    @Jake_BHughes @virginmedia we had similar issue. they came when we were on holiday, no communication. we rang, were told they were coming yesterday to connect us, they didn’t arrive. told they’re coming today, didn’t arrive. spent 2 hours on the phone cancelling and was hung up on 3 times.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a problem with @virginmedia which eventually got sorted out, but not before going to their Executive Team. Customer care was nonexistent on the phones. Customer care is challenging but staff need to show much more empathy with the customer.

    jesus christ talking to virgin media on the phone is ridiculous we rang to cancel, got hung up on 3 times, after 2 hours finally cancelled and after cancelling they’re trying to get us to sign up for phone contracts and sim cards! like we would want that after we just cancelled

    @virginmedia our box has been next to useless for 10 days now - won’t connect, when it does its slow, work from home a nightmare and tonight we can’t watch tv. Keep opening chats on web and WhatsApp - no one gets back to me. No issue with postcode we’ve reset the hub but nothing.

    Heads up folks who have their Netflix account as part as their main Internet provider package you may have to sign back up for it to continue using your service had to today very annoying and inconvenient to say the least 🙄 it seems that virgin media is doing this

    @virginmedia Thanks. While I’m on the subject - why does it ALWAYS take multiple attempts to sort anything out with VM? Your WhatsApp and online support workers usually sign off with ‘rest assured you will not have to contact us again’. But this is rarely true?

    I just spent about 20 minutes trying to find out why I'm getting email from @virginmedia about a SIM that I didn't order. As far as I can tell, the email is legit and Virgin is sending me, and a lot of other people, a replacement SIM "to improve service." Did I miss a memo?

    @virginmedia I have been a customer continually since the days of Cable Midlands in 1992 but 30 yrs clearly stands for nothing? Following 109 mins on the phone & conversations with 3 staff (2 couldn't locate my account!) you have just lost a customer as I gave notice to cancel my account.

    After 2 days of trying to get through to @virginmedia to get a quote for a new broadband contract I finally got through to a very rude woman who felt it was ok to argue with me as I told her I wanted to leave, best decision I’ve ever made. Awful customer service. Goodbye 👋🏼

    I have now requested @virginmedia cancel my TV broadband and phone services 8 times via WhatsApp (am now on day 4) as well as on the phone, Facebook and Twitter. Still you will not cancel and instead keep transferring me between teams. 1/2
