-
maiella (@maiellamipiace) reported from Gloucestershire, EnglandOh @virginmedia why bother sending emails with customer satisfaction surveys attached when you have zero interest in taking any notice of what your customers think? If you had, you'd listen to our complaints instead of squeezing as many £££ as possible out of us before we cancel!
-
Graham Fletcher (@1grahamfletcher) reported from Cheltenham, England@Keithsimon1973 @virginmedia I would Keith, but they want to do it over their text service
-
James Lawlor (@TheJamesLawlor) reported from Brockworth, England@virginmedia Yes that was one of the first things I done, no problems apparently
-
James Lawlor (@TheJamesLawlor) reported from Brockworth, England@virginmedia Don't ask me to check service status. Don't ask me to reset your router. Don't ask me to ring that number to speak to a computer and don't send me a link to 'tell' me whats wrong with the Internet
-
Andy Gent (@andygent) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia No, none at all, your service status has no known issues in the area. She has been on live chat with one of your colleagues and an engineer visit has been organised. Very frustrating as she is working from home
-
Sarah Kemmett 🧜♀️🥂🦄 (@sarahk0905) reported from Gloucestershire, EnglandHi @virginmedia I need some help please. My parents internet has gone down, customer services say they need a replacement hub taking up to 7 days to arrive. My mother is disabled and my dad is her carer, both isolating. How can we get the hub delivered quicker pls?
-
James Clarke (@Fun_and_James) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia hi - I’ve just ordered a family pack of Virgin mobile SIMs because O2 coverage is poor where we live… I’ve only just read about the merger. Does your network still run on Vodafone or are you now O2 also?
-
Cllr Liam Harries 🔶 (@liamharries) reported from Quedgeley, England@vmbusinesshelp how can you claim to have a 24/7 fault support hotline if every time I call i either get cut off or after 5-10 mins of hold music I get a dial tone then silence? How can it be that VMBusiness has even worse customer service and reliability than residential?
-
Dominic Williams (@DomWUK) reported from Painswick, England.@virginmedia I am deeply deeply unimpressed with your customer service. You made a mistake with the delivery address for my order. I have been on the phone for over an hour and 15 min, am being transferred to the 4th person, no one takes responsibility or is able to help.
-
Lord Lefty cultural attachè for Gloucestershire (@the_fbpe) reported from Brockworth, England@virginmedia 1. I never get to speak to someone who speaks English as their mother tongue, 2. Despite being a customer for a number of years and spending more than £100 a month, I have been hit with a late payment charge because I had a heart attack and was in hospital,
-
booksbythewoods (@booksbythewoods) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia It says there's an issue with TV but broadband is fine, but our issue is with our broadband. I've rebooted the rooter again and no change
-
Richard (@Gooner_Richard) reported from Gloucestershire, England@kel14bt @WestBromEL Glad you got it sorted. I used to work for Virgin Media as an engineer. For it to take as long as it has, it will have been a network fault, which is much harder to solve than at the end user’s property (which I did). They could definitely communicate this better to customers.
-
Ian Watson (@WattsChelt) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia It’s now Thursday, I’ve waited as you said and no response from the text. No longer any response from you? At a loss, serious money handed over every month and zero service. #virgincomplaint
-
The Michael Hunt (@MichaelAlanHunt) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia your connection's up and down today more often than a *****'s drawers! Bloody fix it!
-
Dom the property finance chap (@DomSheahan) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia Reason? You're service is rubbish. Could cancel nd argue breach of contract, but can't be bothered with you chasing me....oh well, a few months to go until my contract is over, tick tock.. you're no longer my only broadband option, just hope others see this nd think twice! @Ofcom
-
Paul (@paulhewlett1983) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia I received my 360 remote today and the box will not update says migration is not possible! Help?
-
Chris (@Beardedwelsh) reported from Gloucestershire, EnglandEvery day around this time by business Virgin Broadband goes down... 😩 Just why? @virginmedia #virginbroadbandissues
-
Louise Morton (@Louisejmorton16) reported from Gloucestershire, England@virginmedia can’t believe your customer service could get any worse, 21 days since I made a complaint and still no contact
-
Dr Paul Atkinson (@DrPaulAtkinson) reported from Cheltenham, England@vmbusinesshelp @terrizmo @vmbusiness This was yesterday. Your faults team were unhelpful when I finally got through after nearly an hour on hold. The significant outage seems to be well known but not by the twitter team who still have an outage from June pinned to this account!!
-
Graham Fletcher (@1grahamfletcher) reported from Cheltenham, England@virginmedia in light of the outage issues today, can someone get in touch with me tomorrow as I want to cancel my contract and move to @skytv and use their Sky Glass technology

Pete White (@1Petewhite) reported@virginmedia Join Virgin Media? VM prosecuted for being cheating bastards. I was a VM customer for years .. took me ages to get out of contract. 500mbps for £14.00 and you hģdont need a home phone. Virgin Media has been fined £28m for repeatedly preventing customers opting out
-
ElJaffoGuzman (@ElJaffoGuzman) reportedBeen with @virginmedia for 7 years now. The best "deal" they can offer me is 500mbs down (boosted to 1gb because of my cell plan) for £51 a month. Or I can swap to youfiber, £30 a month for 2gb up/down 🥴 @virginmedia you aren't the best choice no more. customer retention sucks.
-
Liz Langfield (@liz_langfield) reported@ArturNadol7566 So Virgin Media has to pay a fine of £28m for the deliberate mistreatment of customers. But where does that money actually go? Certainly not to their customer-victims of their mistreatment. As always, fines paid by large corporations and companies NEVER benefit the victims.
-
No Class🇪🇺 🏴🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ (@Veganforever67) reported@BBCNews Another time phoned up virgin media said my internet was running slow. They said no problems. We can give you a discount for the time it's been running slow. They didn't contact me in any way, shape or form and signed me up to a New year's contract.
-
Shaun Key (@SKEY2011) reported@virginmedia So your going to give us a discount next month then as I’m paying for a service that I’m not getting, no internet no tv no World Cup, !!!!! Get it sorted!!
-
Daithi (@daithigor) reportedI used to be able to cancel Virgin Media over email. I have the emails to prove it. The last time I tried to cancel over email I was told they "changed the system" and had to ring to cancel.
-
Christine💙 (@jaluch) reported@virginmedia I am waiting for a phone call from your rep. Will contact you if problem not solved, so far not happy with the response with your service
-
James Washington (@Rei_Never) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia This is mental. When I moved house, over a decade ago now, they were upfront with the contract. However, they did indeed massively screw up - cancelled the DD for the new contract, left the old one in place, I was still paying for the old service. Took 6 months to fix.
-
Benjamin Hall (@Madisonville972) reportedTired of paying for multiple subscriptions like Sky, BT Sport, Virgin Media, Now TV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+? I have got the solution. This IPTV @8k_World_Iptv13 offers: • 300,000+ live channels • 65,000+ VODs • PPV events • Netflix • 78,000+ movies
-
Andy (@andyosb) reported@Ofcom @virginmedia did exactly the same thing to me back in 2019! It was - and still is - the worst customer service experience of my life (and I'm now 65). It was just so glad to escape them eventually. They're utter scum. Do yourself a favour & don't go anywhere near this company.
