@virginmedia second outage of broadband in as many days in Rugby. Just closed an account - with never any problems and a new one now in my name I've had 2 outages within a week! What is going on? I'm stuck at home with after effects of covid and rely on b/band to watch TV!

Phoned @virginmedia today to upgrade my broadband - ie, pay them more money. Got told I could if I a - signed up to another 18 month contract (I'm still in contract) and b - paid a £35 "activation" fee. I politely declined. Do people really fall for this crap? #terribleservice
