  • SamLDerry

@virginmedia We do speak to someone on a regular basis only to be told what I've stated above... when we can get a word in edgeways without being interrupted by Rude Staff

  • Ebike_holidays
National Forest E-Bike Holidays (@Ebike_holidays) reported from Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England

@virginmedia Everyone is very apologetic but that doesn’t help give a vulnerable old lady the peace of mind that her son is available at the other end of the phone, should something happen.

  • LizzieMizzie_
Lizzie Jane 🎭 (@LizzieMizzie_) reported from Market Bosworth, England

@virginmedia I am currently on 3G and it’s SLOW! So a refund would be the right thing to do. Especially if the money has already come out of my account. I have screenshots to prove it’s not working.

  • mkcU2war
Mark Crossley (@mkcU2war) reported from Fradley and Streethay, England

@virginmedia you have been taking money out of my account, and after an hour + on the phone you are unable to tell me why. It’s looking like theft. Disgraceful service.

  • jeibbotson
Jonathan Ibbotson (@jeibbotson) reported from Castle Donington, England

@virginmedia please sort out your appalling broadband service in the derby area. More time down than up @Ofcom you ought to mandate refunds

  • XStatikPulse
Itza Secret (@XStatikPulse) reported from Castle Donington, England

@virginmedia I would call 150 from my land-line to say that broadband and TV are down, but the phone isn't working either! And your call centre doesn't open till 8 (should be 24/7 when u sell a 24/7 product)

  • HistoricCatLady
Rebecca Ward (@HistoricCatLady) reported from Mackworth, England

@virginmedia what’s going on? I can’t even get onto your website for the service tracker using my phone data! I could really use an update here so that I can actually work!

  • alextiplerfilm
Alex Tipler (@alextiplerfilm) reported from Coalville, England

@virginmedia You don't have internet access yet you are on twitter? Can you not get someone to ring me. I am stuck on hold, 16 minutes now, waiting to resolve your issue!

  • WieMenHo
Wie-Men Ho (@WieMenHo) reported from Lichfield, England

Shocking telephone service @virginmedia - want to reduce my TV package. Don’t want movies or BT sports any more. Can’t tell me what package I would move on to. Whether I lose any other channels or even if I lose HD channels.

  • satyanimi
satyan panchal (@satyanimi) reported from Coalville, England

@virginmedia I will try once more otherwise yet another complaint Customer care will determine future business and future recommendations is something that seems to get ignored by Virgin.

philwebster (@littleanfield15) reported from Tamworth District, England

@virginmedia no email access still been like this since friday morning being told nothing very disappointed in the customer service receiving!just want some factual truthful information on when this will be resolved

  • shaunreeves
Shaun Reeves (@shaunreeves) reported from Fradley and Streethay, England

@virginmedia It appears to have been resolved. However it is rather alarming to hear members of our village had been told by your customer service team “the earliest fix would be 6th Jan 2021”.

  • jonnyriall
Jonathon Riall (@jonnyriall) reported from Shepshed, England

@virginmedia It doesn't feel like paying £50+ a month for no fancy services (basic TV and broadband) this is great customer service.

  • Watto_Clare
Clare Watson-Spence (@Watto_Clare) reported from Coalville, England

Can anyone help with 20 data dongles for a school I’ve worked closely with. The free WiFi/data would allow these families to access on line learning for lock down. Would be a loan until they return to school! Please try and help! Thank you xx @virginmedia @tescomobile @O2

  • ASJPhotography
Alexandra Johnson (@ASJPhotography) reported from Coalville, England

@virginmedia have to be the MOST unhelpful when it comes to customer service. I’ve been going round and round and round for an issue your technical engineer has already highlighted!!!!

  • k28ykaty
Katy Oliver (@k28ykaty) reported from Sandiacre, England

@virginmedia Except if your me.. I’ve continually been supplied with a poor excuse for broadband.. I was promised a booster for my signal yet weeks later I’ve still not received it.. your not keeping up your side of this contract.. will not renew my contract when this is over!

  • jonnyriall
Jonathon Riall (@jonnyriall) reported from Shepshed, England

@virginmedia Thanks for the reply. On both occasions there's apparently been no issues, and none shown again this morning. It's more the fact that even though it happened twice in a week, and having waited on hold for 30min each time, I just get told to call back if it happens again.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

  • yerwhit
    Gaz (@yerwhit) reported

@EpicLastSong @virginmedia My virgin Internet signal dropped out all the time, after being told to restart several times, I bought a tp-link router and used the virgin one as a modem, no problem after that.

  • mrsluc
    Sandra Robinson (@mrsluc) reported

@YeshuaFoxtrot @virginmedia I read on here everyday about issues, I have to be honest they are the best I've had. Three years and never an issue, well apart from the persistant cold calls. I sympathise with people who do, I was with Sky and had to reset my modem 3 times a day.

  • Clinkyboy67
    Arron Clinkscales (@Clinkyboy67) reported

@virginmedia Brilliant what a service ! Meanwhile no internet , no TV , no nothing and my wife's business hasn't stop ! REALLY

  • Mteasel67
    mark teasel💙💙💙 (@Mteasel67) reported

@virginmedia is your website down at all ? , I'm trying to look at some links you sent me earlier ( via X) and all I get is an error message 403 forbidden 🤔

  • CliveDaviesUK
    🇺🇦 Clive Davies #FBPE 🔶🇬🇧🇪🇺🇭🇰 (@CliveDaviesUK) reported

@O2 There’s really no point as nothing ever changes! And when Virgin Media goes down (which happens far too often) I have zero means of communication. The price hike was the last straw really - time to move to another provider.

  • MakelyStudio
    Ali@Makely (@MakelyStudio) reported

10+ years. 50M+ users. £11M+ revenue impact. Mercedes. Citibank. Sky. Virgin Media. NatWest. Here's what I learned: Bad product flows can cost thousands, or even millions, in lost revenue. Regardless of company size. What kills conversions in big-name products does the same for startups: - Onboarding that loses people in the first 60 secs - Pricing pages that confuse instead of convert - Sign-up flows that cause decision fatigue I’ve seen that when you fix these - you get more from the traffic you already have. Now I build those same systems for funded startups - so they keep the users they've already paid to get.

    Kat (@catsmum27) reported

@Elainebks @y_alibhai @virginmedia They monitor, but the responses are purely performative as resolutions never achieved.

  • ukaldo2
    aldo (@ukaldo2) reported

@virginmedia I’m completely disgusted. You hounded my 80-year-old mother with repeated calls until she cancelled her existing contract, only to then refuse to provide the new service. Why were no checks done upfront? You’ve now left her with no contract. Completely unacceptable.

  • irishbazdev
    Barry Devlin (@irishbazdev) reported

@virginmedia Two months + before I get contacted by 02/Virgin Media regarding my ongoing complaint and all you can offer me for broken promises is £20. No phone calls before today and you are a communication company. Not good enough!

  • gloucesterglass
    Gloucester Glass (@gloucesterglass) reported

Getting more than a little tired of really poor internet in GL2 @virginmedia I rely on it especially with the very poor Virgin/O2 mobile signal in my area. Pull your socks up Virgin this is not what I am paying for. Next week you expect me to connect my landline to my router!
