  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia The text service is a bot so doesn’t understand what I want. I don’t understand how posting on a community forum will help me order wifi pods. I’ve posted but just get replies from other members. I want to be able to contact someone at Virgin not other customers.

  • B17AL
bilal manzoor (@B17AL) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia what’s going on today, how do I contact the customer number 0345 454 1111 or 150 just rings out and then ends the call?

@om_riff @RICHEYHELL We have **** all 4g coverage here too unless you stand in the front bedroom with your arm out the window. Our virgin media is either on & working well or down for half a day while they 'upgrade the network' 🤔

@virginmedia Forget it. Totally useless all round. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. What’s the point having a social media team?!

  • robhollanduk
Rob Holland ⚽️ ☮️ (@robhollanduk) reported from West Bridgford, England

@Walpie27 By being an O2/Virgin Media customer. Statement yesterday said lots of tickets held back for general sale, but after the O2 Priority app & website crashed I’m not holding hope of getting tickets. In the past I’d have queued at the arena but the box office isn’t opening tomorrow

  • paulwitneyphoto
paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia Adding my wife's phone to the internet/tv package which should include 1, 5G phone, you need to get your customer service sorted out and people who speak English to a higher standard or better still have English speaker #dissatisfiedcustomer with @virginmedia

  • ChrisMaltby
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Always seems to come back after a router reboot. Maybe you could send me a new one, see if that resolves the issue?

  • breadf2man
Fazal Rehman (@breadf2man) reported from Thurmaston, England

@virginmedia If 8 of your operators and an engineer cannot fix my Virgin Broadband I dont think the forum is going to do a lot unless they come to my house and repair it

  • Dr_Stav
Dr Alex Stavrinides (@Dr_Stav) reported from West Bridgford, England

Customer Services via @WhatsApp is just appalling. Looking at you @virginmedia. Feels like I've wasted hours trying to sort out a contract, one bot message at a time.

  • SmallPaulDJ
smallpauldj (@SmallPaulDJ) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia I'm paying over 50 pounds just for 100mg broadband already! Why can a new customer get TV etc to for just 30? Conveniently the phone lines all seem off.

  • ChrisMaltby
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia PC is Ethernet into Superhub3 but laptop is WiFi. It’s broadband going down completely not just WiFi. This has been ongoing for several weeks albeit not this bad. Kind of lived with it until today

@Ofcom Well done Ofcom! Anyone still trading with @virginmedia needs to change now! I was a loyal Customer for over 10 years, still fighting unlawful charges for moving house, can’t speak to anyone to resolve, black mark on your name for paying your bills!! Cowboys

@Ofcom In other words @Ofcom are informing us about their systematic failings in curbing the systematic failings of criminal cartel that is "Virgin Media" who make BILLIONS by charging extortionate prices and providing s#!t service what a "regulator" you are @Ofcom 🤡

  • RobStokes1965

  • pirate1100
    Pirate (@pirate1100) reported

@MartinSLewis Virgin Media are terrible, I had the phone package removed years ago as they kept billing me for calls I hadn’t made. If you don’t renew broadband contract they charge you extortionate fees. Terrible company.

  • woke_leftie
    Moto Moto (@woke_leftie) reported

@Channel4News @virginmedia are the worst, their call centre staff don't offer real help, they're hell bent on upselling u **** ,u dont need or upgrading ur package. I feel sorry for the older people who use virgin , they probably get hammered

  • grahamhill1
    Graham Hill (@grahamhill1) reported

@MartinSLewis Virgin Media were terrible to deal with when I had a contract with them, terrible customer service up until I quit - only then did I get to talk to someone in charge. I still quit and signed up to @sky

  • LYCOICAT
    Mila (@LYCOICAT) reported

@virginmedia since you’ve merged with o2 there service has spoiled and causing me immense distress you didn’t read my dm

  • Bowtomephil
    Phil (@Bowtomephil) reported

@Stsantek @virginmedia The worst of it is that the 28m fine will not be distributed to all those it affected. OFCOM will use it to pay their CEO etc a large bonus.

  • LRNA11
    LaurenA (@LRNA11) reported

@MartinSLewis Another major issue with Virgin Media (and possibly other similar providers) is that they don’t provide customers an option for “No Roll-on” at the end of the contract. Their reminders are puny and twice I got caught with paying almost double monthly rates after contract. 1/
