Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Lichfield, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lichfield and nearby locations:

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Yes, security cameras, nest heating, hue bulbs. Less frequently. But still happens. Everything works for a while then something or several things stop. Never everything. We have entirely re-set everything once, which takes hours to sort and is not an answer.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia obviously massive problems!! All services down for 2 days, now reinstalled but they've deleted my Sent box on their server so I can't email documents, badly affects work and no technical support. They just cut out and hang up!!!

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Okay. Just that Twitter asked me to sign into it and results would give you access. Thanks for clarification...just really dont understand why I have to go to a forum to get tech support for an error Virgin has made.

  • ann_wilson0121 Lisa Wilson (@ann_wilson0121) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia why sell us a package when you do not have the correct infrastructure in place! 30 minutes on hold today, I’m giving up. We didn’t have these issues with Sky.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia I have a technician coming on Tues to replace SuperHub but need specific technical support to restore Sent box on PC. Windows say object not found error Ox8004010F. VM techs used to help in past at level 2 or 3. Now it's impossible to get past level 1 tech support.

  • theblackstrat THEBLACKSTRAT (@theblackstrat) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia Why do you have to continually restart the phone to get rid of the red icon on The phone app icon even when you’ve deleted the voicemail It seems this is a major problem with you I would appreciate you resolving it all as otherwise the phone is not fit for purpose

  • rogj82 Roger James (@rogj82) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia 1/2 - I have never know such a disgusting company!! Having answered a call last week from this number 0345 454 1098 (your retentions), where your employee rudely cut me off when I said I could’nt talk at the time, hounded every day since with calls, right up until...

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia No. It’s usually just one of the connected devices we lose at a time. Most often speakers but sometimes security cameras, sometimes hue bulbs. Never everything at once.

  • mercede72928186 Mercedes Hodson (@mercede72928186) reported from Wednesfield, England

@virginmedia hi Iv no internet could you run a check down my line please

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Literally three years of the same inconsistency. And appalling customer service when you speak to anyone. There is nothing you have done or will do to improve this. As soon as I can get a decent speed from another local company I’ll be gone.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia There is no weak signal. I’ve checked all around the house repeatedly. There are no faults in the area. I have checked repeatedly. Customer services have been unhelpful on multiple calls. Had to fight to get an upgraded hub!

  • rogj82 Roger James (@rogj82) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia 2/2- just when my wife answered the phone and your employee told her to f**k off when she politely declined any new deals or offers! Absolutely digusting, glad to be leaving and fair to say if that is how you treat customers of 11 years in total we will never be back

  • mercede72928186 Mercedes Hodson (@mercede72928186) reported from Wednesfield, England

@virginmedia Was on wireless and re booted the box didn’t work, however it’s working now as you seemed to have fixed the issue. Thank you

  • SpykDaBarstud Si Hodgkiss-Rogers (@SpykDaBarstud) reported from Rugeley, England

@ryanricardo76 @virginmedia Having problems on and off with mine again. It works for three months... problems for six, etc. Can’t even steam a movie on one device atm. Call for support. Same thing every time. Always say there’s no issue. Must be our devices. Think, at £50 a month... time to change.

  • cra1gs Craig (@cra1gs) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia It’s not a good enough response. You’re providing a sub bar service and yet I’m still paying my bill in full. I expect a discount until the matter is resolved.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia The link you provide is entirely not the problem. We’ve had the same issue for 2 years. It doesn’t stop being a problem. And every time we contact someone about it, we get the same advice because there’s no continuation. Please read the message chain if you’re going to reply.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia My computer guy HAS looked at your forum. We know what the problem is but it needs technical support your end to fix it. It would take the right person 2 mins but we cant get past your incredibly poor customer service to get any kind of tech support. So stressful & frustrating.

  • BrimmellDen Den Brimmell (@BrimmellDen) reported from Wednesfield, England

So glad we dumped #virginmedia 18 months ago, they’re hopeless & their customer service is non-existent!

  • Patchwork_Boy Craig Whitehouse (@Patchwork_Boy) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia Hi, my internet is down. The connection (arrows) symbol is flashing and have been since about 3am. Tried restarting router, didn't fix it. Advice, please.

  • JaneCampionHoye Jane Campion Hoye (@JaneCampionHoye) reported from Birmingham, England

@virginmedia Hi, thanks for getting back to me. All my VM services were down in past 48 hours. Now restored. BUT you seem to have deleted my Sent Box from Virgin email Server. I had 2 sent boxes, but the one deleted is the major one synced to my Windows 10 so can't send imp work documents!!

@virginmedia Your helpline now has a recorded message about ongoing upgrade work in the SM5 area, but this is not echoed on your self check page on my account. Upgrade was due to be completed by 09:00, but at 10:50 service is still intermittent.

  • MflRoberts Miss Roberts MFL (@MflRoberts) reported

@hbristow_mfl @virginmedia Screenshot the call logs while you have them so you can show evidence you’ve tried to contact them. I’d do a formal complaint so they need to get back to you.

  • paddybrown82 dd82 (@paddybrown82) reported

@virginmedia another day and no internet. My partner can't work, I can't work. Just spent 1h and 30m on the phone for your operator to hang up on me. Still no internet and on hold again 😡😡😡 absolutely shocking service. Worst internet provider ever!!!!?

  • FamosoEd Eduardo R (@FamosoEd) reported

@virginmedia The least virgin could do when their broadband is not working in someone home and they had the loyalty of their customers for over 10 years who pays already a lot is to fix the problem by offering perhaps the newest hub with more potency and booster with no extra cost!

  • thestevestubbs Steve Stubbs (@thestevestubbs) reported

@WBAvlogs2 @virginmedia Log into your router 192.168.0.1 - the login admin and password should be on the bottom of your router. If you can log in like this then you are in router mode

  • KyleStewart1990 Kyle Stewart (@KyleStewart1990) reported

@virginmedia Funny post cause i have been in contact since 13th January to try resovle an issue over a bill that is wrong and yet i am still waiting to hear back. I just get past from pillar to post by your shocking customer service team. Quick enough to take money though.

  • sparkly1968 James Brennan (@sparkly1968) reported

@virginmedia I’m looking to cancel the old account so I can set up a new account for the broadband I have just taken out for the next 18 months
