  • NoNotLoganPaul
Danny (@NoNotLoganPaul) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Hi, my service is quite slow, and struggles to load anything on phones over wifi. Everytime I do a speed test it's about 30-35mb, doesn't matter if I do the test on, phone, laptop or xbox always the same, up load is fine at about 20mb.

  • CCleevely
Claire Cleevely (@CCleevely) reported from Churchdown, England

@virginmedia have been a customer for over 12 years. Try to access online account, none of the login data works. So try Name, account no, area code. I don’t exist yet you are happy to take £48+ a month from me, & tell me my bill is about to be increased. #customerservice #Awful

  • 1grahamfletcher
Graham Fletcher (@1grahamfletcher) reported from Cheltenham, England

@virginmedia There is little point, as you won’t do anything about it, and it’s a waste of my time and effort. I know what you did, you should read the notes on file, and sort the issue. It was embarrassing to listen to and witness what happened today

  • Whitmore1Ann
Ann Whitmore (@Whitmore1Ann) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Yes! Ring me when you say you will! I was promised a call back within 24 hrs and guess what - nothing! It has to be after 1800 I need to get my logged complaint resolved! Ps I have this logged with the omnibus

  • Foxelms
Margaret Joseph 💙 (@Foxelms) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Thanks! Working in the garden at the moment but will try later. It’s very frustrating to be moved fro operative to operative and then disconnected. Probably because they couldn’t deal with the issue. Not good for your image.

  • MichaelAlanHunt
The Michael Hunt (@MichaelAlanHunt) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Your estimated fix time was 3pm, then 4pm, then 5pm, then 7pm. You,ve probably changed it to 9p now, having failed to fix your faulty network

  • tfalees
tommytheoralsurgeon (@tfalees) reported from Cheltenham, England

@virginmedia hi guys. Out of contract and I’ve received a message to contact you. How best to fix a new deal and router 4?

  • outtheratrace49
David Crebbin (@outtheratrace49) reported from Cheltenham, England

I’m with @virginmedia mobile and getting a lot of harassing calls amongst others from @HMRCgovuk telling me unless I press 1 a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Is anyone else getting these calls or is it just me or my network?

  • MichaelAlanHunt
The Michael Hunt (@MichaelAlanHunt) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Its your bloody network that's faulty today Virgin! Maybe YOU should run your own dratted status checks!

  • Hammerdan13
Hammerdan (@Hammerdan13) reported from Cheltenham, England

@virginmedia I am trying to cancel my contract, but you have sent me down a conversation with a computer. You are now in breach of our contract as you have failed to cancel it or listen to me upon my request. Your customer service is embarrassing!!

  • Barnsey02
Steve Barnes (@Barnsey02) reported from Quedgeley, England

@virginmedia I love Walter Presents progs on C4 & recently watched 1st ep of Monster. Tried to find rest of episodes and All4 app. Appears I can’t with you and have to watch online. Is this another reason to never have this box?

  • RayWebpro04
Ray (@RayWebpro04) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia awful customer service for Virgin Mobile account holders, only online messaging and no one to talk too. And they don’t read the text, just keep palming you off!

  • ricoedd
Neil Richardson (@ricoedd) reported from Cheltenham, England

Virgin media broadband down again!!! #virginmedia. Need to move to other provider.

  • garethbalmer
Gareth Balmer (@garethbalmer) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia has someone been a bit fat-fingered and pushed out a firmware update or something in the Gloucester area? Few people are having issues with their boxes restarting - ours went with a big click of the HDD, which was a bit worrying!

  • Gooner_Richard
Richard (@Gooner_Richard) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@kel14bt @WestBromEL Glad you got it sorted. I used to work for Virgin Media as an engineer. For it to take as long as it has, it will have been a network fault, which is much harder to solve than at the end user’s property (which I did). They could definitely communicate this better to customers.

  • 1grahamfletcher
Graham Fletcher (@1grahamfletcher) reported from Cheltenham, England

    @virginmedia No they can’t help

  • Mr_Stage
Russ (@Mr_Stage) reported from Cirencester, England

@JustinMMcGee @STEcopywriting @virginmedia Beat me to it. I play hoping network connectivity doesn’t come back.

  • booksbythewoods
booksbythewoods (@booksbythewoods) reported from Cheltenham, England

@virginmedia It says there's an issue with TV but broadband is fine, but our issue is with our broadband. I've rebooted the rooter again and no change

  • maiellamipiace
maiella (@maiellamipiace) reported from Gloucestershire, England

@virginmedia Oh please. Of course it wasn't resolved - unless you mean, did we get to keep taking your money for a service you don't want? Here's a thought: how about NOT holding long-standing customers to ransom by tying them into new long contracts?

  • je_durrant
    James Durrant (@je_durrant) reported

I’ve had it with @virginmedia No service since 10 Jul and it won’t be fixed until 17 Aug. They can’t give me a 5G modem despite being joined with O2 and say I should be happy with the £10 p/d Ofcom comp; that doesn’t help me do work. £800 to cancel my contract, it’s a racket

  • aspoone2
    Adam Spooner (@aspoone2) reported

@Edeaulx @virginmedia Having worked in telecoms I can vouch for the fact that Virgin Media's customer service is atrocious and I'd argue is the worst in the industry. I would never be a customer of theirs ever again.

  • lifeisnuts123

@trapdoor456 @virginmedia Been with 4 providers so far inc Virgin and all been terrible when it comes to sorting problems. Pot luck I think. Can't wait to get away from the one I'm with now when the contract runs out.

@virginmedia 4x since I’ve moved across from BT, the service has been completely down in my area, this in space of just a few months. This has affected exam revision, kids bedtime routines, among other things. Terrible, pathetic service and can’t wait until my contract expires!

@itsuu___ yeah its a DNS or routing issue on virgin media's end. because the VPN connection is working all traffic is routed through that on the virgin media side. so to them they are connecting you to vpn, then it's the vpn that's connecting you to twitter.
