@virginmedia @BBCBreaking Is there a complete outage of Virgin Media email. All customers unable to get in? I have rung the call centre and have been given up to 48 hours for a fix!

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia The text service is a bot so doesn’t understand what I want. I don’t understand how posting on a community forum will help me order wifi pods. I’ve posted but just get replies from other members. I want to be able to contact someone at Virgin not other customers.

  • ChrisMaltby
Chris Maltby (@ChrisMaltby) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Always seems to come back after a router reboot. Maybe you could send me a new one, see if that resolves the issue?

@Walpie27 By being an O2/Virgin Media customer. Statement yesterday said lots of tickets held back for general sale, but after the O2 Priority app & website crashed I’m not holding hope of getting tickets. In the past I’d have queued at the arena but the box office isn’t opening tomorrow

  • SteveRiches4
Safetypenfold (@SteveRiches4) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia Still not working, still no contact from #virginmedia. If still no contact tomorrow, will have to change supplier in time for Christmas. Can you help?

  • NoGuyTest786
NoGuyTest (@NoGuyTest786) reported from West Bridgford, England

@virginmedia Just spent 30 minutes on this text bot and it's very frustrating, they have only just taken my details from me after 30 minutes and can only communicate by sms which is useless, I'd rather wait on a phone line, shocking service, also the English is bad

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia Thanks. The text service doesn’t work well to say the least. How do I post a question on the community to get an order placed please?

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia I just never get anywhere, constantly going around in circles and no one seems capable or willing to help. The broadband kit provided isn’t fit for purpose considering how much I pay for it.

  • worksopchap
worksopchap (@worksopchap) reported from Chadwell, England

@virginmedia I can’t find the last message where this thread started - I’ll go to the bot system - I’m a returning customer - need to reactivate my account etc

  • jonathansc
Jonathan SC ن Esq. (@jonathansc) reported from Wilford, England

@virginmedia Because you never supply any detail - how do we know this? You need to be more transparent with your customers to give us confidence

  • jonathansc
Jonathan SC ن Esq. (@jonathansc) reported from Wilford, England

@virginmedia had hoped the broken broadband in #Wilford would have been fixed overnight - but no still none and no update from you on progress to a fix #fail

@virginmedia @YouMadBruv3r How long does it take @virginmedia ??? Mines been down for weeks, right at the start of the season. Just done the service status check that you recommended for a fix date and it doesn't work 🤬🤬

  • GazzaAdams
    Gary Adams (@GazzaAdams) reported

@virginmedia I need this escalated as a formal complaint regarding fault **F012421201**, because the information Virgin Media is providing has now become demonstrably contradictory. At **08:01 today, 20 August**, Virgin Media told me: “Our engineer is on site and they're working to fix the problem.” The estimated repair time given was **18:00 today**. At **15:27 today**, after I have been without service for most of the day, Virgin Media has now told me: “We have identified the problem and an engineer is on their way.” The estimated repair time has also been moved to **14:10 tomorrow, 21 August**. These statements cannot both accurately describe the progress of the same fault. An engineer who was already **on site and working on the problem at 08:01** cannot subsequently be **“on their way” at 15:27** without some explanation. I fully understand that a complex network fault may take longer to repair than initially anticipated, and that estimated restoration times can change. That is not my complaint. My complaint is that Virgin Media is repeatedly providing contradictory factual information about the status of the repair, while I remain without the service I am paying for. I consequently have no confidence in the estimated restoration times being provided. Please therefore: 1. **Log this as a formal complaint and provide me with the complaint reference.** 2. Confirm the actual current status of fault **F012421201**, rather than repeating the automated status information. 3. Explain how an engineer could be reported as on site and working at 08:01 but “on their way” at 15:27. 4. Confirm when the outage affecting my service officially began and that the full period of loss of service has been recorded against my account. 5. Confirm what automatic compensation I will be entitled to for the complete loss of service, where applicable. I have retained screenshots of the outage updates and their timestamps. Please respond to the specific points above rather than sending me another automated repair estimate.

Is there a worse customer support than @virginmedia ? Ten minutes in between responses, and incapable of answering a simple question.

@virginmedia I’ve had a 360 remote delivered, but I didn’t order it, so I assume it was done by mistake. There’s a note on the packaging that says my current box will be wiped within five days. How can I cancel this?

@moonpeach212 @virginmedia Hey, VM will not sort anything out. I have spent so much time trying to sort out my issue as O2 failed to apply my Volt benefit. VM claims they have done everything while O2 claim they are waiting for VM confirmation. They drag the issue out hoping you will go away

@virginmedia About a month ago, you "upgraded" my broadband line You told me to plug my landline into my router, I did this and the phone stopped working. None of your crappy automated solutions have fixed this. Please tell me when ou are going to fix it or how to switch provider

@ryantegan @skytv We’ve just gone the other way, @virginmedia was not interested in keeping a customer of 10 years+, cost was literally going to double! We’ve switched to Sky but are ready to play flip flop between the 2 for the foreseeable as we know neither of them has any interest in loyalty!
