N A T A L I E👼🏼 (@natsc0tt) reported from Cheltenham, EnglandCall me a Karen but lol imagine paying £80 a month to be getting 1mb of internet and you can barely contact them and when you do they hang up on you🥴 #virginmedia @virginmedia is a piece of utter **** and is a disgrace of a company😤
-

👍🙊Gill😂🎩 (@itsnickelflysk3) reported from Gloucestershire, EnglandThis problem with @virginmedia programmes screwing up had best be sorted before the Euros kick off in a bit.... Struggling to find something of worth to watch atm. Thank god not all channels aren't screwed 🤬😤🤬😤
-
Richard Goddard (@BlueMoonMod) reported from Brockworth, EnglandIf Virgin Media gave as much attention to customers when they have real problems, gave you a service , paid money back that would be great .But no, they just plague the life out of you regarding a TiVo box collection. I have confirmed already @virginmedia #virginmedia
-
maiella (@maiellamipiace) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia Oh please. Of course it wasn't resolved - unless you mean, did we get to keep taking your money for a service you don't want? Here's a thought: how about NOT holding long-standing customers to ransom by tying them into new long contracts?
-
maiella (@maiellamipiace) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia I already did your survey but you knew what I thought when you tried to force me to take on an 18 month contract after my original one ended. You treat customers like a cash crop. I make sure to tell everyone not to use you. You could have kept my business when I move but not now
-
Dr Paul Atkinson (@DrPaulAtkinson) reported from Cheltenham, England@vmbusinesshelp @terrizmo @vmbusiness This was yesterday. Your faults team were unhelpful when I finally got through after nearly an hour on hold. The significant outage seems to be well known but not by the twitter team who still have an outage from June pinned to this account!!
-
notreve31 (@LloydyBev123) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia Done many times, always on hold for at least an hour, eventually get through to someone who tries desperately to wriggle out of sending an engineer. Eventually engineer comes out, says they’ve found the issue and it’s fixed but no change
-
Matt (@Duranium1991) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia Hello. A new router was due to be delivered today as part of my upgrade to 1gb broadband. I never received a message from Yodel & didn't receive a delivery.
-
Dominic Williams (@DomWUK) reported from Painswick, England.@virginmedia I am deeply deeply unimpressed with your customer service. You made a mistake with the delivery address for my order. I have been on the phone for over an hour and 15 min, am being transferred to the 4th person, no one takes responsibility or is able to help.
-
Cllr Liam Harries 🔶 (@liamharries) reported from Quedgeley, England@vmbusinesshelp how can you claim to have a 24/7 fault support hotline if every time I call i either get cut off or after 5-10 mins of hold music I get a dial tone then silence? How can it be that VMBusiness has even worse customer service and reliability than residential?
-
Jen -Zumba_Kids with Jen (@Jen_M0nt) reported from Cheltenham, EnglandAaahhhh 🤨trying to work from home today delivering my virtual Zumba Classes and the internet keeps going down.. got kicked out my own class... #sorryclass #dancewithoutme 😔 #virginmediadown #virginmedia #workingfromhome #cantworknointernet #virtualzumba

-
The Mayflower (@chunfkong) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia is there a problem in GL51 area, our WiFi & landline are totally down!
-
Karl Timmis (@karl_timmis) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia why is the only option to cancel my account, to phone up and spend more than an hour on hold without speaking to someone? It seems like you're making it difficult for someone to leave?
-
N A T A L I E👼🏼 (@natsc0tt) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia bunch of absolute scammers. Paying £80 a month for nothing. Constantly using 4g on our phones as the internet is getting less than 1mb of internet, our home security is constantly off because of this. Phone gets put down when we call for help. Absolute joke.
-
Pippa 🇪🇺 (@pippameekings) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia Problems in the GL14BG area, is this being looked into? TiVo keeps rebooting
Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Johnycantdecide (@ladydaveg) reportedDiagnostic tests suck, the myvm app sucks, your ai at the end of the phone can't tell the difference between zero and three and I still can't speak to anyone. Is there anything you can do right? @virginmedia
-
GW (@GGWilliams72) reported@cdavo25 @virginmedia I had Stream Box and Broadband set up yesterday. Neither working today, tried Cust Serv’s on hold over 45 mins and still no answer! These people are as garbage as their services, spend your money elsewhere. I’m going back to @SkyUK 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
-
Declan Carty (@declancarty) reported@IrishTimes Perhaps someone like the excellent Patrick Freyne might investigate why, after all these YEARS, Sky subscribers in the ROI cannot get ITV channels, whilst Virgin Media customers have no probs in doing so. Is it still supposed to be a ‘rights’ issue ????
-
meg (@MeganJuliaaa_) reported“we are working hard to restore services as soon as possible” can’t wait to have no tv or internet for the whole weekend thanks virgin media for yet more shocking service
-
Paul O'Brien (@PaulOBrienKil) reported@virginmedia @MizzCQ I strongly urge anyone thinking of subscribing to @virginmedia to NOT do it. Took over a hour to get through to customer service & they still won't fix their mistake. Shambles of an organisation.
-
Marina Robb (@MarinaRobb) reported@MelJanie @virginmedia Tellingly, the engineer who eventually came out (I'd already cancelled the service) said they still had to fit the back up line as they'd been fined £28 million by the regulator. Appalling customer service though.
-
James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reportedUsually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.
-
Gary Hurdman LRPS (@ghotographyuk) reportedThe worst customer experience in trying to get help when their expensive service isn't working is @virginmedia. A black hole of "linking acounts" and recursive questions that ulitmately fail, just to try and report an issue. Do not make the mistake of becoming their customer
-
Seph (@sephiroth17181) reported@wrighty1707 @virginmedia the company is a complete joke, i was paying £56 a month for 1gig and the last 2 months were atrocious for connection the best they could do was send patronising emails saying it was my issue, so i switched to EE 1.6gig for £35 a month with unlimited mobile data to boot
-
Seren 7 (@Seren_7) reported@virginmedia your online chat to us hasn’t worked for over 6 weeks. I have only been able to cancel today after being on a 1 hour call. Please advise when my account will be credited?
