Stay away from @virginmedia My broadband has been problematic since the 13th Oct and was advised of an outage! However won't be fixed until 20th Oct. 7 days!! Bet they will still try and take the full payment from my account! #virginmedia #virginmediadown

Over 40 minutes (and waiting mainly on hold) for @skytv to sort out the fact I can’t download any content. I’m apparently a “Diamond Customer” as I’ve been with sky for about 20 years. Not for much longer. @virginmedia what offers do you have for disgruntled Sky customers?

@virginmedia I received it about a week about in the post, you tell me? Surely you must know as it’s been released. The box is prompting me to upgrade as instructed on the Home Screen of the menu! But it does not work. Any help at this point is greatly appreciated

@virginmedia has someone been a bit fat-fingered and pushed out a firmware update or something in the Gloucester area? Few people are having issues with their boxes restarting - ours went with a big click of the HDD, which was a bit worrying!

@virginmedia I have received the 360 remote control after I upgraded and when I try and update the software as instructed I get that message! I have spoken to 4 different people, no one can fix it and they refuse to send out an engineer as the box is “working correctly” ! I Beg to differ

@virginmedia I was, the problem sorted in 15 mins on the phone to a nice chap. but took 4 hrs just to speak to a human being. Unacceptable levels of service in this day and age.

@virginmedia What I am seeking is a decent level of service for the money I am paying, who ever heard of a media service without an email address, that could be construed by a reasonable person to be a deliberate attempt to avoid scrutiny are you now being run by the government?

@virginmedia Thanks for trying to help, we have FINALLY managed to get an engineer to come out tomorrow morning. You really need a much better fault reporting tool online, the notion of having to make a telephone call to register a fault is positively prehistoric.
