Ian Watson (@WattsChelt) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia You asked me to keep you posted, I’ve had no response. It certainly appears to be a problem with the hub because the WiFi is not really performing well. I’ve got three TiVo boxes and a C6 + broadband and it seems no one cares. Quite poor.

-
rob smith (@robsmit54519473) reported@scripture36 @virginmedia Perhaps try being actually disabled. Instead of a bit slow
-
Steven Mills (@srmills90) reported@elissetennis I’ll try again tomorrow. I’ve had problems trying to watch streams through Amazon Prime via TNT/HBO with my provider (Virgin Media.) It shouldn’t be this confusing! And I can’t even seem to sign up for TNT Sports through the app to watch on my smartphone anymore!
-
David Howard (@Geordie_Radgie) reported@MoneySavingExp I'm in favour of more control (virgin media constantly stiffing me...), but define "inflation". You also need to factor in how the costs - for the specific business and product - are increasing. It would help if govt. didn't keep finding new ways of driving costs up, also.
-
Adam Fletcher (@Fletchmyster85) reported@virginmedia 3-4 weeks now I've had issues with my broadband and TV. Tried calling but have to drop off because I don't have 30+ mins to wait. Start chats, after the long AI process I sit waiting for a person. Leave chat 30+ mins. Fill out complaints asking for a call from you...
-
John (@reversebrexit22) reported@virginmedia I have issues with my hub dropping out. I’ve done all of the checks and waited on the chat for 20 mins for a “customer support “ individual to drop off after 5 minutes because I didn’t respond with 10 seconds of him asking a question. I have screen shots as proof
-
A.Brown (@_DundeePerfect_) reported@robhinds @virginmedia I have never been told I need anything other than broadband.... even if do decide to have a home phone that now plugs right in to the router.

Wolf of X (@WolfofX) reportedIn 2003, Stan Beaton lost his wife, Ruby, to stomach cancer. Before she passed away, she had recorded the voicemail greeting for their home telephone. It was an ordinary message to anyone else, but to Stan it became the last recording of her voice. For more than a decade, he kept that voicemail safe. He even stayed with the same phone company because he feared changing providers might erase it. Whenever he missed Ruby, he would call his own home just to hear her say, "Sorry, at the moment, Stan and Ruby are not available..." For him, those few seconds were enough to bring her close again. Then, in December 2014, a network upgrade accidentally deleted the recording. Stan was heartbroken. He later said it felt like losing his wife all over again. Believing there was nothing left to lose, he contacted Virgin Media and asked if there was any way to recover it. What followed was something no one expected. Eleven telecommunications engineers spent three days searching through backup systems for a single deleted audio file. They described it as looking for a needle in a haystack, but they refused to give up. They found it. Instead of simply returning the recording, BBC Radio Leeds arranged a surprise during an interview with Stan. As Ruby's familiar voice filled the room once again, he broke down in tears. "That's her. Wonderful. Wonderful." The company later gave Stan permanent copies of the recording on a CD so he would never have to fear losing it again. It wasn't just a recovered voicemail. It was the return of the last words he could still hear from the woman he loved, a voice that had waited silently for years until someone cared enough to bring it back.

Jeremy Darby-Fox 🏴🇬🇧 (@FoxJereny) reported@virginmedia any chance you might actually get the internet working in Didcot anytime soon? Been several days now. Estimated fix date keeps being pushed back. Getting ridiculous now. It’s not cheap paying our bill for no internet
