@virginmedia our box has been next to useless for 10 days now - won’t connect, when it does its slow, work from home a nightmare and tonight we can’t watch tv. Keep opening chats on web and WhatsApp - no one gets back to me. No issue with postcode we’ve reset the hub but nothing.

@virginmedia I have already opened a formal complaint. This was dismissed with "You are unhappy about the poor customer service you experienced. We request you call on the number..." which led to further a further call, lots of waiting and no further progress. Hence this Twitter conversation.

@virginmedia second outage of broadband in as many days in Rugby. Just closed an account - with never any problems and a new one now in my name I've had 2 outages within a week! What is going on? I'm stuck at home with after effects of covid and rely on b/band to watch TV!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a problem with @virginmedia which eventually got sorted out, but not before going to their Executive Team. Customer care was nonexistent on the phones. Customer care is challenging but staff need to show much more empathy with the customer.

Heads up folks who have their Netflix account as part as their main Internet provider package you may have to sign back up for it to continue using your service had to today very annoying and inconvenient to say the least 🙄 it seems that virgin media is doing this

@ChesnoidGaming @virginmedia I had terrible experiences with Virgin when I lived at home. I even got my own BT line run in and had a separate connection to my room it was that bad. Ever since I moved out, I've been on BT and it's been 99.9% perfect. When we move, the house MUST have BT connection 😬

@virginmedia Surpassed yourselves today virgin. Your CS staff told your engineer that they couldn’t fix the account issue that meant the software wont update. Then after 54 minutes - yes 54! - on the phone to customer services tonight to follow the engineers instruction she CUT THE CALL!!!!
