@virginmedia just had call from 'Harry' in London, your technical department. Apparently I'm having issues with broadband speed... His employer ID was 194, apparently? He was shouty, in very loud place, couldn't tell me who I was. Please look into number 01323897224. Infuriating.

So #VirginMedia I report a fault this morning, you say repaired by 6pm. 7pm I called as still not working despite txt/email says fixed. 50 mins of listening to music then, "the other person has cleared" Really don't like being lied to. Not good enough, valued customer, my arse!

@AnnCleeves @virginmedia I had a similar issue - unreliable connection - and eventually it was diagnosed as the modem being incompatible following an upgrade at the Edinburgh head-end. I can’t recall now if I was posted a new modem for me to install, or if an engineer had to come out. Problem cured.

@virginmedia It’s not an outage, it’s the actual Hub. The Wifi It doesn’t cover a portion of the house. Ive phoned up numerous times and requested a new hub and been told they’ve fixed it countless times. As ive said above, it’s supposed to be 650mb and at times I struggle to get 10 upstairs

@AnnCleeves @virginmedia Unfortunately you won’t get the best support as most are reading from a script I was asked a couple of questions they suggest reboot and new hub they sent out ultra hd which remove all the standard channels I had typical of corporate engineering being offshore
