Cllr Liam Harries 🔶 (@liamharries) reported from Quedgeley, England@vmbusinesshelp how can you claim to have a 24/7 fault support hotline if every time I call i either get cut off or after 5-10 mins of hold music I get a dial tone then silence? How can it be that VMBusiness has even worse customer service and reliability than residential?

K (@serebro333) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia hey, quick question, is your latest hub any better i.e. offers better strength/coverage than @SkyHelpTeam hub? I ask as we have two @ring doorbells some distance from the current hub and connections are awful. Contract almost up and it’s decision time 🤔. Thx
-
Ian Watson (@WattsChelt) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia You asked me to keep you posted, I’ve had no response. It certainly appears to be a problem with the hub because the WiFi is not really performing well. I’ve got three TiVo boxes and a C6 + broadband and it seems no one cares. Quite poor.

-
chris floyd (@mrchrisfloyd) reported@Ofcom @virginmedia love this!!! They’ve been at this for years!! Hanging up on customers! I hope it affects their staff now. Because ultimately it’s the company that gets fined for this, not the rude, stuck up staff they’ve got working for the company
-
Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported@entrustTMF @virginmedia Good reminder for me to chase them up about my poor broadband WiFi in the house and to renew contract or move.
-
Jonathan Kirk (@doubledutch13) reported@virginmedia having been treated disgracefully just after my wife died I’m delight you are 28 000 000 lighter in the pocket. You were truly awful and I’ll never ever use you again. Ever. #youdeserveit #laughingnow
-
Groupthink Blogs (@GroupthinkBlogs) reported@simonlevans @virginmedia They even admitted they did so. I remember trying to cancel my mum's contract 10 years ago, took me 2 hours. Most people would have given up.
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@aidan_codtello @virginmedia Good luck! When the service works at @virginmedia it's great-but when there's a problem you're pretty much on your own with a fanciful bunch of stories until you can finally get an engineer to pitch up. I always think that how they handle a problem is the measure of a company...
-
Minute Market (@Minutemarketio) reportedVirgin Media Gets Fined 🫰 Virgin Media was hit with a £28 million, or roughly $37 million, fine by UK regulator Ofcom for repeatedly making it harder for customers to cancel contracts between 2022 and 2024. That is not just a consumer-rights story. It is a warning for telecom and subscription businesses that “retention tricks” can become regulatory liabilities. In a market obsessed with recurring revenue, cancellation friction is now a legal risk.
-
Waqar (@Waqar83971366) reported@Ofcom Regardless of the fines they've still not improved with broadband, customer service and their prices are always high yet can't provide good service and quality of signals and equipment.. they need a full upgrade in equipment, signal quality and customer service @virginmedia
-
Ian McNee (@IanSMcNee) reportedI ditched @VirginMedia years ago over terrible customer service - this is the same as water companies: a semi-monopoly owned by US finance: asset stripping profiteers. Switched to local independent Andrews & Arnold - @AAISP. Top service, real people on the phone who fix problems.
-
mitchelle holland (@mitchlog) reported@BladeoftheS Never watched tv for 7 months filled out online form to buy license to watch world cup football . They have backdated yo Dec 25 . Now going in circles like virgin media to get refund . Imagine how they will take money with digital id and digital banking . 🪬🏦
