Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Tamworth District, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Tamworth District and nearby locations:

  • karen_64frost ♥ Maesie & Oban ♥ (@karen_64frost) reported from Ibstock, England

@virginmedia Rotten lousy spiteful behaviour. All because I have the freedom of choice as to whom my service provider will be. Virgin, you’ve done a sterling job in holding things up.....childish. Well done. Disgraceful.

  • Paul_Reviews Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@ScottMcGready @SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @PWTooStrong I didn't say it was perfectly fine... but it's certainly possible to pick a secure 10 character PW within those constraints. I was a VM customer for 2 decades... I can't recall ever losing sleep over this.

  • MGDTWITWATCH Michael Grahame-Dunn (@MGDTWITWATCH) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia awful service and even worse customer service -

  • MidlandsSBM Matthew Clements-Wheeler (@MidlandsSBM) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia not pleased at all with your service. Despite three confirmation calls from you to me confirm what we needed, you have still not handled our house move correctly

  • MJ_Lorimer MJ (@MJ_Lorimer) reported from Birmingham, England

Thanks @virginmedia for renewing my contract for 12 months and then downgrading me and I loose all my HD channels! Your service is poor and unacceptable #virginmedia

  • karen_64frost ♥ Maesie & Oban ♥ (@karen_64frost) reported from Ibstock, England

@virginmedia Absolutely disgusted with this service. Decided to change to another service provider, given 30 day notice only to find Virgin will not release the all important TELEPHONE NUMBER before 30 days up. How SPITEFUL Thanks for that😡

  • Paul_Reviews Paul Moore (@Paul_Reviews) reported from Burntwood, England

@SCwithGin @virginmedia @NCSC @troyhunt @ScottMcGready @PWTooStrong This isn't as bad as some would make out. 10 isn't ideal, but it's not insecure either. That's not to say you can't choose an insecure 10 character password however...

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@MingSwift The TV service is great but if we can’t rely on our WiFi in a connected home, it’s not worth it. Have made a complaint. If they don’t offer an upgraded hub (which they’ve not before) and compensation/reduced bill (gone up by £14 since Sept), we’ll be gone. @virginmedia

  • GullyPlays Ben (@GullyPlays) reported from Birmingham, England

And virgin is down again I’m sure this happens monthly...@virginmedia

  • MidlandsSBM Matthew Clements-Wheeler (@MidlandsSBM) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia You disabled our old address so I am now having to move my wife’s business computer and records at 10pm at night to the new address so she can work tomorrow. Your customer service agents haven’t got my name right once and you have mucked up provision of equipment at the new place

  • carledwards1974 Carl Edwards (@carledwards1974) reported from Bedworth, England

@virginmedia having issues again in our area. I have unplugged and reset our broad band box but still having issues. Signal dropping out and low speeds. We are paying a premium for the fastest speeds yet we get mediocre speeds and poor Wifi. Can you check asap please.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

And once again we are unable to use our @virginmedia wifi. When I called customer services today they took nearly 10min to answer, asked the same basic questions repeatedly and then cut me off without even starting to resolve anything! Bloody useless. Issues since May 2018.

  • MJ_Lorimer MJ (@MJ_Lorimer) reported from Birmingham, England

I also can’t get anyone to help resolve this as “your closed” apparently @virginmedia

  • GullyPlays Ben (@GullyPlays) reported from Birmingham, England

I’m sick of my internet going down for half a day every week. Should get something for the inconvenience. @virginmedia

  • ItsOnlyCaitlin Caitlin Parker🧜🏼‍♀️🧜🏼‍♀️ (@ItsOnlyCaitlin) reported from Lichfield, England

Wasting my data in my own house is the worst. @virginmedia are the worst 😭😭😭

  • MidlandsSBM Matthew Clements-Wheeler (@MidlandsSBM) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Shocking bad. We booked our old address to run until the 7th March and paid for a new account to start today at the house we are moving into so my disabled wife was not without internet.

  • Sammykins9486 Samantha (@Sammykins9486) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Tried the chat everyday for the past 5 days and it is not working. Due to recent changes with someone at household moving out I do not need the landline anymore, and wanted to discuss my options as I do not want to pay monthly for a service I am not using

  • JillyBrum Jillybrum (@JillyBrum) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Phone and TV down in B24 area, wondering if the power cut immediately before was due to work you’re doing.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Repeatedly over several years. Get the same response each time. Nothing changes long term. I see from checks online that other people have the same issues so I’m now planning on leaving.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@squelchuk @MingSwift @virginmedia We have a good box. That took long enough to get upgraded. I would try a superhub3… but I want a signal that gets around the house too, as well as reliability!

Virgin Media Issues Reports

  • zoobybook zooby brodie beagles (@zoobybook) reported

@virginmedia Hi is the email server down? Last delivered emails 13:11 today. Said server not available to wait an hour and try again, still not available

  • PlasFron John Bell (@PlasFron) reported

@jamescw44 @tonymc39 @virginmedia Spent months trying to get decent BB off Vodaphone and whole day last week with helpful engineer, then frustrating time on phone and Twitter Messaging, trying to solve the problem. Eventually, agreed to replace the Router. Should arrive tomorrow, hopefully, will solve the problem

  • fleuroriginale LisaBH (@fleuroriginale) reported

@virginmedia hello. Will your overseas call centre stop a harassing me for the return of equipment that I was told to recycle as it was out of warranty and I was years past my contract end. I WILL issue a cease and desist letter if you continue.

  • ManiPillai1886 Mani Pillai (@ManiPillai1886) reported

@virginmedia Thanks. The message on this number says that there are no issues in the area. This contradicts what the customer centre staff told me. How can we get these conflicting messages?

  • TraceMoore Tracey Moore (@TraceMoore) reported

@virginmedia I don't appreciate the aggressive, unsolicited sales call I've just had from one of your staff. Once I've calmed down I suspect I'll be calling YOU to cancel my account. It was outrageous.

  • ManiPillai1886 Mani Pillai (@ManiPillai1886) reported

@virginmedia No, neither your site nor your app shows any issues in the area. I am now on a call with another CS rep who tells me that there are issues in the area but doesn’t know why your website hasn’t got status update.

  • Rawrschack Immie🌟 (@Rawrschack) reported

@Seb_is_tired @virginmedia For me it's going to be down until 22:10 according to the website, No box or Internet that is.

  • PGore2020 PGore (@PGore2020) reported

.@virginmedia someone trying to move their service from one address to another cannot get this done despite using all your channels. How can this be resolved as they are paying for a service they are not getting. Why is your computer saying “No”.

  • Skortchio Dave Murphy (@Skortchio) reported

What happens when you have to move home to accommodate your medical disability but @virginmedia, whom you've been a customer of for 15 years don't cover the area you move to? A "cancellation fee" over £200 is what happens. Thanks, @MoneyTelegraph for the complaints address.

  • neurovet_clare Clare Rusbridge (@neurovet_clare) reported

@virginmedia No disruption to service according to your site and in any case this is a constant problem worse on weekends and Friday ( not related to our devices).
