@virginmedia has someone been a bit fat-fingered and pushed out a firmware update or something in the Gloucester area? Few people are having issues with their boxes restarting - ours went with a big click of the HDD, which was a bit worrying!

@virginmedia hi there, our hub 3 constantly has a red light on suggesting it’s overheating but it’s on the floor, uncovered, out of sunlight and not near anything else. Also have connection issues - have tried to fix using link but says I’m not at my address. I am. Thanks.

@kel14bt @WestBromEL Glad you got it sorted. I used to work for Virgin Media as an engineer. For it to take as long as it has, it will have been a network fault, which is much harder to solve than at the end user’s property (which I did). They could definitely communicate this better to customers.

@virginmedia Yes I have a hub 3 and I have already done that and have had a WiFi booster pod for some time. The problem sometimes happens next to the hub. I would suggest it is the service being received rather than the devices.
