    @virginmedia second outage of broadband in as many days in Rugby. Just closed an account - with never any problems and a new one now in my name I've had 2 outages within a week! What is going on? I'm stuck at home with after effects of covid and rely on b/band to watch TV!

    @virginmedia Netflix channel 150 says "Not authorised". Was working ok a couple of days ago. How do I fix this please? Not a problem with my account. Netflix is working fine on my phone.

    @virginmedia I have already opened a formal complaint. This was dismissed with "You are unhappy about the poor customer service you experienced. We request you call on the number..." which led to further a further call, lots of waiting and no further progress. Hence this Twitter conversation.

    Virgin media sim card is free and it's not worth it. It's really bad. Hardly ever get a signal when out when u do it's about 5mb

    @HeyPJB @virginmedia Yeah. That's easy enough. My Virgin gigabit and TV was jumping from £74 to £89 next year. BT offering a very similar service for £84 but includes Netflix (£13.99 worth), which Virgin can't do.

    @virginmedia Netflix came back today. Separately, the movie I recorded last night started 30 mins late but the Virgin box didn't adjust for it. So I missed the ending. Pretty poor service, considering how much I pay every month.

    @virginmedia I am currently on 3G and it’s SLOW! So a refund would be the right thing to do. Especially if the money has already come out of my account. I have screenshots to prove it’s not working.

    @virginmedia amazing how you justify it yet contradict yourself, I did accept a fixed price for the service yet that fixed price is being changed. Customers see a while price for their service, we don’t view things as being discounted or however you structure it to make the price manageable

    @virginmedia You lied. Just got email about price increase not due to end of discount . You want virgin media customers to pay for your expansion. You have lost this customer and I am starting a mass switch campaign to get people to move from virgin to another supplier for a discounted price.

    @SazzaSpillane @virginmedia Oh absolutely. I promise I took no frustration out on the overstretched, under resourced call centre. My frustration is with corporate leadership who make getting service as difficult as possible. Here's a thought, invest in great service and keep your customers that way instead.

    @MattHibbert @virginmedia Clear your day if / when you call to leave. I did on tuesday. It took me 8 attempts, (kept getting disconnected) 6 different agents, told the “problem is at my end and we need to send out an engineer” (its not) 3 brews, & 4.5 hrs of my life! Got there in the end. They are shite.
