Safetypenfold (@SteveRiches4) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia No. I’m done with text, on line and anything except talking to someone. You’ve had the opportunity using the bot, Twitter and online support, now we need to communicate in person. #realpeople

  • paulwitneyphoto
paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia Adding my wife's phone to the internet/tv package which should include 1, 5G phone, you need to get your customer service sorted out and people who speak English to a higher standard or better still have English speaker #dissatisfiedcustomer with @virginmedia

  • TeresaBudworth
Teresa Budworth (@TeresaBudworth) reported from Quorn, England

52 minutes and two escalations for @virginmedia call centre to agree the diagnosis I’d already made. ‘Your “intelligent” booster pod is not working. A new one will be with you in 3-5 working days’ No wifi upstairs for a week is unacceptable

  • imageprincess
Amanda (@imageprincess) reported from West Bridgford, England

Help @virginmedia - you tell me to upgrade online but It says I can't! Half of your help pages go to an error page and sorry the rest of us are running customer care services during COVID! I want to self serve but can't and you expect me to stay on the phone for an hour!

  • HarjitDosanjh8
High End Chauffeurs of leicester (@HarjitDosanjh8) reported from Thurnby, England

@virginmedia 5 days no internet, promises of 24 hours it will be running, then told a little maintenance, yesterday at 9:30am we were told in 9 hours you will get a call guaranteed (didn’t happen). All day today no work has got done! Poor internet for years and now none!! WTH!!

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia The text service is a bot so doesn’t understand what I want. I don’t understand how posting on a community forum will help me order wifi pods. I’ve posted but just get replies from other members. I want to be able to contact someone at Virgin not other customers.

  • paulwitneyphoto
paulwitneyphoto (@paulwitneyphoto) reported from Ruddington, England

@virginmedia You are clearly having a laugh at our expense. How do we complain about the service by @virginmedia @Ofcom

  • B17AL
bilal manzoor (@B17AL) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia what’s going on today, how do I contact the customer number 0345 454 1111 or 150 just rings out and then ends the call?

  • red_dog14
Steve Barlow (@red_dog14) reported from West Bridgford, England

@dannyboy71 @skytv Good luck with that Dan @virginmedia without doubt the worse company I’ve ever had to deal with. Absolute shambles of a company who don’t give a flying toss about customer service. Can’t even be arsed to respond even if u put a complaint in writing.

  • MatthewWalne
Matthew Walne MCSI (@MatthewWalne) reported from Mountsorrel, England

@virginmedia I’ve re-run the tests and still recommending I get a booster but still no idea how I go about ordering one. Can someone help rather than me going around in circles again please?

  • jonathansc

  • juanfelipe1
John Wright (@juanfelipe1) reported from Leicestershire, England

@simonnread @virginmedia I'm having the same issue. For the period of lockdown I could broadly rely on the signal to my home office. The last 2/3 months I haven't and I am constantly having to tether my mobile at my expense. The router hasn't moved and neither has my office. The service has just worsened

  • DazCarson68
Darren Carson (@DazCarson68) reported from Chadwell, England

@virginmedia hi, could you advise the best method to speak to someone regards a request for return of kit after house move? Chat bot does not help, need to contact an agent thanks

  • jonathansc
Jonathan SC ن Esq. (@jonathansc) reported from Wilford, England

@virginmedia thank you for confirming that you think it is normal to send you customer no updates when your broadband has been down for in excess if 12 hours #Fail

  • Dog_in_a_hat
Wayne™ (@Dog_in_a_hat) reported from Leicestershire, England

@virginmedia I’ve had to call you in the past week 150 & you had to reset the router ... I shouldn’t need to do this! It’s your responsibility to ensure I have the service I pay (a lot) for!!!

Been with @virginmedia for 7 years now. The best "deal" they can offer me is 500mbs down (boosted to 1gb because of my cell plan) for £51 a month. Or I can swap to youfiber, £30 a month for 2gb up/down 🥴 @virginmedia you aren't the best choice no more. customer retention sucks.

  • SymbolismTM

@Stsantek @virginmedia all these companies are at it. Mobile phone companies, insurance companies, etc. Customer loyalty used to be rewarded. Now they try to exploit us. Pure greed.

@Ofcom Regardless of the fines they've still not improved with broadband, customer service and their prices are always high yet can't provide good service and quality of signals and equipment.. they need a full upgrade in equipment, signal quality and customer service @virginmedia

  • fayfreddie10
    faye (@fayfreddie10) reported

@virginmedia You're not i get fobbed off all the time. I was talked around into taking out a new contract on the promise that VM would solve the issues or give us the right to leave without charges.. a year in and nothing good has come of it.. even the phone line is unusable.

@EE At what stage of the order would I get a set up/ connection date please. @virginmedia have let me down far to many times so looking to switch to a new ISP

  • UK_DC_One
    Dave (@UK_DC_One) reported

That new @virginmedia upgrade, my advice to anyone thinking about it, DON'T DO IT!! We've had nothing but problems in our house with the WiFi since, especially in hot weather, it cuts out and drops out. Nothing but connectivity issues. It's awful. Router getting red hot constantly Helpline no use So what is the problem Virgin Media? When this was set up, your engineer assured us there would be no issues. Router checked, brand new boxes installed, so why is this happening? Seriously thinking of cancelling my contract because I'm not getting the help or service im paying for right now
