke with someone on chat who requested it be unlocked within 5 days. This never happened. Called and asked again for my account to be unlocked. Again told this would be done. Hasn’t. Can this be escalated? I need access.
-
